I am kind of dissapointed that Vargas has dissapeared. I figured he had a bright future ahead of him. I cheered for Tito when he fought Vargas, but Vargas seemed to have good skills, he was just a young punk that needed to be taught a lesson. Of course going on to lose to De La Hoya probably didn't help his ego. On a sidenote: Did Prince Naseem Hamed officially retire or did he just dissapear too? Vargas fought a comeback fight on HBO last year in the summer, winning by ko...he lookd Very good. He has since been injured and continue to deal with personal issues...but he will be back. Hamed hasnt fully retired, but hes only fought once since getting whipped by Barerra in '01...I dont expect to see him back any time soon.
