Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted August 15, 2003 Report Posted August 15, 2003 Just read something on 411wrestling.com that Bobby Heenan, who has been battling cancer over the past couple of years, has officially been declared "cancer free" by doctors. Very good to hear.
LaParkaYourCar Posted August 15, 2003 Report Posted August 15, 2003 If this is true then this is awesome news!
Youth N Asia Posted August 15, 2003 Report Posted August 15, 2003 That's great news. Bobby seems like a real good guy. I'm happy for him
The Czech Republic Posted August 15, 2003 Report Posted August 15, 2003 What a relief. This news made my day.
Hank Kingsley Posted August 15, 2003 Report Posted August 15, 2003 Thank God. Excellent, excellent news.
MillenniumMan831 Posted August 15, 2003 Report Posted August 15, 2003 God bless Bobby Heenan . . . Good news indeed!
The Kid Posted August 15, 2003 Report Posted August 15, 2003 Thats awesome, glad he's pulled through that for now. Come on Bobby, manage again!
Guest Dmann2000 Posted August 15, 2003 Report Posted August 15, 2003 I was so afraid when I saw the thread say Bobby Heenan under General Wrestling it would say R.I.P Thank God it's good news for a change
Zetterberg is God Posted August 15, 2003 Report Posted August 15, 2003 Great to hear. It would be awesome if he was at Wrestle-Mania XX.
WrestlingDeacon Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 I want Bobby back commentating. It's wonderful to hear he is doing well and has won his battle against cancer.
The Czech Republic Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 I want Bobby back commentating. It's wonderful to hear he is doing well and has won his battle against cancer. Vince, Jesse, and Heenan as the WWF Announce Table All-Stars for WMXX. Too bad Piper fucked up.
JHawk Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 It's been a long time since anything in professional wrestling made me mark out. Thank God this was it.
Guest The Notorious CRD Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 I'm definitely glad to hear that Bobby Heenan's doing well. I too would love to see him do at least a guest commentating spot at Wrestlemania XX!
SteakGrowsOnUecker Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 This is the best news I heard all day. Bobby Heenan is the best! He's a living legend. This is awesome news!
Guest Choken One Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 I would love to see the WWE all Star Announce Cast for WMXX Too bad Gorilla won't be there
The Czech Republic Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 I don't think there's a fan out there who isn't happy about this.
The Kid Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 Well duh CR, you think people were waiting for Heenan to die or something? Captain Obvious.
JHawk Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 Who knows, AM? There are some sick people out there. Hopefully none of them are going to this message board anytime soon. Once again, great news. Now have Bobby co-host Confidential with Mean Gene!
AndrewTS Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 Heenan! Heenan! Heenan!! I was cracking up over that list of Heenan quotes linked at the Wrestlecrap mailbag just the other day. Glad to hear he's better now. Is there a chance his voice can recover now? I'd actually watch Raw again if he took King's place.
AndrewTS Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 JR: We'll take you backstage where the Coach is waiting.... Heenan: Who?!
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 Don't be silly. Heenan would immediately recognize the coach as John Tolos.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 Brillaint news. I'm happy for Heenan especially sicne I just finished his book. Good read btw and he seems like a genuinely great guy. Add him to Confidential with Gene and I become a watcher.
Mecha Mummy Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 I would love to see Heenan, at the very least, have a weekly segment on Confidential. Heenan rules and I'm happy to hear this news.
Steviekick Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 Put Heenan on Confidential in a couple months so he can get his strength/voice back, and it's can't miss. I'm glad he's beat cancer.
MillenniumMan831 Posted August 16, 2003 Report Posted August 16, 2003 It'd be great to see Okerlund and Heenan bantering to each other about nothing in particular. Only if to see Okerlund make a few valid points, throw it to Heenan, and have him reply with one of his patented, "Talkin to me?" They really should just dump Confidential and rename it From the Vault, and just show classic matches/interviews/highlights and maybe get a word with some of the guys involved in the 1970s-1990s era (Bob Orton, Snuka, ect.).
The Czech Republic Posted August 17, 2003 Report Posted August 17, 2003 They really should just dump Confidential and rename it From the Vault, and just show classic matches/interviews/highlights and maybe get a word with some of the guys involved in the 1970s-1990s era (Bob Orton, Snuka, ect.). Easily. I don't care about Bradshaw's exploits out of the ring, or what Booker T's house looks like.
