BoboBrazil 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2003 Dave reports in the new Observer that WWE creative has been told that HHH is to be considered "done until January". Dave says the plan is for him to only work sporadic, isolated shows, and that it appears that the plan for him to win the title back will be moved from Survivor Series to Royal Rumble. As Dave notes, though, any long-term planning is subject to change. -someone from a1wrestling's forum

{''({o..o})''} 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 Love or hate HHH, he has been working injured about as injured as possible. As long as he doen't put on another 30 pounds of muscle before he comes back, he should be in the best shape hes been in years. Now if only we can get all the McMahons to go with him. Guest TheGame2705 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 Angle gets all the respect in the world for working injured at Wrestlemania when his injury took a month to heal. Triple H finishes a match and is put in a submission hold after tearing his quad which leaves him out for 7 months. He's been working with groin injuries, recurring pain from the quad tear, hematomas, and is probably feeling the after effects of his hurt larynx since about December of last year from that sloppy fuck RVD, and he gets shit on. He's doing this to entertain you guys as well and because he likes it. That's more than you can say for Rock or Goldberg or Nash. It's just asinine to wish injury on anyone, nevermind someone who's doing a job for your benefit. According to everyone, he has so much pull and everything in the back so I'm sure if he didn't like doing this he could pull a Nash from WCW, and just work whenever he feels like it. Some of you are so ungrateful and are all "OMG RAW SUX BEHHHH BEHHH" to even realize what you're saying sometimes. If you don't like HHH stop watching him and get back to your OMG SO COOL TNA. Don't like him, don't like the extracuricular shit, but I do respect his toughness and dedication.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 "Angle gets all the respect in the world for working injured at Wrestlemania when his injury took a month to heal. " An injury that could have caused him paralysis or death, and then had an experimental new sort of surgery so he could come back as soon as possible. "It's just asinine to wish injury on anyone, nevermind someone who's doing a job for your benefit. " He doesn't have to do it on my account. By all means retire, Trips. When you get married you're going to be able to inherit what is left of the company after Vince is done with it. "Some of you are so ungrateful and are all "OMG RAW SUX BEHHHH BEHHH" to even realize what you're saying sometimes. If you don't like HHH stop watching him and get back to your OMG SO COOL TNA." HHH isn't why Raw sucks, but he was a substantial factor. His future wife's writing will remain a HUGE factor. However, Raw minus Trips will be an interesting situation next Monday. He's done nothing for me to be grateful for. Wow, what dedication to stay on Raw so he can keep his spot and bury all the Raw talent. That deserves applause. Highland 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 So do I. Yes I do hate the backstage politics, but he's not the only wrestler that has or is doing that, but I have a GREAT deal of respect for him as a performer, he's willing to bust his ass night in and night out, even at house shows, despite the fact he really doesn't have to. I do hope he loses some of the bulk when he returns, though.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 Angle had been wrestling with the injuries for several months as well. Remember he also had a bad knee too. However, after Mania he was able to get the surgery. He stuck with it so he could job to Lesnar at Mania.

That's true I admit but that doesn't take away from the fact that Triple H gets wished more injuries while everyone is crying that Angle got seriously injured. That's because we like Angle and not Trips, and Trips' injuries aren't life-threatening. And unlike some one like Hogan, injuries are about the only way that we can avoid Trips completely. Although that changes now with the movies.

Tawren 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 On a semi-unrelated note, does anybody know who the last person to eliminate HHH from a Royal Rumble was? Doesn't look like anyones getting that rub in 2004... His last elimination was by SCSA in 99. But to be fair, he has only wrestled in one Rumble since then, the 2002 one which he won. Steviekick 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2003 They should at least have the sense to reasonably write him out of Raw, his dissappearance is totally going to kill the Evolution thing, especially Orton. It's gonna take a whole lot more than hanging out with Flair to get him over.
