Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 Below is the "final" card for Bad Blood. I think they'll most likely add another match on Heat as filler, but it will probably be something bad. WWE-World Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Benoit © vs. Kane Hell In A Cell Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H WWE-Intercontinental Championship Match: Randy Orton © vs. Shelton Benjamin WWE-Tag Team Championship Match: La Resistance © vs. Chris Benoit & Edge WWE-Womens Championship Match: Victoria © vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko Eugene vs. Jonathon Coachman ----------- My Predictions: WWE-World Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Benoit © vs. Kane Predicted Winner: Chris Benoit. I honestly don't see WWE giving Kane the title, since it will only be a short one day reign. Desired Winner: None. I like both men, so I'm on the fence. Predicted Match Rating: ***. From reports of house shows, this has a chance to be very good. Kane CAN go if he's motivated (A World Title match on PPV?) and when against a good worker, and this is the situation. Hell In A Cell Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H Predicted Winner: Triple H. I don't see HHH losing ANOTHER Feud, plus the fact Shawn Michaels record against Triple H is a lot better (the only decisive win HHH has was a pinfall I think at Armageddon 2002. The other fall was a ladder match). Desired Winner: Triple H. He keeps jobbing he'll be on Heat duty. Predicted Match Rating: **** These guys can have great matches with each other. As long as it's not a remake of the 2004 Rumble match they had, this will probably be MOTN. WWE-Intercontinental Championship Match: Randy Orton © vs. Shelton Benjamin Predicted Winner: Shelton Benjamin. I think it's time to give him a chance to hold some gold here. He's been somewhat pushed since the Draft, but nothing concrete enough. Desired Winner: Shelton Benjamin Predicted Match Rating: **1/2 It will probably be full of rest-holds, so I don't thi k they can break the 3-star barrier considering their RAW match last week. WWE-Tag Team Championship Match: La Resistance © vs. Chris Benoit & Edge Predicted Winners: La Resistance. Benoit & Edge are doing the break-up into a feud tease, so winning the titles BACK should not happen. Desired Winners: La Resistance Predicted Match Rating: *** I know this sounds high, but remember, they had a pretty good match on RAW last week, and Conway/Benoit can carry the load of the match. I have faith in this one. WWE-Womens Championship Match: Victoria © vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus Predicted Winner: Gail Kim Desired Winner: Don't Care Predicted Match Rating: DUD. 4-Way Women Matches suck more than singles matches. Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko Predicted Winner: Tyson Tomko. You just KNOW this will happen. Desired Winner: Chris Jericho PRedicted Match RatinG: * Tops. Tomko looks green as grass, and Jericho is no longer a miracle worker. Eugene vs. Jonathon Coachman Predicted Winner: Eugene. I can see Regal "accidentally" helping him win. Desired Winner: Eugene Predicted Match Rating: * Overall: The under-card looks a little weak, but who orders the show for them anyway? I think this PPV will smoke everything on Judgment Day, but that's simply speculation for now.
Guest Choken One Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 Choken One Gets drunk and tries to make the HIAC a Triple Threat Match.
geniusMoment Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 My prediction for Sunday is: I watch Griffey nail 500 in Cleveland and say fuck you to the WWE as I do not waste my money on this crappy ppv.
AlaskanHero Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 I don't feel like explaining my choices so I'm just gonna put who I think is going to win. The winner's name will be bolded. WWE-World Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Benoit © vs. Kane Hell In A Cell Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H WWE-Intercontinental Championship Match: Randy Orton © vs. Shelton Benjamin WWE-Tag Team Championship Match: La Resistance © vs. Chris Benoit & Edge WWE-Womens Championship Match: Victoria © vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko Eugene vs. Jonathon Coachman I wouldn't be surprised if the Michaels/HHH match ended in a draw. A win for either won't make sense, because they're both going to be off T.V for a while.
