  1. Speaking of which, now that there's not a Mrs. Economist on the horizon, have you been eating more, or less, pie?...
  2. he was for a hot second. He probably smelled my liberalism sneaking up and took off.... Dude, your liberalism doesn't sneak up on anyone. I can smell that shit when browsing in LSD. Well Mike's vacation from TSM lasted longer than I thought it would, or was this just a "drive-by SC"? Uh-oh...
  3. He/She should start posting here. The CE people would welcome this with open arms, and INXS would have a friend...
  4. You LA drivers are crazy. I was there 10+ years ago and was in awe of your massive freeways. I can't imagine what it must be like now. In Ohio there are some camera that will take a picture of you if you're going too fast on the Interstate, and there are cameras at intersections. One time when I was a Middletown resident, I was at one of these intersections with a camera and "NO TURN ON RED" sign, and the douche bechind me was going crazy because I wasn't turning on read. I pointed to the sign, the camera and gave him the bird. Not sure if that should go in the road rage thread...
  5. The posters of TSM have been very desirous that a black poster do well. I've never seen Ripper as a black poster ever ... ever...
  6. Bummer. I thought it was gonig to be that interim guy for the Browns...
  7. Funny how this was also the same game Moose Johnson busted out his "All-Lunch-Pail Team" or whatever it was called. He has only himself to blame -- one yard. I'm sure there was at least one play during the season where he didn't put his full effort forth on a rushing attempt and could have gained a few yards...
  8. The sad thing about that is that they never name any GOOD charities if they decide to do an expose (agenda or no agenda) on "bad" ones. Yeah, but that's one of the oldest Journalism tricks in the Big/Medium/Small Media Playbook -- take a few examples and say that's how everyone acts in a certain profession/business...
  9. Bummer. I thought he'd love seeing all those Muslims dead. Oh well, maybe that'll be in the next press release...
  10. Cheelsala, you do realize that most of the "conservative outrage" was kept up and running by MikeSC? In reality, most of us Conservative Brigaders aren't all that bitter or outraged about a number of issues that were discussed here. And in truth, this Mexican coloring book, or whatever it is, really isn't that big a deal in the grand scheme of things, especially considering voters in border states have been shot down by some judge whenever a proposition is voted on regarding eliminating benefits for people who enter this country illegally...
  11. I'd be all for SS tax money going into it's own "account." Every time I hear the words "Social Security Trust Fund," I want to vomit. And too bad its reason has been perverted over the years. Back in the day it was nothing more than a supplement for people who outlived the current age expectancy. If anything, the age requirement to collect SS should be jacked up at least 5-10 years. Too bad it will never happen...
  12. Yeah, America sucks. That's why there are people arriving here on home-made boats to work in slaughterhouses...

  14. Next time I visit Westmoreland Mall, I'll have to see if those people are still there selling those games. Bah. I haven't had anal in at least a year. Wait a second...
  15. Well, I, for one, was on the edge of my seat during the Jar-Jar/Boss Nass confrontation in Ep. I...
  16. This is funny. My local paper just ran a feature on how the PA Turnpike is run by morons...
  17. So what was the reason for the visit?...
  18. Depends if the kitties are pissed off or not. Also, are the cats fixed?...
  19. I don't see Padme. Look real close. She's in the ship on the far left side of the star-fighting picture. (EDIT: You know, I think she actually is in one of the pics, if memory serves.) Anyway, I have always thought the ROTJ sequence of the Dark Side trying to suck Luke in would be the same way Anikan got turned. Looks like I may have been right. And I love the one pic with Chris Lee. I have to give him a hand (or two) on his acting...
  20. Oops. Sorry. Gotta have that home-field advantage...
  21. We're still buds, right?...
  22. Regarding the amount of money coming in for aid, remember what happened after 9/11 -- the United Way and Red Cross had so much money they didn't know how to spend it all. I think a certain cable news channel that produces quality worthy of the LOL2005 seal of approval will have their next scandal -- where's the aid money going? -- to cover for the next year or so...
