LOST

The more I think about the situation the more I think that all of this Gale shit has been intentional. I refuse to believe that he just allowed himself to be captured. I'm thinking his mission was to try and turn one of the crash survivors against their own people. The question now is was he successful?

Just so you guys know, The Amazing Race (apparently the top show in the Golden Horseshoe Area) moving to 8pm Wednesday has bumped Lost from that spot on CTV. The bad news is I can't find where it's been bumped to. The good news is that we still get the ABC feed...

Well, this week it's on at 7pm...

...not sure about after that, though.

I am thinking that Henry Gale was sent to the hatch specifically to perform something in the hatch, as well as distract from the rations drop. As for what he needed to do in the hatch, my guess is that he told Locke and Jack about sending Ana-Lucia to look for his balloon, knowing that at least one of them would leave to check. This allowed only one person to be in there with him, and he KNEW about the lockdown that was scheduled. Thus, he would need to be let out, and from good luck he got to be alone with the computer.

So I'm browsing around on lostlinks.net and I found a Dharma video that basically goes over the 6 hatches and their various functions. The video also included some spoiler-ish shots of stuff on the island that we haven't seen yet. Are these vids legit? Are they being purposely leaked?

I need some elaboration, 'specially after the last vid I posted was appparently fake (which I still don't completely buy)

In the video the female scientist talked about the hatches underwater research properties and one of the first thoughts that came to my mind was Walt doing his backwards talk soaking wet with water spilling out of his mouth.

Some of the videos look pretty suspect to me.

If it's not coming from a site that's registered by ABC then I'm taking with a grain of salt. :P

Guest Evolution

New album from the artist Moneen features a song titled "Don't Ever Tell Locke What He Can't Do". Screamo stuff, but some nice guitar work. Not sure if the lyrics have much to do with Locke, but I'm sure they don't.

Okay, pick this new theory apart, or add to it as needed.

All of the hatches are connected to the center, designated by a "?" on the glowing map in Lockdown. The numbers are entered every 108 minutes to keep the tunnels locked and block off access to the center. Thinking about the Dharma symbols, and the patterns of lines in the octagon, imagine if the lines were on continuous rotation, and how at a certain point there would be an open path from the center to the outer part of the logo. Each station has different lines in the logos if I am not mistaken. In this theory, I am not pondering on why they want to keep people from going into the center. I am thinking they want to keep something in the center from coming out. That would be the devil.

Thoughts?

Oh and on lostlinks.net, do NOT read the link of the day that says, "Big Boss" in it unless you want to be spoiled MAJORLY.

eldandy, that was an April Fool's joke ... none of those major spoilers are real at all.

And SJ beat me to the punch.

I feel like a tool for believing that then.

:D

I was seriously pissed that I knew major things that were going to happen, and it was going to cheapen it when I watched it live.

EDIT: No one have anything to say one way or another about my wacky theory?

Interesting. Kind of like a combination lock? You have to rotate the bars so that the openings line up and you can get to the centre?

I don't know if I'm down with the center of the hatch-grid being the gateway to Hell, eldandy. Which, presumably, is where the devil would be residing. While there are a lot of biblical themes (e.g. the statues filled with coke, Charlie's past & Eko's present) having them have hte ability to free Satan in their hands is a bit too biblical for a prime time SciFi show. I'd be extremely disappointed if that came to fruition.

Agreed about the devil part. I'm not sure what I'd want to be at the centre, to be honest, though.

Yeah, El Dandy has a good point. Maybe they aren't all connected, but they are clearly hiding something in the middle. And something as big as a mythical creature, or even the devil, would live up to the hype. I mean, this show is going to have to end on some big high note as to what the main secret is. If it's something like gold, or a guys office who was just curious to how people would act on an island, it would piss alot of people off. Also, it could explain alot of the phenominal aspects of the island.

On going PBP:

Hurley and Blonde Chick have a moment, I don't know why cause I tuned in a minute late, but they get interrupted by everyone (Sun, Jin, Sawyer, Charlie, etc) who are all running towards the dropped supplies. Hurley is like "no, no" cause he knows what food will do to them. Hurley then sees a bald dude (actor from Sex in the City and the blatent Seinfeld) and runs after him, only to trip and find a shoe.

The blonde chick asks him about it, he says he doesn't want to talk about it, and the first flashback begins with him in the psych ward talking with a doctor about some incident that he doesn't want to talk about, then they talk about the bald dude being a negative influence. We see the bald dude playing basketball and Hurley walks up to him. The bald dude says "dude" a lot.

In the hatch, Sayid shoots Gale but Ana Lucia redirects his shot. Lockes leg is fractured and Jack suggests he uses a wheelchair, Kate says there are some crutches. Locke seems pissed Jack won't tell him what happened after the gun shot.

Charlie and Eko are building something, but Eko won't tell him what.

Hurley is chasing the bald dude, who can physically interact with the environment... maybe... he threw a rock or something at Hurley...

The bald guy doesn't seem to be interacting with anyone in the flash back, so it may be a Tyler Durden kinda thing. Dave represents the bad part of Hugo, the one that tells him to give into temptation.

The Bald Dude is Dave. The Psychiatrist takes a picture of Hugo and Dave, a polaroid, I imagine Dave won't be in that shot.

Sawyer: I have enough food to start up a mini-mart. Hey, you think Sayid wants a job?

HURLEY POUNCE!! HURLEY GROUND AND POUND.

JIN LAUGHS AT HURLEY BEATING UP SAWYER.

It was a coconut.

It was funny when Hurley was beating on Sawyer and yelling all the names Sawyer calls him back at him.

Jabba!

The incident is Hurley stepping out on a deck, which had 20+ people on it and could only hold 8, and it collapsed and people died. Hurley says it was because because he was fat. After he was near catatonic.

The doc shows him the pic, and bald dude isn't in it, and the doc tells Hurley he eats to punish himself.

Right now bald dude is helping hurley escape.
