Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 On Monday, the 16-time World Champion Ric Flair will be on Raw in his hometown of Charlotte, N.C. “The Nature Boy” always shines brightest in front of his home crowd, and Monday should be no exception. What will Flair have to say? What will he have in store for the Superstars of Raw when he rides that limousine into Charlotte this week on Raw? Triple H & Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy survived the odds at Survivor Series, and now the two will look to ride that wave of success into their tag team encounter this week on Raw. After Snitsky & Umaga attempted to double team Hardy, the duo’s plans were sidelined by The Game, who lent a hand to Hardy and chased off the two dominant Superstars. Will the budding friendship between The Game and the “Rainbow-haired Warrior” lead to another victory for the two or will the Samoan Bulldozer and Snitsky run them over? Our fans and all of sports-entertainment were shocked when the code that has been prevalent over the past few months was revealed to be masterminded by a returning Chris Jericho. Y2J’s second coming to WWE on Raw was not just mind-blowing, it also ruined WWE Champion Randy Orton’s Passing of the Torch Ceremony. How will Orton react to Jericho interrupting the public observance of his victory at Survivor Series? And now that Chris Jericho has come to “Save Us” – will Raw ever be the same … again? Toxxic 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 Wasn't Flair on Smackdown? And the tag match will only be good if Hardy wins with a sleeper, thereby cementing that Triple H has taught him well.
AntiLeaf33 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 Flair was drafted to Smackdown.....as was Hardcore Holly, and look how that worked out.

Jingus 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 Being GAY, obviously. I wonder how much he's been training, and who his first match will be against. 2+ years is a lot of ring rust.
Kinetic 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 Between Jericho's new look and Jeff Hardy's nickname, there's suddenly a lot of homoerotic undertones in professional wrestling.
Maztinho 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 Between Jericho's new look and Jeff Hardy's nickname, there's suddenly a lot of homoerotic undertones in professional wrestling. Haven't those always been there? And didn't Jericho work out some in Lance Storms training facility? Not that it will mean he will be 100% sharp, but at least he'll have some of the rust off and his timing should be okay.
haVoc 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 Any thoughts on what role, if any, that Jericho will play tonite? I'm more interested in seeing these new moves and finisher. I doubt he'll be wrestling already, though.

boobshaw 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 I would love to see Jericho clothesline someone else as they are coming to the ring. It could be a new weekly segment. Speaking of weekly segments, whats the over/under on the return of the Highlight Reel?

Speaking of weekly segments, whats the over/under on the return of the Highlight Reel? It could come back to help him spark up some feuds with some people. And I'd probably cry if Jericho got hurt in his first match off.
Maztinho 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 I bet Jericho gets hurt in his first match. I doubt that, actually Jericho was always pretty sturdy since his style doesn't lead itself to risky bumps. I doubt he'll actually wrestle until the PPV to increase buyrates, but he'll be there for a promo maybe a physical scuffle with Orton.
Jingus 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 his style doesn't lead itself to risky bumps. Neither did Kevin Nash's. STEP WHAM QUADTEAR. But I'm sure Jericho will be fine.
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 Just wondering but how exactly are they going to book this Jericho vs. Orton match at Armageddon? Is Jericho simply jobbing in his first match back? Win the belt? Or some sort of goofy schmozz/DQ type deal?
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 I cannot really accept that Shawn is done with Orton. He asks for a rematch, is denied, so he tucks his tail in between his legs and go away? I don't think so.
haVoc 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 I want to see Jericho and Orton blow the RKO spot and then repeat it immediately.

Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 I cannot really accept that Shawn is done with Orton. He asks for a rematch, is denied, so he tucks his tail in between his legs and go away? I don't think so. They did make it a point to openly say "Shawn lost yet again" and insert him with Kennedy and build something there. Given the track record with Kennedy this year, that has to feel like a demotion for Shawn.

TheFranchise 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 After WWE.com talked to several of Ric Flair’s confidantes, closest friends and relatives, speculation is running wild that the 16-time World Champion will announce his retirement tonight before his hometown crowd in Charlotte, N.C. Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2007 Honestly, I'm really sick of all the "Highlight Reel/VIP Lounge/Cabana" segments. Whatever happened to a guy just coming out and cutting a promo without needing an elaborate set?

Downhome 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2007 Hasn't Jericho been training very hard lately somewhere? I forget what he's been doing, but he's been training in a wrestling school somewhere, so he should be fine for action whenever they decide to stick him in his first match. As for the RKO spot, it must be posted:

As for the RKO spot, it must be posted: He trained at Storm's academy. There's a difference between working in a gym and a live crowd. He should do some dark matches/house shows before his first official ring return.
Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2007 Honestly, I'm really sick of all the "Highlight Reel/VIP Lounge/Cabana" segments. Whatever happened to a guy just coming out and cutting a promo without needing an elaborate set? Umm those segments have been going way back since Pipers Pit, and the Barber Shop. Flair also had one back in WCW, Flair for the Gold I think it was?

Speaking of weekly segments, whats the over/under on the return of the Highlight Reel? Any return of the Highlight Reel is worthless without a mention of the obscenely expensive Jeritron 5000. Maybe it'll be upgraded to the 8000, the next time we see it.
Enigma 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2007 Is Ric Flair announcing his retirement tonight? (WWE.Com) They ran something like this on a Raw in August 2002. It was the week after Flair came out and said he had "one last run" in him and challenged The Rock, who was the champ at the time, to a match and lost. Flair came out the next week and acted like he was about to announce his retirement and Chris Jericho made his big jump from Smackdown to Raw to attack him, laying him out. Who jumps Flair this time?
