Hey how about that, Siskel felt the same way I did about Short Circuit 2 and it's quality over the original. Time to watch the Batman reviews.

Some of those IGN user comments are gold.

So in my trying to get everything connected again, I somehow lost all traces of my computer recognizing the WiFi connection (maybe because I accidentally clicked on the installation CD? I don't know). Briefly, my Wii let me connect to the net but then I received an error number much bigger than 51040. That's when I went to my computer and noticed the little blue WiFi icon vanished. So, in following instructions I found on some forum when researching the 51040 error, I uninstalled my WiFi connector stuff and set up to reinstall it. Unfortunatley my computer refuses to acknowledge the WiFi connector dongle now, ending the installation process after telling me it wasn't installed to the USB port (after acknowledging it WAS just a minute earlier as part of set-up). I tested the port with my camera and it worked fine, so I have no idea what the problem is now.

All of the sudden I'm not able to connect to the net via the Wii, which I found funny because someone in our group of friends just bought a Wii and for whatever reason cannot get it online. I keep getting "Error 51040" and in doing some (very limited) research, this seems to be a Nintendo error that has been bothering people since the recent firmware update (server overload). Anyone else having problems?

The best part is they left Squirtle un-evolved. Good stuff.

Yeah, I don't recall the part in the Batman Forever movie where Batman was defeated by Crazy Ted because he couldn't input the proper commands to throw something.

I tried to purposely get a +10 but ended up with a +9. Hmm....

Hmm... after the fact, I DID think Sega published it but Wikipedia let me down on that one. It lumped both games together as TAoB&R and compared versions instead of deeming them seperate. We had to use the slow motion or turbo pause or whatever the correct term for it was just to advance anywhere in the Batwing levels in the Sega version, now that I look back. Crazy.

The Adventures of Batman and Robin was pretty good (but really difficult according to memory) for the Genesis.

Hogan doesn't even slam Andre at WreslteFest, what a rip off! Interesting how Andre barely sold the devastation of the leg drop, though. I had no idea the Powers of Pain ever had music. -
Wiki says: A redesigned version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, the time travel concept was removed from this version and replaced by a plot where Shredder uses the Hyperstone to shrink Manhattan Island to the size of a bottle. Several of the stages of the original arcade game are used, with their odd, non-modern appearance explained away — for example, the pirate ship becomes a ghost ship. While most aspects of Turtles in Time were carried over to The Hyperstone Heist, some changes were made to the gameplay. The most noticeable one is that The Hyperstone Heist adds a run button, while in Turtles in Time, the turtles would run awhile after walking or after the player tapped the directional pad twice in the designated direction. Another noticeable change is the Turtles will no longer throw the foot soldiers, though they still can slam them back and forth on the ground after they dash attack them. The Hyperstone Heist ranks poorly due to the limitations of the Genesis system compared to the SNES [2]. Thanks to the superior color palette of the SNES, Turtles in Time looks brighter and more colorful, and while the Genesis makes up for this deficiency with more background layers and animation frames, the graphics of the SNES version are still preferred by gamers. So yeah, basically what Andrew said.

MVP vs Matt Hardy in a boxing match is all set for SNME. -
Bump, because brought back awesome nostalgia memories. Anyone who grew up in the 80s and had Global television is probably familiar with this game show.

Is Kevin Dillon anywhere in this movie? That would be good synergy.

According to a scene on the Season 10 DVD, the anthem of Springfled in the credits was originally sung by the town as the waited for the bomb to go off.

Heh, love the "extremely urgent" part of that story. Way to be, WWE and/or FedEx!

http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/article...valuableprogram This seems like it could warrant it's own thread, but it also seems conveniently timed. I'm not trying to be cynical about it, but the headline "MOST VALUABLE PROGRAM" while the Wellness Program is under heat comes off as a bit much. -
Metroid comes to VC on Monday. Super Metroid comes to VC the Monday after that.

The posters at the movie theatre here for SummerSlam are all outdated, showing Umaga doing his thing while the Jackass crew is buried in sand. -
My initial assumption when they brought up that Raw was taking place from MSG this Monday AND would have a ceremony involving King Booker, I just assumed HHH would show up and try for the 10 Minute MSG Ovatation For Quad Injury Return sequel.

Andy Samberg + "Hulkamania" shirt = good movie.