Dark Age Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 Hell In A Cell Match: Triple H vs Shawn Michaels Prediction: Triple H Match Rating: ****ish IF they go all out World Heavyweight Championship Chris Benoit vs Kane Prediction: Chris Benoit Match Rating: Depends. I think they WILL pull it off and get a good match out of this, but Kane needs to be game, and Benoit is going to have to do alot of work. Hopefully ***ish Intercontinental Championship Randy Orton vs Shelton Benjamin Prediction: Randy Orton Match Rating: ** - *** at best. The matches between these two will get better as they go along I think. World Tag Team Championship Rob Conway and Sylvain Grenier vs Chris Benoit and Edge Prediction: Rob Conway and Sylvain Grenier Match Rating: **1/2 - *** Womens Championship Victoria vs Trish vs Gail Kim vs Lita Prediction: Trish Match Rating: DUD - * Chris Jericho vs Tyson Tomko Prediction: Chris Jericho Match Rating: DUD (Tomko is horrible) Eugene Dinsmore vs Jonathan Coachman Prediction: Eugene Dinsmore Match Rating: * at best, but the match quality doesn't really matter here.
Gert T Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 Choken One Gets drunk and tries to make the HIAC a Triple Threat Match. Choken, if they start to double team you, I'll come down from Section C3. I got: Benoit HHH Orton La Resistance Victoria Eugene Jericho by DQ
Lil' Bitch Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 Benoit via submission HHH Shelton La Resistance Victoria Eugene Jericho via submission
DMann2003 Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 My predictions- I don't care, just get to Columbus on time and have a good time.... And watch Choken One & Gert T make drunken fools of themselves :-D
Guest Sturgis Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 Beniot HHH Shelton La Resistance Lita Eugene Jericho
clean rob Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 WWE-World Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Benoit © vs. Kane - When was the last good Kane match? If this makes *** they should give Benoit a 12-month reign minimum. Hell In A Cell Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H - Surely they can't get any higher up the 'blow-off to the feud' scale than HIAC. Hence it is the last match in the feud and hence HHH wins, movie or not. WWE-Intercontinental Championship Match: Randy Orton © vs. Shelton Benjamin - Shelton's beat Orton twice recently, a third time seems unlikely. Let Shelton win the SS rematch instead. WWE-Tag Team Championship Match: La Resistance © vs. Chris Benoit & Edge - Surely they're doing the tried-and-true tag team break-up thing... one of Edge/Benoit gets pissed off the other cost them the match, feud ensues. WWE-Womens Championship Match: Victoria © vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus - Christian's off for a bit, give Trish something else to keep her character in the spotlight. Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko - Jericho needs to start getting some momentum if he's getting a title shot anytime soon (fingers crossed). What little I have seen of Tomko is all suck. Eugene vs. Jonathon Coachman - Via cheating/interference, naturally.
CanadianChick Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 WWE-World Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Benoit © vs. Kane Prediction: Benoit Prefered Winner: Benoit Hell In A Cell Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H Prediction: Triple H Prefered Winner: Triple H WWE-Intercontinental Championship Match: Randy Orton © vs. Shelton Benjamin Prediction: Orton Prefered Winner: Benjamin WWE-Tag Team Championship Match: La Resistance © vs. Chris Benoit & Edge Prediction: La Resistance Prefered Winner: La Resistance WWE-Womens Championship Match: Victoria © vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus Prediction: Lita Prefered Winner: Anyone but Lita. Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko Prediction: Jericho Prefered Winner: Jericho Eugene vs. Jonathon Coachman Prediction: Eugene Prefered Winner: Eugene
Guest Askewniverse Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 World Heavyweight Title Match Chris Benoit vs. Kane Predicted winner: Chris Benoit Desired winner: Chris Benoit Hell in a Cell Match Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H Predicted winner: Shawn Michaels Desired winner: Triple H Intercontinental Title Match Randy Orton vs. Shelton Benjamin Predicted winner: Randy Orton Desired winner: Randy Orton World Tag Team Title Match La Resistance vs. Chris Benoit & Edge Predicted winner: La Resistance Desired winner: La Resistance Women's Title Match Victoria vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus Predicted winner: Lita Desired winner: don't care Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko Predicted winner: Chris Jericho Desired winner: Chris Jericho Eugene vs. The Coach Predicted winner: Eugene Desired winner: Eugene Somewhat related, but WWE has raised the price of their PPV webcasts. The webcast for Bad Blood is going to be $34.95.
