Disappointing ending to another fun playoff run. I'll give the team credit, they didn't just pack their bags and go home when they were down by 19. We fought back but we came up just short at the end, just another heartbreaking loss in a long history of them in Utah. It's too bad we couldn't have gotten the lead and finished off game 5 on a better note because I feel that is where we lost control of this series.

There wasn't a single team that matched up better with us than the Jazz. They abused us on the glass, but I can't see that happening in any of the remaining series. Boston can't even win a fuckin' road game. I'm not worried about them.

 

 

That wasn't close to the worse matchup you guys could have had! The Lakers got the perfect end of the brakets for their team.

 

Deron Williams isn't as much a quick point as he is a big, brusing ones. Derek fisher is a physical point too so that was a good matchup for you guys. And Mehmet Okur allowed for you not to have to worry about defense out of your big this round as Boozer was off and they had no other one ot challenge you.

 

In the Hornets, for instance, either Lamar or Gasol are going to have to play Chandler on the pick and roll with Paul, and that will leave either odom or Gasol on west. I am guessing west because they would murderlate Gasol on the pick and roll. Plus you guys are missing that Rick Fox/Devean George guy to hound Peja around picks, unless Ariza comes back healthy. yeah kobe vs Mo pete is embarassing, but fisher can't stay with Paul at all.

 

In San Antonio, sure you guys had a late season win, but do you really want to see Gasol matched up with Duncan, Fisher Matched up with Parker, or Kobe matched up with flopperific?

 

Both of those are worse matchups than the Jazz who aren't that good defensively, and didn't have the front line to make the Lakers pay for their lack of D up front.

 

And with the Celtics, you guys don't have anyone to matchup with Garnett or Pierce...thats kinda a big deal. At least they can throw Ray Allen(stop laughing) James Posey and Tony Allen at Kobe. Lebron is too big for those guys but Kobe is more of a natural matchup.

And I don't know if I have mentioned it or not, but if I somehow arranged a deal where if I killed one of you I could fuck Candace Parker for a specified amount of time....

Yup, the Kobe/LeBron or Paul/LeBron finals is going to fucking fantastic.

 

But if the Celtics beat the Cavs, they'll get destroyed by Detroit in 5 or 6 and they could very well end up winning another title as I see them having not too many problems with the Lakers and a balls to the wall drag out fight with the Hornets... this is pretty fucking exciting

the detroit squad, as it stands now (without not-old ben wallace and without a coach who lit a fire under their asses), will never win another championship. they'll continue to be very good, but they'll also continue to think they're a lot better than they really are.

That has nothing to do with it

 

It has to do with the ABC and TNT splitting the coverage and the NBA trying to be fair. If both Eastern Conference series went seven both games would have been on Sunday on ABC just like both series in the West would have ended on Monday on TNT if the Jazz would have won yesterday. That way no team gets an advantage going in if they all went the distance

I think it's entirely possible LeBron beats the Celtics by himself because the Celtics are playing 4 on 5 whenever Ray Allen is on the court (3 on 5 on offense because Rondo looks like he's allergic to taking a jump shot). He doesn't deserve to advance to the next round.

You say that, but with the disappearing and reappearing acts everyone in this series has done I half expect him to go off.

 

I mean think of it. In this series Lebron, Big Z, Varejao, Rondo, KG, Pierce and even Eddie freakin' House have appeared and reappeared or had like one good game then disappeared into anonymity. It's just an odd series.

Because not to actively disagree with someone is a type of agreeing. If you say something absud and no one challenges you one it, it is to be assumed that the board agrees. If I present a differing opinion, the board appears to be more sane thinking.
