Guest Deviant Report post Posted April 14, 2004 If I am looking forward to anything on SD, it has to be God's vignette. I'm always a mark for WWE's production team and the vignettes.
PLAGIARISM! 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Hurrah! I always mark out when Show kills someone. He chokeslammed Hogan out of WWE, you know. I don't care what happens on smackdown anymore. This is funny. Kurt Angle is clearly DEAD, tazz! Dat's awesome!
deancoles 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 What happened to Nunzio's Title shot against Chavo?
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Judging by the serious drugs the writing team had to be on to produce this show, i'd say they've probably just forgotten about it. Or maybe they'll just have Nunzio show up with the belt next week, just like the Dudleys evidently are now the Tag Champs.

Guest glennsoe Report post Posted April 14, 2004 The video clip for the new wrestler, Mordecai, with the tag line "the day of reckoning is coming" appears to be another OVW wrestler. The video only showed him from behind and he was wearing a hooded robe in a lot of scenes with candle lighting. At one point, they do an extreme closeup of one eye and eyebrow, and just going by what I saw, I'd say it is most likely Kevin Fertig. credit; pwinsider.com

AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 When Torrie ends the show, BAD things happen. Remember that god-awful lesbian tease a couple of years ago. Bad things have been happening. However, they just showed they could make the show worse. This shouldn't even be an issue since Kurt Angle should have fired Torrie for her flagrant immoral behavior when he took control as GM. I'm almost tempted to watch just to see Torrie's terrible acting when Kurt gets killed. Well...at least Show's getting pushed...why the hell is JBL still getting the PPV match, though? BoboBrazil 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 The new Mordecai character will be Kevin Fertig, who was Seven in OVW and has recently been working house shows for WWE. As of right now, the plan is for Kurt Angle to remain the GM on Smackdown, despite what happened at the taping last night. I will be doing a later hotline today where I talk about how people within the company feel about Angle in the GM's role. pwinsider.com I was right
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Wow. Weirdest spoilers ever. I thought they were fake at first, too. Jindrak as the new Narcissist? Fine by me. At least they're doing SOMETHING with him. But they really ARE going back to 1993 with all the gimmicks they're bringing in these days, aren't they? Mordecai? Sounds fine to me. Dudleys as tag champs? Either a mistake, or maybe they'll shoot an angle where the Duds steal the tag belts or something? EDIT: And maybe the Kurt thing is to let Big Show get suspended, and take time off for the knees. Kurt is replaced for a week or two on the show by Vince. Then Taker comes back to get revenge on Vince for Survivor Series, and we get Taker vs. Vince in a casket match or something like that for JD. Just a thought.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 if it isn't fake, then it proves Smackdown is definately sinking lower and lower in the drama scale.
EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 $10 says Mordecai is Seven from OVW who recently died his hair extremely bleach blonde to the point it is almost white. so that means..... FERTIG~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~! Well at least they are starting to give the new wrestlers gimmicks, outfits, etc instead of just throwing them out there with nothing as cept plan white wrestler #14 or plain hoss #78. Crippler Crossface 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 While I must applaud the WWE's efforts to establish new gimmicks for workers like Jindrak and Fertig....I am totally lost in the booking part of it. Will this be the worst Smackdown ever? I can't think of one that was this bad...
Vyce 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 They'll probably just have Angle show up next week like nothing happened, it's not like they haven't no-sold death before. How exactly do you no-sell death? It's not like Austin crushing HHH in his car or something, Angle is supposed to be throw off a building, that's not really something that's easy too explain. Although, when I think about it, Big Show was thrown off the top of a building in WCW and wrestled later that night, compared to that, Angle should be fine. I mean he's got a whole week to recover, right? It's not a building, more like a second floor landing. Think Kane and Steph before Mania XVII. What I'm absolutely positive will happen is that, much like when Shane McMahon nearly committed vehicular manslaughter with Kane last fall, absolutely NOTHING will be done to indicate that Big Show has, say, the slightest problem from the po-lice, even though he grievously injured (if not attempted to murder) another human being. *sigh* You know, one can only suspend disbelief / reality SO FAR....and then it just becomes retarded. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 As long as Jim Ross isn't set on fire, I'm happy. That was the more entertaining part of Raw during that period. Hell, if something like that happened to Cole, who would complain?

King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 TAG, .:Cue canned sitcom laughter:. As of right now, the plan is for Kurt Angle to remain the GM on Smackdown, despite what happened at the taping last night. A dead GM. That should be interesting. Booker: Yo, Angle, I want a title shot at Judgement Day. *Angle lays motionless on a couch* Booker: What's dat'...you say yeah...I can Dig That...SUCKAAAAAAA!!! *Angle lays motionless on couch* Rinse-repeat with everyone on the Smackdown roster, leading to the first ever 40 way dance. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 Obviously, they plan to do a Dallas opening next week on Smackdown where Dawn Marie wakes up in bed and finds Kurt showering with a big ass smile on his face.