Aero Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 This is also my predicted order of matches... Tag Titles La Resistance vs. Benoit & Edge No way Benoit & Edge regain the belts. The whole storyline is them splitting and then feuding. Not only will it give La Rez more of a rub by winning again, but it'll add to the World Title match later by giving Kane the advantage of having only one match. Benoit screws up this time, causing an Edge turn. Prediction: La Rez Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko I'm not particuarly interested in this Trish feud any more. Tomko still looks bad, and Jericho won't be able to carry him to a good match. I predict Jericho wins and moves into the World Title scene by Summerslam. Prediction: Jericho Eugene vs. The Coach Eugene is getting the newcomer push still, so he wins. Prediction: Eugene Intercontinental Title Randy Orton vs. Shelton Benjamin I would love to see Benjamin get the win, but I've had the feeling all along that Orton gets the cheap win here and they continue the feud all the way to Summerslam, where Benjamin gets the title in a 2/3 Falls match. That's how I'd do it, anyway. The IC Title has actually looked important lately, and either of these guys holding it will add to it. Prediction: Orton Hell in a Cell HHH vs. HBK That's right, the World Title match goes on last. These two go at it for maybe 30-40 minutes, and each does their bladejobs. And they will end up on top of the cage. I was ready to pick HHH, but after thinking about it, ever since the feud restarted in December, HBK has yet to really gain the upper hand, except for costing HHH the battle royal. I'll pick HBK to win, and HHH can go to Hollywood or whatever he's doing. Prediction: HBK Women's Title Victoria vs. Lita vs. Gail Kim vs. Trish I would've picked Victoria originally, but there's got to be some good reason for making it a 4-Way. I'll pick Lita, only because it seems Trish is still busy with Jericho/Christian. Prediction: Lita World Title Chris Benoit vs. Kane No doubt in my mind, Benoit wins, and then he moves onto Edge for Vengeance. Despite hardly having any build, I think Benoit can carry Kane to a good match, so I am interested in seeing it. Kane will tap out. Prediction: Benoit
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 HAHA! Now I expect DOUBLE the begging for a free password to the webcast.
King Cucaracha Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 Bold prediction- SWF 13th Hour will be SO much better than this. Not to mention cheaper and better booked. That's the cheap plug out of the way. Benoit HHH Orton La Resistance Victoria Eugene Jericho via DQ
Blade2kxx Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 WWE-World Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Benoit © vs. Kane Predicted Winner: Chris Benoit Desired Winner: Chris Benoit Predicted Match Rating: ***. I think these two will mesh decently enough... Benoit won't have to carry AS much as poor Jericho, thus, the increase in snowflakes Hell In A Cell Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H Predicted Winner: Triple H Desired Winner: Triple H Predicted Match Rating: ****1/4. It's HHH... HBK... HIAC... DUH! WWE-Intercontinental Championship Match: Randy Orton © vs. Shelton Benjamin Predicted Winner: Randy Orton Desired Winner: Randy Orton Predicted Match Rating: **3/4. Is it just me, or does Shelton not seem as over as he should... Wait, weren't we saying the same things about young Randy about this time a year ago? WWE-Tag Team Championship Match: La Resistance © vs. Chris Benoit & Edge Predicted Winners: La Resistance Desired Winners: La Resistance Predicted Match Rating: ***. Sylvian is the only one here with MUCHO SUCK FACTOR, and the awesomeness of Benoit and Conway should overcome that. WWE-Womens Championship Match: Victoria © vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus Predicted Winner: Lita Desired Winner: Gail Kim Predicted Match Rating: DUD-*1/2. This will be a clusterfuck in all ways... if Leets wins, then it's a DUD. If Viccy wins, it's a near-dud. If Trish or Gail wins, I'll up the snowflakes. Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko Predicted Winner: Tyson Tomko Desired Winner: Chris Jericho PRedicted Match RatinG: *-*1/2. YIKES! This just LOOKS to be a disaster... why did they release Sean O'Haire again? Eugene vs. Jonathon Coachman Predicted Winner: Eugene Desired Winner: Eugene Predicted Match Rating: *. We expected a comedy match at Backlash and got a wrestling match. This seems to be even MORE of a comedy match... watch them chain wrestle like Kurt and Chris to spite the IWC.