  23. If you would have won one more conference game and lost a non-conference, I could have figured out your victory strength, too... Playoff matchups: AFC: First week byes: Denver, Cleveland New England @ Tenn Houston @ Buffalo NFC: First week byes: Atlanta, Green Bay Detroit @ Arizona St. Louis @ NY Giants
  24. Update on AFC playoff picture. First off, here are the final results for the AFC South. Tenn, not Hou, is the Division winner. I had an extra loss for Chuck because I mistook him for Indy one week in which he won and Indy lost. Below is the regular-season record for Tenn and Hou. Because they had split their season series and have the same Division record, the Conference record was the deciding factor, with Chuck winning with a 9-3 record to Bored's 7-5 record. Tenn: Week 1: beat Mia 9-7 (1-0, 0-0 Div., 1-0 Conf.) Week 2: beat Indy 6-4 (2-0, 1-0 Div., 2-0 Conf.) Week 3: lost Jax 7-9 (2-1, 1-1 Div., 2-1 Conf.) Week 4: lost SD 6-7 (2-2, 1-1 Div., 2-2 Conf.) Week 5: lost GB 6-6 + TB (2-3, 1-1 Div., 2-2 Conf.) Week 6: lost Hou 8-8 + TB (2-4, 1-2 Div., 2-3 Conf.) Week 7: lost Minn 5-5 + TB (2-5, 1-2 Div., 2-3 Conf.) Week 8: beat Cin 5-3 (3-5, 1-2 Div., 3-3 Conf.) Week9: BYE Week 10: lost Chi 9-10 (3-6, 1-2 Div., 3-3 Conf.) Week 11: beat Jax 11-7 (4-6, 2-2 Div., 4-3 Conf.) Week 12: beat Hou 11-8 (5-6, 3-2 Div., 5-3 Conf.) Week 13: beat Indy 10-9 (6-6, 4-2 Div., 6-3 Conf.) Week 14: beat KC 9-8 (7-6, 4-2 Div., 7-3 Conf.) Week 15: beat Oak 9-7 (8-6, 4-2 Div., 8-3 Conf.) Week 16: beat Den 7-7 + TB (9-6, 4-2 Div., 9-3 Conf.) Week 17: beat Det 8-4 (10-6, 4-2 Div., 9-3 Conf.) Hou: Week 1: lost SD 7-9 (0-1, 0-0 Div., 0-1 Conf.) Week 2: beat Det 10-8 (1-1, 0-0 Div., 0-1 Conf.) Week 3: beat KC 6-6 + TB (2-1, 0-0 Div., 1-1 Conf.) Week 4: beat Oak 9-8 (3-1, 0-0 Div., 2-1 Conf.) Week 5: lost Min 5-8 (3-2, 0-0 Div., 2-1 Conf.) Week 6: beat Ten 8-8 + TB (4-2, 1-0 Div., 3-1 Conf.) Week 7: BYE Week 8: beat Jax 7-5 (5-2, 2-0 Div., 4-1 Conf.) Week 9: lost Den 6-9 (5-3, 2-0 Div., 4-2 Conf.) Week 10: beat Ind 5-5 + TB (6-3, 3-0 Div., 5-2 Conf.) Week 11: beat GB 9-5 (7-3, 3-0 Div., 5-2 Conf.) Week 12: lost Tenn 8-11 (7-4, 3-1 Div., 5-3 Conf.) Week 13: beat NYJ 13-8 (8-4, 3-1 Div., 6-3 Conf.) Week 14: lost Ind 7-11 (8-5, 3-2 Div., 6-4 Conf.) Week 15: beat Chi 6-4 (9-5, 3-2 Div., 6-4 Conf.) Week 16: beat Jax 11-5 (10-5, 4-2 Div., 7-4 Conf.) Week 17: lost Cle 10-11 (10-6, 4-2 Div., 7-5 Conf) In addition, nl5 got the sixth seed over Bitch due to a better Conference record 7-5 to 6-6. Coming next: the AFC Division seedings. Buffalo, Cleveland, Tenn, and Denver all have 10-6 records. I am now going to use the rules as seen on NFL.com: Step 1 does not apply in this case since they are all division winners This does not apply because not one team faced off against all the other three. Here are the following Conference records: Denver 9-3 Tenn 9-3 Cleveland 9-3 Buffalo 8-4 Buffalo is the fourth seed. There were not four common games between Denver, Tenn and Cleveland. In other words, take the won-loss records of the opponents each team has beaten. Cleveland's wins: Baltimore (8-8) Washington (4-12) Pittsburgh (8-8) Cincy (8-8) NY Jets (6-10) Cincy (8-8) New England (9-7) San Diego (8-8) Miami (4-12) Houston (10-6) Total Record: (73-87) Denver KC (5-11) San Diego (8-8) Tampa Bay (7-9) Oakland (9-7) Houston (10-6) San Diego (8-8) Miami (4-12) KC (5-11) Tenn (10-6) Indy (8-8) Total Record: (74-86) Tenn Miami (4-12) Indy (8-8) Cincy (8-8) Jack (4-12) Houston (10-6) Indy (8-8) KC (5-11) Oakland (9-7) Denver (8-8) Detroit (9-7) Total Recrod: (73-87) Denver has the top seed, so now it's time to go to the Two-team tie-breaking rules. Nope. Still tied. Here we go. The teams are Cincy, San Diego, Miami, and Houston. Jack played Cincy twice, and Chuck played Houston twice, so whoever has the best record against these four opponents gets the second seed: Cleveland: Beat all four opponents and won all five games. Tenn: Beat Cincy, Miami and Houston once. Lost to San Diego and Houston once. Cleveland has the second seed. The AFC seedings are as follows (until I find something else I did wrong...) 1) Denver 2) Cleveland 3) Tenn 4) Buffalo 5) Houston 6) New England
