Noon game halftime thoughts:

Villanova HAS to win this game. Can't believe they are in the bottom 4 of the BE currently!

If Maryland holds on to beat Georgia Tech I think that solidifies them as the 3rd best team in the ACC right now.

My boys at UNCA are putting a whooping on Winthrop by about 20 points with 10 minutes left to play. They should be 7-0 after this game and if all goes well, the favorites to win the conference tourney and advance to the big dance!

That is truly odd that Knight didn't even finish the season. What a strange end to his career. I always felt he would have a massive heart attack on the sidelines or go out like Woody Hayes.

In other news U of L just owns Marquette this year and I love every second of it. Just gotta split with G'Town now, that's all I ask.

Doesn't look like Ty Lawson is going to be able to go tonight. Fuck.

If we lose tonight at least I can comfort myself by saying that we beat Duke twice last year.

FYI, Dickie V. makes his return to the air for the game tonight so prepare yourself for that whole to-do.

How well does UConn look right now? Another win on the road in the Big East.

Dayton with a big comeback win against Charlotte.

Duke is looking VERY good against NC.

1) Duke played out of their mind tonight. They can't match this.

2) Heels are screwed without Lawson. Quentin Thomas was on the team when I was at UNC and I thought he sucked then. Guess what? He hasn't gotten any better.

Duke is doing well right now but UNC was screwed tonight without Lawson. The problem that Duke is inevitably going to have is in the tourney when they have to play some tough, grinder teams. Pitt already exposed them somewhat on that level, so what if they run into a better Big East team like G'Town? Or a more physical UCLA squad?

Lots of outstanding games tonight.

WVU/Pitt, Xavier/St. Louis, and Indiana/Illinois (complete with a Jeffrey Jordan sighting) all had great finishes.

Fucking shameful, Illini fans. What a bunch of townie dopes, throwing ice cubes at a player's parents for cheering their son.

Boston College is going to pull yet another Boston College.

Get a good lead on a superior opponent by playing to their potential, only to blow it in the second half.
