I got to finish it I have had it since the release date for gods sake. (Hell I beat both GTA 3 and Vice city within 3-4 weeks each)

skip it, it's unnecessary...the mission that drove me nuts was the one where you had to fly under the radar and drop supplies off in some small town, fly through a ring, then fly back STILL under the radar...THEN land...

 

I'm on that mission right now, and you're right, it's fucking hard. I think I tried like three times, and then I just gave up. I'll just wait for my friend who finished the game to come over and beat it. Although with how busy he is, he'll probably come over in about 6 months.

I still say it's impossible to complete the mission where you steal police motorcycles and load them onto the moving truck.

I actually didn't have much of a problem with that Cop Wheels mission. I think the one I found to be the second hardest was the one called Up, Up, and Away which I think I did right after that. I ended up having to go to the airport and flying a helicopter to the area and it was still pretty tough from there.

I just got this for Xbox. I finished all of sweet's missons, all of ryders, and I just finished the train mission from Big Smoke.

 

Approximately how far away am I from flight school?

 

I tried to hijack a plane from the airport after jumping over the brick wall, non barbed-wire portion but I didn't know how to fly it.

You are pretty far. At least 35-40 missions away.

N.O.E. is more or less simple if you can control the plane just enough to keep it from crashing. Don't go over land, take the long way around using the water. It's a lot easier and a lot more predictable. When it comes time to make your big turn towards Angel Pine, do it quickly so that your visibility doesn't go up instantly (you'll likely have to gain some altitude to get over the mountains surrounding Angel Pine). Hit the corona and try your best not to nosedive into the village as you bank around and take the water route back. For me, the hardest part of the mission is hitting the corona and turning back fast enough to get out of there before my visibility gets out of hand.

That's your marker - it's a tool you can use on your map (using the map during the paused menu) to get to things easier - sort of like a GPS. For example, if you're going to a very specific place in San Fierro, but are in Los Santos, you can go the map screen and pinpoint the exact place you need to get to before you start driving, press circle to activate the marker, which will then turn up on your driving map. No more checking the menu map over and over and over again.

 

On a personal note, I don't think I ran into the casino heist mission, yet the game allowed me to move on to the return to Los Santos. Does this affect how my game ends (or even if it ends), or is it simply a side mission off of the main storyline?

I can't remember, I think you DO go back to Los Santos for a couple of missions (you take over that rapper's mansion) before Wuzzy calls you to get back to Las Venturas for the final mission there...

 

you'd KNOW if you did the casino hiest, it's easily one of the coolest missions in any GTA game...

I just got this game today (PC Version) and it's great so far. I'm up to the mission where I have to go to the beach and dance but no matter how hard I try I just can't get it. I read somewhere online that I have to press the arrow keys with the beat but I'm always either "too early" or "too late"..I'll keep on trying though.

 

Any suggestions on how to make this mission easier?

There is a dance club in each city I believe. I know for sure there is one in Las Venturas and San Fierro. You should be able to find it on the big fold out map that comes with the game. You have to hit the buttons right when they are in the middle of the circle that they pass through. It's not too hard after you give it a couple tries to practice. You'll have to use this same skill later on in a low rider mission.

I thought that mission was simple. I just finished it yesterday on the first try. I just did OG Loc's dance party where all the Ballers came and tried to take over our hood.

Finally rented it tonight. Went through the first few missions up to Drive Thru, now I'm just going to go about freely. I picked up a knife off a hooker I beat to death, and that has become my favorite weapon due to the lock-on special attack. STAB!

 

So far, I'm liking the little changes made, especially the fence jump. Makes foot chases a little more fun.

In the Key To Her Heart mission, where you have to date the croupier in order to get the security keycard, at exactly what time does the croupier show up at her house? I waited at her house for 24 hours, and she never showed up.

LMAO - Gamespot is reporting that you can get the sex scene in the Ps2 version via action replay.

When I first did that mission I went to a guide site that said she usually will be ther between 12:00 and 22:00, but she never was. I got her to show up once and then she disappeared again. If you do get her to show up you should kill her and then you will be able to get into her house to continue on, because I couldn't get past that mission since she never came back again.

Well, the good news is that you don't need to do that mission in order to complete the game. So, I can just skip it, since I don't think there's any chance of me completing that mission now.

I found her by driving to the house and parking across the street and letting hours pass until she showed up. I just listened to the radio and kicked back. BTW the best way to get the key quickly is to show up with tthe gimp suit on and goign to her house when shes there. That way you just go right to the "coffee" and the relationship points go up much faster. In fact it might take two tries and youll have enough for her to call you and then you can get in the house.

 

Either that or kill her during a date and then you will be able to get in the house once.

IIRC it took about 10-12 minutes, I showed up there at night and waited untill 12:00 which is time she is supposed to show up at , and indded at 12 pm she showed up. It may vary, however. Just sit there as long as it takes.

From reading the AP article, it looks like the effort will be to develop a new version that would requalify for the M rating instead. Making the AO-rated content more accessible probably isn't in the cards.

All they probably will have to do is remove that scene from the game entirely (which, let's be honest, they should have done in the first place) and it should go back to an M rating.
