I always come back to- "and when the night is cloudy there is still a light that shines on me Shine until tomorrow, Let it Be i could swear that when i watched the anthology on tv back in 95, they showed a version with paul singing: "i wake up to the sound of music, mother mary comes to me there will be no sorrow, let it be" at the end of that verse. now, this to me sounds infinitely cooler than "i wake up to the sound of music, mother mary comes to me speaking words of wisdom, let it be" because a) it actually rhymes, and b) it's not something that he already said in the first verse.
