Its really ashame Mark Patrick lost his radio show on Fox Sports Radio in the mornings. He used to go by the rule that the only sports fans who can say WE are Packer fans in the actual city of Green Bay, graduates from a school, or people that own stock in teams that have stock. After listening to just about every person in Indy call in radio shows over the last week about how they were going to take it to the Pats and Peyton wasn't gonna choke this time...this is amusing.

Damn, that is how good they are? I didn't think that was possible yet. Some shows (Cartoons/sitcoms) will fit on 1 disc, but for the most part you might need 2 instead of 7. Consider the following: 24 Season 3 on DVD - 7 Discs in double layer format (9.4 GB a disc) 7 x 9.4 = 65.8 GB It would probably take up 2 HD-DVDs in double layer mode or 2 Blu Ray discs in Single layer mode minus the extras disc.

For the "Theres gonna be a format confusion!" people, JVC has made a combo blu-ray/regular DVD disc that can fit both formats on one disc so they can avoid format confusion by selling only 1 disc. Blu Ray has way more space than HD-DVD (20 GB single side/30 GB double sided vs 27 GB single sided/50 GB double sided) But...I Wouldn't get too excited..Pioneer is messing with Ultraviolet light and thinks they can get 500 (FIVE HUNDRED!!)GB on a disc. So the Blu-Ray/HD-DVD era may be really short lived.

A 30 year old pitcher who hasn't pitched in 5 years since his arm basically shattered while throwing a pitch. No..see..Capcom thought they'd make the game look cool by putting black bars on the game instead of making a setting for Widescreen TVs. I didnt really think the bars would be a problem, but they take up a pretty big chunk of my 30 inch widescreen TV. I could ZOOM the image, but that would distort the picture. Crappy picture, I know.. Maybe Im not doing something right..I know I dont have the cables to output fromt he GC to my TV to get progressive scan but I dont think that really should matter.

I voted other, but I dont know what to do with the $40 million. I thought about the Mudslide victims out in CA, but they'll eventually get Government money anyway. The Tsunami victims charity stuff annoys me because Indonesia doesn't even want the aid workers there and are going to force them to leave in March even though originally they said it could take years for them to help everyone to get back to normal. So they can't possibly spend the money they've gotten in 3 months, so I question where all that money is going to be headed. $40 million to the military probably wouldnt even buy 1 new tank, probably half a tank if it had armor on it. Bush could have taken out a 30 second commercial during the Super Bowl and said.."Im still your President..na na na na" and I bet FOX would have run it.

Flay actually does southwest more than mexican cuisine. Rick Bayless does authentic Mexican cuisine, which is kinda different from southwest cuisine. And I read that they got Alton Brown to provide the humor that was inherent in the translation from Japanese of the original.

I really wish Capcom didn't have to be so good about the details as to have the villagers actually speak spanish. It would be nice to know what they're saying. Also putting cows and chickens in the farm area...nice touch. Anyone else steped on a rake and got hit in the head with the handle, or was I imagining that I did? The only problem Im having so far is the fact that Ive got a widescreen TV and the black bars are bigger than even a widescreen movie on a regular TV.

Maryland is all for horse racing and the lottery, but God forbid people should be able to pull a lever (or press a button now a days..) and try and win a few bucks on a couple of spinning reels. Meanwhile, Delaware is raking in the money from slots and Pennsylvania/West Virginia just did give the go ahead to do Slots. I see tour busses every day on Route 13 from Virginia going to Dover/Harrington for slots, not to mention the fact that the last 3 times I've been to Harrington, which is only an hour or so from where I live, Id say at least 1/3 of the cars in the lot were from Maryland. Its kind of stupid that the lawmakers in Annapolis can't see that they will end up losing money by not doing slots since there are several options for people in Maryland to play slots if they want to bad enough. If slots are such a problem, then I would suggest that the Lottery and Horseracing be banned as well since its all gambling and I dont see how you can support 2 forms of gambling and not another.
