Other than Illinois and Indiana, who the fuck wants to see the Bears vs the Colts in the SB?

And I told my gf "Watch Brady throw a pick."

Crap. Well, let's go Bears?

Penalties and drops really hurt the Pats there at the end but what a job done by the Colts. They won that game, no doubt about it. Excellent job and I hope this silences some of the stupid "Comeback King" talk cause I think it was seriously going to Brady's head. He needed a game late that didn't end in his favor.

I'm fine with the Patriots season. Good effort in a hard fought title game and you can't ask for anything more.

Dear New England,

Tell Tom Brady to fuck Tom Brady.

Sincerely,

Peyton Manning

Dear Indy,

Tell Peyton Manning to call me when he wins 3 rings.

Sincerely,

Tom Brady

P.S. You finally beat me, but at least I can go home and seek solace in Gisele Bundchen's snatch. Ha.

I'd still rather be Brady

I kinda want to see it, but I wanted to see it when the Playoffs started.

If Manning loses the SB I hope he never sniffs it again. He can't down the Pats and then let a loser like Grossman beat him.

Oh, shut the fuck up about Grossman already, Jesus Christ. Even the dumbshit meatballs for whom Kyle Orton is a Football Messiah don't irrationally hate Rex Grossman as much as you do.

Hmm... That roughing the passer penalty was weak, but the Patriots didn't deserve to win anyway. The special teams looked like the only NE unit that bothered to show up for the second half.

I think the SB is gonna be an ugly, ugly game.

I'm actually very excited for the Bears vs Colts and I'll even go as far as to say that the MVP of the Super Bowl ends up being Rex Grossman. Course, I just downed a vicoden for back pain so I probably don't know what the hell I'm saying. But I'll stand by it.

Chicago is the #3 market with a national fanbase and holds a great deal of history.

Peyton Manning is the face of the NFL and comes with a explosive offense that people love to see.

Who wanted to see Seattle/Pittsburgh? Fuck that shit. Indy/Chicago? That's BIG.

Manning's only won A big one, now we'll see if he can win THE big one.

Yeah remember Marino lost one and Kelly lost four. It's not enough to just get there.

Dear Sports Media,

Well now we got a sniff of the difference between a game winning Touchdown drive, and a game winning field goal drive....I wonder if once Brady got the Pats across mid-field he figured his job was done.....

Sincerely,

Joe Montana

The Chicago Bears have a national following, like many Chicago teams. Come on. You know better than that.

Posted

Explain this to me real quick.

Why was Brady always compared to Montana? It seems to me that Brady was always more of a Terry Bradshaw minus the good looks. That's the only difference for Brady to be compared to Montana as opposed to Bradshaw.

Posted

Didn't the Cardinals have a national following and take part in the least watched WS since everyone had television just a few months ago?

This the Super Bowl, why are we talking about matchups like people won't watch the game anyways. It could be Cardinals/Jaguars and it would still pull in the ratings. Why does anybody other than the networks and advertisers care about the ratings anyways?

As for the game, I said before that the Colts needed to play a lot better than the past two weeks to win this game and after a shaky quarter and a half they did and fully deserve to win.
