Available early March

Running Order:

Now it can be told!

In 1995, two wrestling companies squared off on Monday night television to compete head to head in an unprecedented confrontation.

On one side, Vince McMahon, the promotor who created WWE and made the industry what it is today.

On the other, WCW, owned by media giant Ted Turner, and run by an ambitious man named Eric Bischoff.

This is the whole story, told by those who created it, lived it, and survived it. The Monday Night War!

DVD Extras:

86 minutes of the matches and events that changed the face of sports-entertainment.

Two matches from RAW:

- Stone Cold Steve Austin & Shawn Michaels vs. British Bulldog & Owen Hart

- Shawn Michaels & Triple H vs. Legion of Doom

Two matches from NITRO:

- Chris Benoit vs. Booker T

- Goldberg vs. Hulk Hogan

Plus more!

So we finally get Austin/Michaels v Bulldog/Owen on DVD! If they release all the Wrestlemania's and Royal Rumble's etc on DVD I am going to be extremely happy!

Question is, are they going to release the old WWF PPV's on DVD here in the US? Seems like those would sell really well over here . . I don't have any desire to have them all, but getting shows like WrestleMania 3, 8, 10, SummerSlam '91, Survivor Series '87, and so forth would be bad-ass . . . .

This is all the more incentive to pick up a multi-region DVD player and I'm actually going out searching for one in a couple of hours. I've wanted one, but this is the icing on the cake.

So why is it, 15 years later, that we still completely ignore the Haku-Harley Race match from the 1989 Royal Rumble? It was actually a decent match (certainly better than pretty much anything from the 90 show except the Rumble itself), and yet it's never been released commercially.

So those extras that Scott Keith reported for the MNW DVD turned out to be total crap, unless they turn out to be the main feature. The question is is this a 2 or a single DVD set? Single more than likely with the extras announced. They should release some info on the main feature, dammit!

Austin/HBK vs Bulldog/Owen (best RAW match EVER, IMO)

This is worth buying just for this match.

As for the WM and RR releases, I find it pretty cool and all, but unless they're also planning on releasing them in the US then there's nothing I can do, since I have no multi-region player.

Wrestlemania 1 and 2 Double DVD

Does that mean both shows on one double-sided disk?

Or does it mean 2 DVD's in one package?

Either way, I'm marking the fuck out. Thank you WWE :headbang:

I'm sure footage with all the announcers saying "King of the WWF" a bazillion times wouldn't be wise to release these days.

The backgrounds of the Mania discs are the same, which would suggest a future box-set release.

Unless I'm mistaken, those are all the covers they used for the PAL video releases of each title. In other words, don't get your hopes up (AGAIN) about a Wrestlemania Box Set.

i still cant believe that the wwe isnt utilizing the video library fully...so many awesome dvds could be made. they could probably even use all the old wwf stuff if they just cut the wildlife people a percentage of the sales or somethin.

WWE has been doing good in that department of old footage.

Shawn Michaels: From The Vault

Blood Baths DVD

Ultimate Ric Flair Collection

Mick Foleys Greatest Hits and Misses

The soon to be released Rise and Fall of WCW

I'm just begging for them to release the old PPV''s too though.

The rereleasing of old PPVs will be a freaking goldmine for WWE. The hell with low ratings and slumping ticket sales, they'll make up all of their losses through their DVD division.

That is awesome! But uh...which Booker / Benoit match might it be?

You realize that now ALL WMs could FINALLY be released on DVD, just like we've wanted for years!

Well, if you didn't get 15, 16, 17, and 18, you're screwed.

I wonder why they used a 1989ish pic of Hogan for WrestleMania I.

They cut out Mr. T!!! That's fucked up!

Holy shit, I just noticed something:

WTC001.jpg

Look at that number on the box - 12

WTC002.jpg

Look at that number on the box - 15

Could WWE be planning to release all the old Colliseum videos as one giant DVD set?

Yes, that's why they started out with 12 and then jumped to 15, ignoring everything else.

And MarkMe123, could you for the love of god 86 at least one of those totally random pictures? They're fucking with my browser.