haVoc Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 Awwwww, that's so cute the way you guys put the world title match on top like it's the most important match on the card.
SamoaRowe Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 WWE-World Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Benoit © vs. Kane Hell In A Cell Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H WWE-Intercontinental Championship Match: Randy Orton © vs. Shelton Benjamin WWE-Tag Team Championship Match: La Resistance © vs. Chris Benoit & Edge WWE-Womens Championship Match: Victoria © vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko Eugene vs. Jonathon Coachman
Gert T Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 I know Benoit doing double duty makes the odds of the title match going last, but do you really think HIAC won't be last?
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 I could careless what anyone says....the HIAC WILL be the last match.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 If history serves me right, the ONLY time a non-title HIAC match was the final match on a PPV, was the first one ever, and the World Title wasn't even defended at the PPV (IYH: Badd Blood)
SuperJerk Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 WWE-World Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Benoit © vs. Kane Hell In A Cell Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H WWE-Intercontinental Championship Match: Randy Orton © vs. Shelton Benjamin WWE-Tag Team Championship Match: La Resistance © vs. Chris Benoit & Edge WWE-Womens Championship Match: Victoria © vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko Eugene vs. Jonathon Coachman
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 Like with the JD predictions, a lot of facetitousness will be involved, and accuracy is a non-factor. The order of the matches is significant. Tag Team Title Match: -Benoit bumbles and fumbles and loses, probably cleanly, because when you break up a tag team and turn one of them heel, the face should be the bumbler... yeah. Winners and still champions: La Resistance Eugene/Coach: -Coach? Yeah right. The tard's getting one of the very best pushes in the entire company. Winner: Eugene Jericho/Tomko: -I have a hard time believing they'll job out the poor man's Batista in his first outing. Trish and possibly Christian get involved. Winner: Tyson Tomko. Intercontinental Title Match: -Shelton (whom they have to find SOMETHING better for him to portray than Talented Negro) losing on Monday may lead some to believe that he's winning on Sunday. Silly rabbit! Winner and still champion: Randy Orton World *cough cough* Championship Match: -I'll be shocked if Filler Challenger goes down without some Sportz Entertainment shenanigans to muddy it all up. Expect Matt Hardy, Lita, and Edge to run-in all to go after Kane. A surprise roll-up could possibly end it. No decisive win here! Winner and still champion: Chris Benoit Women's Title Match: Eeny-meeny-miny-mo Winner and new champion: Trish Stratus HIAC MAIN EVENT: Despite run-ins by Batista, Flair and possibly Orton, HBK wins because he's taking a break, even though HHH is the one that's going to get the title shot first. Doesn't make sense? Bah! You're not looking at the logic hard enough! HBK ends the night standing tall to show who the real top face is, despite not being the champion. Have your cake and eat it too! Winner: HBK
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 You're predicting a lot of suck....I'm sure the matches from house shows will be how the Benoit/Kane match will be...Benoit does everything he can to win after taking a shit kicking. As for HBK/HHH.....I don't see run ins for a HIAC match. Especially mass-run-ins. The only exception (headlining/PPV wise) is the first ever where Kane destroyed Taker.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 Where did I say anything about sucking? Could it be that what I'm predicting is what I WANT to happen?
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 Predicting isn't what you want, it's what you think will happen. Hopefully you're wrong, otherwise I'm gonna smash my TV in for them fucking up the two matches I want to see having clean finishes.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 And what I want is what I think will happen. Screwiness, lack of logic, nondecisiveness; this IS WWE we're talking about after all.
