The Decemberists 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 I'm almost sure that this has been done before, but I'm going to start a thread on it anyway. So what's your musical guilty pleasure? Mine would have to be Status Quo. Being generally into Morrissey type jingly jangly indie rubbish and pretentious (spelling?) prog rock the Quo aren't I band I should like, but God they're great. I saw them on Sunday night and it was (apart from Morrissey) the best gig I've been at. I will take the shame of Quo to my grave

notJames 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2003 Hanson. Seriously. I think I trumped all of you. Even all you Top 40 listeners out there. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. (P.S. Nothing wrong with being a Depeche Mode fan. '80s New Wave and Brit Pop paved the way for all the kick ass music of the early- to mid-'90s.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2003 I like one Hanson song. The famous one. And I love 80s New Wave and feel no shame.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted November 12, 2003 Depeche Mode rules all. There's nothing wrong with Depeche Mode whatsoever...or any New Wave shit....or any 80's music for that matter. And Phil Collins is my biggest guilty pleasure, and everyone agrees. Remember the thread were I asked which "In Too Deep" song was better between his and Sum 41? Phil won in a landslide.
