You seemed willing to learn about Austin/Jericho's in-ring chemistry - you may be a bit stubborn with your beliefs, but you can say the same about that for the rest of us. 4-6.

We'll find out when UK's Silvervision releases the info, I assume. Jason The info has already been released - no extras were announced for the DVD.

There's no definitive match of the two, honestly. They never seemed to mesh in the ring, although two matches you didn't mention are the closest examples of their apparent chemistry. I'll post a CRZ recap of the match in particular, then a Scott Keith recap of the same match. Austin © v. Jericho - 06/04/01 RAW - this match can be found on the Action! DVD. Quite possibly the best match they've had on live TV together. Austin© v. Jericho - 12/03/01 RAW - the last RAW before the Vengeance PPV. I've never seen this specific match, so... Jericho © v. Austin - 12/10/01 RAW - the night after the Vengeance PPV (cage match).

When both teams are this evenly-matched, the losses don't seem to run so deep. I'm heavily anticipating the Braves/Giants postseason series (most likely NLCS)- it'll kick some serious ass. Cox & Mazzone probably figured that it would be better to identify Bond's plate weaknesses, as the countdown to their inevitable match-up in the postseason comes up - sacrificing this game to get an inside track on Bonds might produce something to use.

Since December 2001, so 20 months. Actually, it was April of 2002, so it was 16 months.

? Chris Benoit is the best overall worker in the United States - why isn't he enjoying a decade-long World Championship reign? Why in the hell are you asking US why Spanky is in London's place? We don't have a fucking clue - a few of us don't really care, because Spanky seems to have a certain CHARISMA about him, that most people have said Paul London doesn't have. She's got a contract with the WWE. That's ALL that really matters. STEP 1: Someone (most likely Johnny Ace, from his work in Japan) suggested Dragon's hiring. STEP 2: Jim Ross signed Ultimo Dragon to the deal. This didn't involve Vince pouring over 20 tapes of Dragon's best work - he trusted JR's judgment, while ASSUMING that this worker could pop the crowds with fantastic manuevers and his uncanny charisma (while else would Ace hire him, right?).

There is CERTAINLY a market for this product, when you factor in sales from house shows, live events and Shopzone.com. Divas-related merchandise are routinely the best-selling product at all of these functions.

Is HE the "Executive Vice President of Talent Relations"? No. Is HE responsible for monitoring independent talents? No. Is HE responsible for signing talent? No. So is Vince responsible for knowing each and every wrestler, including their hobbies, likes and dislikes, to appease the Internet Wrestling Community? No. It's a DEVELOPMENTAL CONTRACT. There is a pretty good chance that Vince DOESN'T have a role in meeting with the talent going straight down to OVW- if they're called up to the WWE, their contract is restructured, while Vince will meet with the talent to iron out the deal. When it's not HIS JOB to sign talent, there's an excuse for that.

Nash's Movie,Scott Hall and Booker T
Fökai replied to SpikeFayeJettEdBebop's topic in The WWE Folder
Strangely, I only remember Bobby Walker and Sonny Onoo being part of the lawsuit filed against Turner. There was one other individual I'm blanking on, but it sure WASN'T Booker T. -
With all of the resistance shown towards Rodman back in 1996-1997 - it figures.

Thank you for the insight. -
Like I should criticize YOU for making this ridiculous claim - As evidenced by the horrible production values, shoddy camera work (by ROH) and bush-league tendencies? (see this week's TNA, with a title belt falling off a wire TWICE during a gimmick match, for an example). Oh, and the fact that they do better business than both of these promotions COMBINED. Oh, and a talent roster that puts all of these promotions "that the WWE hope to be" to shame. Oh, and said booking (that at it's worst point) that is STILL better overall than both TNA and ROH's angles.

Your First Live Event
Fökai replied to A Guy Who Injects Heroin Into Kids' Eyes 's topic in The WWE Folder
Go to cawthon's website- it has EVERYTHING. It's in his sig btw I will also vouch for Graham(cawthon)'s website. Before visiting his website, I would have never known that I missed a live event nine years ago that headlined with Bret v. Owen ....... for the WWF title ....... in a steel cage. D'oh. -
Your First Live Event
Fökai replied to A Guy Who Injects Heroin Into Kids' Eyes 's topic in The WWE Folder
Thanks to cawthon's site for the quick reference. My 1st live event - Hogan/Flair for the 22nd time...EVER. ...and here is my recap of it, as posted on this board. -
That SO better make the WrestleCrap definition this week (Look at what's currently up there) No way. It's not going to beat out the Bisch/Linda Soap Opera angle, though I'm damn certain that it will make the mailbag. The individual gimmicks of Freddy and Jason were inducted into Wrestlecrap last week - it'd make sense if RD recognized continuity and posted this assault as the definition.
-
Your answer? The guys down there aren't so "vanilla" and indistinguishable. It's when they make their transition to the WWE, when they have to conform to what Vince demands - yet most of the WWE folder will bitch that Orlando Jordan and Doug Basham are far too boring in a WWE ring.
-
He's injured right now. Scheduled day off? Same may apply to Hurricane, Rosey, Val and Dreamer, if you care.
-
Jericho does interview segments on the house show circuit. The card certainly doesn't imply that he WILL or WON'T be there.
-
In Your House III, September 1995? I think he's referring to if Angle can accomplish this.
