Downhome Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 I found a DVD that I've been looking for for over a year now. At a run down pawn shop in Greenville, SC I found the Widescreen Special Edition of Short Circuit. It's OOP and goes for anywhere between $25 and $50 on eBay, when you can even FIND it on eBay. I haven't seen any of them up for auction in about a month or so, so it's pretty rare. I picked it up at the pawn shop for $9, woohoo! I also got a few other good deals over the past few days. 1) Disney Treasures: The Complete Goofy Tin (Traded a few DVDs that I really could care less about for it.) 2) Bride of Re-Animator: Pioneer Special Edition (OOP, got it for $15.) 3) Naked Lunch: Criterion Collection (Picked this one up from someone for $18.)

Also managed to get my hands on Turner And Hooch for £6.99, which is awesome, due to it being my favourite film ever.

DCMaximo Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 In a "buy 2 filmd for £10 offer", I got Mountain Of The Cannibal God (starring Ursula Andress and Mike Hammer-star Stacy Keach in an awesome looking horror film- the trailer itself featured two blood-fueled deaths) and Class Of Nuke'em High, which I've wanted for years, ever since I fell asleep watching the final half hour of it when I was 15.
