I took Bonds, Clemens and Thome in the NMB league, maybe i'll add Prior, Wood, Bagwell, Griffey Jr, Sosa and make an all-old man/injury prone dream team.

Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen will be my keepers for another season, no surprises there. Should be quite the final week, alfdogg, Will Scarlet and myself all separated by 0.5 games for the final playoff spot.

31 points with 12/16 Sweet Sixteen teams remaining, and all my elite 8/final 4 picks intact. I fully expect my brackets to get blown to hell before long though.

One day in and already 2 of my Sweet 16 teams gone, going about as crap as i expected i would.

Calvinball = TREMENDOUS. Never particularly cared for the first two such matches, but this i most definately enjoyed. Just skimmed the rest so far, but everything looks like quality. WC/Hawke and ELM/Wes in particular will be read at the earliest opportunity, even though i always say that and never do, but THIS time i mean it.

I always liked writing Axis, though that was with the Edwin/King/Axis commentary team, having two supreme characters to have him play off probably covered up any blandness for me that others experienced.

Really not much of a comedy writer, particularly the sort of WACKY humor that's generally prevailent in the SWF and a match like this is designed for. I'll probably throw together a thousand words of mass incoherant retardation and see how things go anyway, i can't pass up the opportunity to write against An Octopus at the very least.

He was involved in a couple, the Bunkhouse Match from Epic Encounter and the Scramble Cage from At Our Best both jump straight to mind but there might have been others as well.

I'm in, i went surprisingly well last year despite knowing nothing, lets see if i can pull it off again.

God damn it, i knew i was forgetting something today. Though maybe i should miss live drafts more often, every time i do i always seem to end up with the #1 or 2 pick.

I think the NWA Heavyweight Title was even defended before in ROH while Styles was the champ. Pretty sure Styles/Sabin on some 2003 show was for the NWA Title, though i could be getting my timeframes mixed up and it could have been for the X Title instead.

Joe had a good match with Tank. He's certainly a big guy, and not really considered a 'good wrestler' either. Brad Bradley's a big guy, Joe had probably the two best matches of Bradley's career with him. I can't really remember the Joe/Abyss matches, but they were at least decent to good. Joe might not have a huge list of good matches vs big opponents (which isn't really Joe's fault since the indies are 99% cruiserweights), but i can't think of any that were bad either.

Pokemania Fist Helmet. I think i jobbed to that thing too, oh the humanity.

Nash hurt, Duncan hurt, problems with Amare, if any of them are serious things in the West just swung heavily in the Mavericks favor. They might get a chance to be the Colts of the NBA after all.

TNT was in XF9? I don't remember that one at all. As a side note, i think i'm probably the only person who can claim to have beaten every single person that was ever in X Force 9, with the exception of SoS (he was in XF9 right?) since he left before i turned up.
