Lil' Bitch Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 John Morrison has a really catchy theme song.
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 John Morrison has a really catchy theme song. I'll assume that you are being facetious and that you are aware that his music was lifted from a popular rock classic.
DrVenkman PhD Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Why? It ain't no make believe that someone could find it catchy. Wrestling music being a riff of something else makes it even more catchy!
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Why? It ain't no make believe that someone could find it catchy. Oh, it's just as catchy as "Fire," but I just wasn't sure if MVP was being sarcastic or serious.
DarKnight Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 You know what wrestler I thought had one of the catchiest theme songs ever? Marc Mero in the WWF. That riff was awesome. I wish they would bring that one guy back who used to do the theme songs, because the current guy's theme songs just aren't that memorable.

DrVenkman PhD Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 The Marvelous Marc Mero theme (which is awesome) was production music. This is why it's not on the SummerSlam 98 DVD. WCW used it as Renegade's theme.
Matt Young Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 It was also Bill DeMott's WWE theme. I liked it a lot, though. I used that combined with the Gangrel entrance for my CAW in WWF Attitude.
DrVenkman PhD Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 I don't recall that at all. I just remember this theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB323bn3K2E
Matt Young Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 If I recall correctly, it was after he was on Tough Enough. But I know for sure he used it. EDIT: I think Mark Jindrak used it for a while, too.
haws bah gawd Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Speaking of Bill Demott, is he still around? I can't recall ever hearing of his release.
cabbageboy Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 I'm pretty sure he was released as a trainer in developmental, but that was back when Deep South Wrestling was dropped by WWE. Anyone know more than this?
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 A lot of laughing... then being serious... then laughing again...
Scroby Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 You know who else had a great theme that never got used? Christian. It was on one of the WWE albums (I think vol. 5) but it was never used for him, except I think once.
Diamonddust Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 I'm pretty sure he was released as a trainer in developmental, but that was back when Deep South Wrestling was dropped by WWE. Anyone know more than this? Yeah, he was released and then he did a shoot interview stating how they pretty much screwed over the entire DSW operation.

It was on one of the WWE albums (I think vol. 5) but it was never used for him, except I think once. I think it was on Volume 4 if it's the one I'm thinking of, and I know he used it a few times, but afterwards it was always Edge's music until the split. I didn't really like that theme. But while searching for the theme I'm thinking of, I found this, which I don't recall ever hearing (and it's pretty cool): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1SgHcsHiWE This would be the one I was thinking of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZINUb8EUno
Scroby Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 It was the second youtube link you posted, and after all that time, I thought that 2nd was his first theme.
OldSchoolWrestling Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Speaking of Bill Demott, is he still around? I can't recall ever hearing of his release. I think I saw him interviewed on TNA as one of the women's trainers when they were doing the Angelina Love/Gail Kim ppv build a month or two back.

I think I saw him interviewed on TNA as one of the women's trainers when they were doing the Angelina Love/Gail Kim ppv build a month or two back. I think you may be thinking of Scott D'Amore.
cd213 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 OldSchool, you are correct. He was one of the people interviewed for the Rough Cut segment.
Scroby Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 No it was Bill DeMott. I think he trained Taylor Wilde TNA's current womans champion.
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Bill DeMott is exactly why Tough Enough Season 3 was my favorite. I'm not usually one for reality television, but the conversation he has with Matt Capotelli the day after that fuckard Bob Holly took full advantage of him was about as sincere as it got. DeMott getting the call about Rocco Rock just afterward really hit me hard too.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Is Season 1 of Tough Enough the only one out on DVD?
Scroby Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 yeah and it was only a behind the scenes dvd as well. Hell Tough Enough 3 didn't even get a soundtrack. I was so disapointed of that as Tough Enough season 1 and 2 soundtracks were really good.
Steviekick Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 http://www.amazon.com/MTVs-WWF-Tough-Enoug...n/dp/B00005S6KB I just checked on Amazon, and the first season is available on DVD, as well as the one that Scroby mentioned.

I can't recall ever hearing the first one, but it does sound good. Seeing the pic of him in the 2nd link with the Lightheavyweight Belt was interesting. Christ that thing was small.
Ravenbomb Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 His first theme kinda reminds me of the Batman Beyond intro.
Broward83 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 RVD had a good intro that I don't remember being used all that often: RVD theme
cd213 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Question about 'Taker's Wrestlemania streak: when did they first acknowledge it? Was he 3-0 before they said, "Hey this guy has a streak" or was it deeper in? Just asking this, because after thinking about it, I rrally think that is one thing that they have that's untouchable in the ring. I think he is going to retire undefeated, but that's just me.
