Yeah, Tony killed Chris because he fucked up way too many times and he even explained how the babyseat bit was the last straw.

Anyway, it looks like the war is finally coming. AJ's mellow drama was indeed great comedy; especially his over the top reading of that war book out loud in his bed. Tony's predicted "spiritual awakening" was handled reasonably well, and I'm glad they understated it....for now.

Did you guys notice...

When AJ was at the hospital after the suicide attempt, the girl that used to be Meadow's college roommate (WAY BACK WHEN), the one who'd pull her hair out, was there near AJ, still pulling at her hair? They showed her again later.

I think she and AJ are gonna become friends.

She died didn't she?

I don't recall her dying. The character's name is Caitlin Rucker.

Edit: She didn't die. She was last seen in Season 3 consoling Meadow w/ a few other of Meadow's friends after Meadow and Jackie Jr. broke it off, calling him boring and lame.

Also, she suffered from Mean World Syndrome, not depression.

Remember the homeless lady with the newspaper diaper? That shit was awesome.

It wasn't the same actress for this episode, at any rate.

Yeah, she killed herself. Meadow mentioned to Tony and Carm, while expressing concern to them about A.J. There was also a episode, where they showed her actually laying dead, after she jumped out of a window.

Why don't Tony and Carm like Meadow's new boyfriend?

I guess because the kid was an idiot in his younger days. He's the son of Patsy Parisi, so they would have known him for a while.

Also, I think Tony knows a little of what his son does, and I don't think he wants his daughter involved with a guy who's future is in the "business." Remember Jackie Jr.?

very good episode last week, showing the show has come full circle, as it started with Tony having to deal with his depression and now AJ going thru the same thing. Tony beating the crap out of Phils guy was hilarious, if not way brutal (and the tooth still being on his pants later was nice), but it appears as if phils guys are setting Tony up. the war is finally here!!! too bad its preempted for the holdiay this week

I could've sworn Sil said "you've" been playing both sides of the fence. But it's hard to tell.

Anyway, the information says that a case of mistake identity leads to grave consequences. Some people are speculating that one of Tony's kids will get caught in the crossfire. It could also possibly be referring to the Arab deal, which we still know nothing about.

Gotta love that Godfather reference in the last episode.

I loved it too, and I'm with Mole on this one- the slow burn is doing really well, but I'm concerned about where all this is leading up to considering there's only two episodes left.

Anyone here play gears of war...Tony's curb stomp on Coco had to remind you of something..

Yeah it seems like they have to jam a helluva a lot into two hours. Plus I always figured if they were going to kill Tony off they would do it an episode before the actual finale, so that you could get some kind of view of the aftermath.

And doing it in the last scene in the second to last episode makes it any different how?

They could easily fill the last hour with the fallout.

Its different because having the last episode without Tony is dumb. But then again, they might "shock" people by doing it then.

I agree with YnA, to an extent. I don't think it'll end with a bang, but definitely leave us wanting more. Isn't that what they always say in showbiz, anyhow?

I dont see Tony dying. I think either hell finally get caught by the feds, or have a bloody rampage and the show will end with him and carm sitting on a beach in Hawaii or something, either that or he kills Dr. Melfi

(actually the last scene should be of him and the doc in the office thats how the show started remember?)

That would be pretty cool. I could live with that, I just think the consensus has been a death for Tony.

Oh fuck yeah.

Screw the feds getting to Tony. They don't have the time.

Bobby got a much better death than Sil but damn they pumped him full of bullets. There had to be over 20.

And the very short, succinct show nothing preview for next week got me jazzed to all hell.

NO MORE HIDING.

Awesome, awesome episode.

I kind of choked up when Bobby and Sil got hit, and I was glad Tony yanked AJ punk ass up.

Melfi is a fucking incompetent. And her doctor/mentor is also incometent twit, for giving out Tony's name like that.

I can't wait for Phil to get his, which realy speaks of how awsome his character is. The Shah of Iran really makes you fucking hate him.

Tony and Sil's "Raging Bull" moment at the dinner table was hilarious, and that was a great final scene of Sil, Bobby, and Tony together chilling for the last time.

Well when Paulie and Tony were packing to go to the safehouse Tony said he couldn't get through to get an update.

Paulie said that he heard back that he's probably not going to regain consciousness so I'm going under the assumption that he's a goner or at least a vegetable.

Regardless, a better "out to the show" for Bobby.

And I just thought of a theory... feds get to Tony right before he can get taken down by NY? Food for thought.

Posted

But Paulie also mentioned when they were packing up at Tony's house that he heard that Sil wasn't going to regain consciousness so he is basically as good as dead at this point. I was on the edge of seat when Sil got shot as I was legit hoping he or Patsy would pop the other two guys before Sil would be shot.

Ohhhhh. I loved the ending of tonights episode and absolutley cannot wait till next week. I think Anthony Jr will survive but someone will try to kill him at some point. I see Tony and Phil both going down in the finale as well. At this point I think I will be happy with just about anything. As long as I get some closure, I will love it.

Why the fuck did Sil have his gun in the back in a bag? The fucker should have had it on him.

Pretty good episode and I'm glad they didn't kill Tony here. That was a horrible idea and what they did here was much better.

I could see Paulie living through this, just like he did in the 70s or whatever he was talking about.
