When I'm referring to WWE to friends that are lukewarm fans, I still call it WWF . . . Saying WWE out loud just feels that much more geeky.

In all fairness to Hayes, when he commentated w/ Monsoon on the MSG shows, he wasn't bad at all. Probably because he could take his time when he spoke and didn't have to find himself stuttering trying to keep up w/ what was going on.

I'll certainly record it . . . after all, I did make two battle royal comps just for kicks. I'm a little surprised they don't show the CW tag dark match from the MSG tapings on Velocity and the Battle Royal on Heat.

So... first of why is Heidenreich in the bit about crusiers and second, how can Kidman develop a personality when he's never on-screen? Either you have a personality or don't. Kidman doesn't. He did when he was WCW Crusier champ. Methinks that he ain't so much the problem. Thats what marriage does for you. When given the choice between losing my personality and fucking Torrie on a regular basis, I'd pick Torrie. Of course, my personality sucks anyways. If I had Roddy Piper's personality, I'd dump it for regular refuelings at the Torrie Station.

He looked to be really uncooperative in his 1980s heel WWF run as well. He made few, if any, look good. But bless his heart, I'll always love my Rowdy Roddy Piper's Greatest Hits video.

The David Flair vs. Dean Malenko US Title Match from BatB 1999. I remember the IWC being irate for seeing a smark darling get passed up for Ric's kid. But seeing AA, Ric Flair, Lil Naitch, and Asya all cheat their balls . . . or ovaries off to ensure Dave's victory was a thing of beauty. The IWC's reaction was just icing on the cake. Plus, I've never been too much of a Dean Malenko sympathizer anyway.

I would like to see the WWE run itself into the ground solely just so Stephanie McMahon *might possibly* see what a worthless yet increasingly pompous sack of cow shit she is. Even if WWE completely collapsed, I don't think the Vince/Steph McMahon would EVER blame themselves. It would just be a down cycle gone horribly wrong to them. When you're working as often as the McMahons do, it would be hard to look back and truly put the blame on themselves since I sincerely think they're doing the best they can . . . but I'm a pretty naive guy, so eh.

He did guest commentate a match on Thunder right at the end of WCW but since they were promoting a gimmick ppv match, he kept yelling "PENALTY BOX PENALTY BOX PENALTY BOX!!!"

The only match I would pay to see at this point is JBL vs. HHH . . . assuming JBL gets the duke, no matter how cheap the outcome is. I figure IF this match ever happened, JBL will probably be salvaged since it's Vince's favorite gimmick.

I dare someone to try to get Ric Flair to sign the book . . . unless you're just talkin about the cover boys.

Epic music videos for the top 2 or 3 matches are fine or even for a long running-undercard feud like Kidman/London was. Some simple b-roll highlights before/during entrances for the rest of the matches are fine. If EVERY match gets an epic buildup, none of the matches would seem epic anymore.

Make that 4 matches . . . the 2 Tag Title Matches, CW Open, and Women's Title Match. Plus, all the hype videos are hacked outta there, except for UT/Kane. The quality is surprisingly good for EP though as they clipped the event down to 3 hours.

They must have screwed up the date. Sounds like par for the course. Should have said 1995.

Didn't Steph make lil comments about Kurt's cuteness as early as late 1999 during Angle's undefeated streak? IIRC, HHH would book Angle against the odds just to mess w/ Steph a little bit (Angle vs. Mark Henry, Angle vs. Headbangers, ect). It wasn't meant to be serious at the time but it obviously escalated after the brunt of the Rock/HHH feud was done.

Damn, the FYE here still has tapes from 2001 for $19.99.....Insuxxxertion is tempting if it drops to around $5. Yeah, the prices vary but if one picks up the release in the 1st week, it's usually discounted down to $10-11. But the last 4-6 months, they've been $8 . . . $7.50ish when my lil 5% off card comes into play. I'd be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts some of those tapes MAY be marked down when you take them to the regsiter.

As far as glitches go, is this LOW: Showdown bad or not?
