phoenixrising Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 I just got this game again after my first one got scratched...right now I am on the "Wrong Side of the Tracks" mission - the one where you have to chase the train on the Sanchez with Big Smoke firing at the gangstas on top. Any tricks to beat this? I swear I've been through it 7 times already and still haven't passed it.

I really didn't think this mission was hard at all; I beat it the first time I tried it. I will say that "Supply Lines" is impossible though. I can kill everybody, but I can't imagine how I'd ever make it back to the roof with fuel left.
Superstring Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 Don't fly upwards unless you absolutely have to, stay close to the ground and fly direct to the vans & bikes. Helps if you've got a good aim as well.
AnonymousBroccoli Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 With "Wrong Side of the Tracks", if you ride along too close to the train, Smoke's shots will just hit the train instead of the baddies. So stay as wide as you can without running into stuff. If you do it right, you should be able to finish before you even hit the first tunnel.

Instead of riding on the right side of the tracks I drove on the area to the right of the tracks, and Smoke capped them all before the end of the first tunnel. I also did OG Loc's last two missions, and "Management Issues" is hilarious. I'll probably work on Taxi, Firefighter, Ambulance and the courier missions before I finish up Los Santos.

Yeah, or put them off for later. Firefighter and Ambulance will come first (fireproof, increased health I think for Ambulance, not sure if there is infinite run in the game). Finished Taxi, but not before having my greatest GTA: SA moment to date. I was driving on the freeway trying to find a Pay and Spray for repairs, but I jumped over to the wrong lane and oncoming traffic. I got hit under a bridge and the taxi caught fire. I got away but watched car after car slam into the taxi, then each other. Then the taxi went up...Yes I caused a 13 car pileup, destroyed thirteen cars and I am damn proud of it. I love this game.

(im only takin so long cuz I dont have time play the game every day) I was messing around and driving looking for a casino to gamble at when I inadvertanly caused a massive pileup. my taxi blew up and caused a big explosion then the other cars kept ramming into the remains and each other pretty funny stuff. anyhow supply lines was hard for me too I only beat it once after like 100 tries no lie. the key is the order of elimination, get the van to the right of you first then go get the bike guy then head out and get the other van that does a driveby at you then go get the fast bike guy finally get the other van. If you get through the first 3 targets and still have a half tank of gas or more left you should be in. I just landed on the roof in the general vicinty of the red marker with almost no gas left actually I had a hard time with the NOE plane mission as well. kept crashing mostly while just seconds from landing succesfully also have a gltich i failed to mention before. every time i go into a bar or even the casino bartenders have their hands up like I pointed a gun at them and in the regular bars this stops me from being able to play pool (but oddly enough not in the casion) anyone have a fix for me?

I have come to the part when you get seperate missions for the big roobery of caligulas casino. I did a few of those too up to key to her heart. should I finish those first or go back to the regular triad missions? and do I have to keep dating millie to get the key? or do I have it since I went on 2 dates already?

Or you could just kill her on the first date, then go inside and take it like I did.
The Ill One Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 So I was playing Zero's first mission and after the planes stopped coming and the timer ran down it didn't freeze (I could still aim and shoot) but absolutely nothing else happened. Did I miss something?
