SamoaRowe Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 I just got home, missed the entire show, have no clue what happened aside from Henry/Goldberg, and I sure do sound disgusted.
razazteca Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 Only thing worth watching is the Jericho & Christian vs Storm & RVD.
SamoaRowe Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 Only thing worth watching is the Jericho & Christian vs Storm & RVD. Hmmm, yesh. I had no idea a match that interesting would make it on the show.
BifEverchad Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 That Goldberg/Henry match wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was. Matter of fact, Henry kind of impressed me. Although the crowd really wanted a clean finish..... Â Â BTW, Shane should be in jail next week. Or on "house arrest" while traveling to different cities everyday. How in God's name did Mark Henry impress you? Â I'd honestly like to know.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 Wait wait wait wait wait... Â They DIDN'T job Mark Henry clean? Â The match DIDN'T last under one minute? Â That's probably the most ass-backwards, head-spinning, mind-boggling booking I've seen from RAW in months. It's stuff like this that justifies me not "giving RAW a chance". Â On another note, Lance Storm should receive the Humanitarian of the Year award for taking Steve Austin's beating. Was Goldust even mentioned?
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 Well c'mon guys, can Goldberg lift Cars and bend Bars? Yeah, exactly - shut up.
MillenniumMan831 Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 Well c'mon guys, can Goldberg lift Cars and bend Bars? Yeah, exactly - shut up. Plus, Mark Henry has the experience advantage. And as Monsoon would say, "There's no substitute for experience."

His movement was very well and the moves were executed well. I felt the match was paced great also, it made Henry seem like a serious threat. The "good guy" was really in peril.

He wasn't "squashed," and he made out looking like a semi-legit threat.
Guest JMA Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 I'm not a Goldberg fan by any means. But I have to say, I enjoyed Henry/Goldberg more than Gail/Lita.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 It's amazing how they protected Mark Henry more than Goldberg in that match. By "amazing" I mean "horrendously stupid", and by that I mean "typical of the WWE"
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 Well, Mark Henry is obviously the future of the company. Â And that future is in hell. Â Entertaining baseball game and an absolutely incredible finish to the football game, sorry for you kids who just can't give up the WrestleCrap and watched RAW instead. Â
Lord of The Curry Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 Bill Goldberg's career just died tonight during the tag match between RVD and Storm vs JeriChristian. JR opened his mouth and said the following: Â "Well, Mark Henry is stronger then Bill Goldberg, no doubt about that." Â D-E-A-D.
Guest thrall585 Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 I REALLY hope Nash remains face and challenges Mark Henry to a match. Imagine that, Mark Henry vs Kevin Nash. That is pure entertainment.
Guest neodragonsan Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 I REALLY hope Nash remains face and challenges Mark Henry to a match. Imagine that, Mark Henry vs Kevin Nash. That is pure entertainment. Is that when you hope that the ring suddenly implodes, sucking Kevin Nash and Mark Henry into another dimension, never to be seen again?
iggymcfly Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 OK. There is not one thing on Raw that makes it worth watching right now. Pretty much every match was a star facing a jobber, there wasn't one interesting storyline, and the only real feud consists of Shane and Kane killing each other one week and then no-selling it the next week. I could totally see myself quitting the WWE right now, at least for a few months.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 I still can't get over how Mark Henry owned Goldberg tonight.
slimm44 Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 so what's it gonna be next week? Goldberg and Michaels vs. Mack and Henry? or Michaels vs. Goldberg. If it's the tag match I would look for Jazz to interfere. How funny would that be to see Jazz try o take out Goldberg. LOL
humongous2002 Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 How long will it take till the WWE starts putting out shows from the Hamjmerstein ballroom or a bingo hall?
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 my WM XX prediction  Mark Henry defeats Randy Orton to win the WWE Title  After the match, HHH returns from his honeymoon and pins Mark Henry in 8 seconds to win the WWE Title.
cabbageboy Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 You all act like this stuff hasn't ever happened. I can think of a time when Nash had the title and was defending against a talentless fat black guy (Mabel). Â I'm utterly bewildered at the main event tonight. Some people are probably more disgusted by the Shane/Kane thing but that has become a standard crazy angle and I don't blink. With the main event, I mean good god how hard is it to grasp that Mark Henry is just the sort of musclebound fat fuck that Goldberg can squash without jobbing out actual talent?
Murmuring Beast Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 Henry as champion? It could happen!! Â Â No wait, it couldn't.
Crimson Platypus Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 I'd much rather Goldberg win without squashing people. Makes everyone look better yadda yadda.. Goldberg was the reason I stopped watching WCW. None of the other nonsense could have driven me away like the champ beating everyone in 30seconds, yelling, and then leaving. Â God I hate Goldberg.
Highland Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 -Begin Goldberg praise- Â At least it all set up a feud between HBK and Goldberb. I know I marked when he got speared, and I thought it was very smart of him to just look down at HBK while he was laying on the mat instead of helping him out. It really plays well into the whole bounty angle and he is really playing the part of a marked man who can depend only on himself and trust no one. Â -Goldberg praise over-
Guest Trivia247 Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 Goldberg praise.... Â (Heres the distance Crickets) Â Goldberg praise ends
haVoc Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 On another note, Lance Storm should receive the Humanitarian of the Year award for taking Steve Austin's beating. Was Goldust even mentioned? Yeah, what is the deal with that? Austin's didn't do shit. Where is Goldust's credit?

Too conservative. I say six seconds to set the all-time record.

-Goldberg praise over- Goldberg pinned HBK clean with a spear and jackhammer at SummerSlam. Have Goldie feud with somebody he hasn't already beaten.
haVoc Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 Is there anyone on Raw he hasn't beat who is worth a damn?
