Triple H put Mysterio over in the Royal Rumble when smarkdom was "sure" Triple H was winning it, en route to Mysterio winning the World Title. HHH sold all of Rey's spots well and it was HHH's elimination that popped the crowd huge and got them amped for Rey taking out Orton.

Man I really fear this match up, I really hope they don't job out MVP to Triple H. If it's similar to the Survivor Series match last year with Triple H, I'll stop watching wrestling for awhile. I hope to god they have Umaga and Triple H fight for a double countout, but they will most likely save that spot for Big Daddy V and Kane.

Don't know, but that was the 1st time I've posted it. I usually don't bitch, and moan when I don't get everything I want from the WWE, like so many other posters do. But if this Survivor Series match is a complete squash similar to the match last year that Triple H and the Hardyz took part in, then enough is enough, I would problay have to take a break to get over it.

I'd be really down with a potential Punk/Balls feud over Kelly, as long as they let the Balls/Kelly relationship develop for a bit. I could see them both acting slightly heelish, and either guy turning, so there'd be some intrigue, and I think Balls is decent and Punk is pretty good.

How would they actually explain why Punk is suddenly interested in her after she chased him for months last fall with Punk never really showing any mutal signs of interest. WWE has even bothered to acknowledge the past with Kelly, so it isn't a case where the past doesn't exist. I would just leave that spot as a house show deal to pop the crowd and nothing more. Punk does need someone new, since he debuted, he has dealt with Knox, Burke and Morrison with a bunch of short and ultimately meaningless spats of nothingness (Test, Thorn, Richards, Miz and BDV). a romance feud with Balls seems like a step back, if you ask me.

I know this is an out of left field question, but I was thinking about it while watching the Rey dvd. Would anyone be interested in a Rey Mysterio hell in a cell match? If so who would be a good opponent to do it with?

I think Rey Mysterio and a hell in a cell match are just to different to mesh well. Cage match sure, Rey can do one of those things no sweat but if you put a lid on that thing, I don't know, I just cant see it being any good.

Rey in a HIAC could work if he bumped his ass off for a big guy inside ala Shawn with Taker back in 97.

 

His style of high spots are a bit risky with the match, but Mysterio's creative enough to try some crazy stuff.

I read Jericho's book. It is a fantastic read. I don't think he has Foley beat storytelling-wise (for a comparison), but he holds his own. It is a great look into his being brought up from start to WWE.

 

He also tends to walk the line between kayfabe and real in the book. There are things that happen (especially when talking about his matches) that he describes in kayfabe, and others he just comes out and breaks.

 

But, overall, it is a great read.

Raw GM William Regal granted WWE Champion Randy Orton’s request to ban Sweet Chin Music after Michaels knocked him out Monday night for the fifth week in a row. Under the stipulation at Survivor Series, if HBK uses, or attempts to use, his lethal trademark move, the match will be stopped immediately. He will be disqualified and never get another opportunity at Orton’s WWE Title.

 

However, the Legend Killer is not off the hook. On the heels of his blatant disqualification at Cyber Sunday against HBK, if Orton is disqualified at Survivor Series, or appears to attempt to get disqualified, he will lose the WWE Championship.

I Tivo'd RAW last night and when getting around to watching it now, I noticed an error in the match graphic for the Traditional Survivor Series match it showed Matt Hardy with a RAW tag belt.

What with Kristal Marshall's release from WWE a few weeks ago, it looks like the planned Vickie Guerrero storyline has been dropped. Original plans for the storyline called for Vickie & Kristal to find out that Theodore Long had a heart condition and to conspire to work together to get him to take Viagra to trigger a heart attack so that Vickie could be the lone General Manager on SmackDown. Instead, Vickie will simply be a babyface General Manager that stands up to men. Also, there's no word yet on what they're going to do with Theodore Long. They were giving health updates on Long, but they stopped doing that after a week or two. Long was assured that he wasn't going to be dropped as a television character.
