Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2003 ...I really think those portray a very simple love, which is the best kind. I was going to make a joke about the movie The Other Sister here, but I couldn't really come up with a good one. I encourage others to try in the stead of my failure. The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2003 Some have already been mentioned, but they're my favorites anyway: Every Breath You Take - The Police (greatest song ever) Um, that's not a love song, dude. That's a song about a stalker. Dude, whatever it is, it's a ripoff of Puffy. I'd be pissed if I were him. (EDIT: It was sarcasm. Please don't kill me.) SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 Top Ten Love Songs? I'm not even sure there are ten love songs that I even like... 1) "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds 2) "Stand Inside Your Love" by Smashing Pumpkins 3) "Telephone Line" by Electric Light Orchestra 4) "Do You Realize" by The Flaming Lips 5) "I Will Remember You" by Sarah McLachlin 6) "The Scientist" by Coldplay 7) "Hanging By a Moment" by Lifehouse 8) "Burning For You" by Blue Oyster Cult 9) "Falling For You" by Weezer 10) "Here With Me" by Dido Yes, many of these are not really traditional love songs. It's just that your average love song infuriates the living piss out of me.

SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 That's my problem... I don't listen to soul/hip-hop/r+B....
Perfxion 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 I wouldn't call NKOTB soul or RnB but they can sing well when in a range(same for J-Lo and Britney) and when they have a good song in front of them. They will make it sound very good. Other genres turn out good love songs as well, it is just that I wouldn't know many by name. Unless I got the tracklisting of Monster Ballads or something. C Dubya 04 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Springsteen's version of "Jersey Girl" has got to be near the top of my list. Also, Gov't Mule's "Painted Silver Light" is a different style love song. Losing My Religion by REM is also a love song that I like.

Has a real catchy riff. I reccomend! Brooklyn Bridge "The Worst That Could Happen" An oldie! (forgot the artist) "Give Me Just a Little More Time" Another oldie!
