  1. Did anybody here communicate with Royal outside of this board? Does anybody know why he quit in the first place?
  2. My knee-jerk reaction says no, but damned if I won't give it the old (finally going back to) college try.
  3. How'd you trick an American woman into coming to Denmark? Put up one of those phony signs reading "This way to Amsterdam?" Or did you come here and kidnap her? PS- So, does that mean that you really *are* thirty-three?
  4. Hey now... it could have been Danish women that he ate. Can't be the worst thing in the world to eat a Danish woman... :: looks at Blank :: Or can it?
  5. Very well, sir. If you won't accept my apology, I suppose that is your prerogative.
  6. Whoa. For a second there you sounded exactly like my brother. I don't listen to him either.Pete, I did not mean to offend. I'm not wishing bad on your marriage; It's just that I'm recently out of a particularly bad 7-year marriage, and I'm a little (read: a fucking lot) anti-marriage right now... But, I shouldn't have rained on your parade, and I apologize. - Dub Cee
  7. Heart? What's going on here? What happened to the angry G I know and love?
  8. First of all, I'm under the impression that podcasts were originally devised to be uploaded to iPods, so if I'm wrong on that concept, please square me away... Now then, is there any way to listen to podcasts in Windows?
  9. Well, I suppose I could try to win it from Aecas... but I've got to beat J³ first... Aecas = cock blocker
  10. I'm of the exact opposite opinion: my Finals enjoyment rests with Detroit. I would find Miami versus anybody for the Championship to be completely unwatchable.
  11. Good god, anybody but BP; that's my third least-favorite player in the whole league, and if he wins a title before Webber, I'll fucking be sick.
  12. Fishing?
  13. Go eat a dick. I am a knicks fan so no need to get angry with me. I have felt your pain plenty of times. Especially game 7 at home in the 1995 semi's against the Pacers. Ewing missed a fingerroll at the end of the game. Alright, I take it back; I just don't like being reminded of that series, is all, and every playoffs ABC and TNT make sure to roll that shot from Game 4... They'll probably continue to replay it until well after Horry retires...
  14. Who was that guy that was drafted in 99 or 00 that had depression/attitude problems. I think he is the most worthless. Leon Smith. EDIT X2 - Okay fine, I'll take it back...
  15. I've had to see 2004 a heck of a lot more than they show 2003. Quit yer bitching, both of you; do you have any idea how many times I've had to relive that Kings/Lakers series from '02?
  16. I, on the other hand, *don't* like the Mavericks, and *don't* want them to win, but... :: shrugs :: What the hell, they've paid their dues...
  17. I don't know why, but what I've personally found most interesting about this series has been seeing Tim Duncan posting up on Keith Van Horn, as I remembered that, although they were taken 1-2 in the 1997 NBA Draft, this is the first time that they've ever met in the playoffs. This then got me to thinking: how many times have the #1-2 picks in the draft ever met in the playoffs? Since I'm lazy, I decided to limit my research to the Lottery era (1985-), but here's what I've discovered: Since the inception of the Draft Lottery, there have only been four sets of #1-2 overall draft picks that have ever played against each other in the playoffs at any point in their careers: 1988 (Danny Manning [ATL]/Rik Smits [iND] - 1994) 1993 (Chris Webber [sAC]/Shawn Bradley [DAL] - 2002, 2003, 2004) 1997 (Tim Duncan [sAS]/Keith Van Horn [DAL] - 2006) 1998 (Michael Olowokandi [MIN]/Mike Bibby [sAC] - 2004)
  18. Well, I'd rather have seen New Jersey and Detroit, but I'll take Detorit/Miami over Cleveland/Miami. Completely agreed on Mason, though; he needs to be dragged into the street and shot on the six o'clock news.
  19. That's just one of the reasons why I will always resent shows like Survivor and American Idol and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire; the heads at the networks got obsessed with the instant ratings gratification that comes from those kinds of shows, and so they're no longer willing to let a show find its niche. It's also why shows today tend to blow their wad in the first season, and decline progressively from there. I disagree about ER, as I still feel that it's a good show; in fact, it's one of only four shows returning next season that I make it a point to watch every week. And, to be perfectly honest, the fact that there are no original cast members left is one of the things I like the most; I love the fact that they don't let the characters stick around long enough to get stale.
  20. Agreed; I'd rather have the freedom to believe that characters A & B either got together/back together or not, rather than have it determined for me.
  21. It's more sort of a green-ish blue.
  22. Nah, won't be next show: I can't write for Storm. Bookers, please take note of my last.
