Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 I was pretty sure it was Ministry touring with Thrill Kill..unless that's a separate gig altogether. gwar/dying fetus That just gets more and more badass every time I think about it. I'm going to start getting stretched and warmed up.
Guest krazykat72 Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 I'll be seeing Helmet whenever they reschedule their tour dates -Paul Jacobi-
5_moves_of_doom Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 The Violent Femmes, Pixies, Guided By Voices, and Wilco (though I think Wilco overflows into winter.) ZING! Now I just need Tom Waits to tour for his new album, and I'm set.
King Kamala Posted September 2, 2004 Report Posted September 2, 2004 I listed this in the summer shows, but since the show is in late September it fits better in here. Alice Cooper, September 22nd, State Theater, Portland,Maine (The venue is an adult movie theater turned concert venue. Seems like the proper venue to see Alice Cooper in. Fits somewhere between 1500 and 2000 people. Alice comes like every year, which is astonishing since barely anyone plays Portland, but I've never seen him.) Might see some of the nostalgia acts at county fairs and stuff (Blood, Sweat and Tears, Grass Roots). Cause I'm not one to pass up a free concert (Well kind of free).
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 Pixies for sure, maybe Morrissey if I can find someone to go with me.
NoCalMike Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 Jaiger tour - Slayer, Killswitch Engage
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 It's Slayer and Killswitch? Weak. Who else?
nl5xsk1 Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 The only show that I know I'm going to is Monster Magnet in CT, but there are rumors online that Wyndorf 86'ed everyone else from the band and is canceling the tour.
converge241 Posted September 3, 2004 Author Report Posted September 3, 2004 "I was pretty sure it was Ministry touring with Thrill Kill..unless that's a separate gig altogether." my bad Agent was typing fast and too many "M" bands ..will fix i should know I have tix LOL
jimmy no nose Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 It's Slayer and Killswitch? Weak. Who else? Mastodon who were awesome when I saw them with Clutch. I'm going to see the tour hopefully.
Placebo Effect Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 October appears to be an absolutely awesome month. Josh Todd, ICP, Type O Negative, Lamb of God/Fear Factory, Underoath, Metallica, Ministry, Senses Fail, Nintendo Fusion, Bad Religion/Rise Against, Deftones, Green Day, Finger Eleven, and Dillinger Escape Plan and KMFDM at the beginning of November.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 Hmmm, looks like that Dying Fetus and Gwar tour is being worked on for Alberta dates. Blabbermouth is reporting alberta shows, but they know fuck all about confirmations, or lack there of. Hope it goes through cuz it could be a fun show.
Steviekick Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 The only show that I know I'm going to is Monster Magnet in CT, but there are rumors online that Wyndorf 86'ed everyone else from the band and is canceling the tour. I heard the same rumor.
snuffbox Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 Jack Johnson w/ G.Love and Donovan Frankenreiter - This Sunday Sevendust w/ Soil - Sept 30 Richard Thompson - Oct 15 Jager Tour, DMB, Finger11/LocalH, Morrissey, RatDog, and others are possible...
B. Brian Brunzell Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 Right now, the only show I give two fucks about is Social MOTHERFDUCKING Distortion in Pittsburgh on October 19th. Seeing Mike Ness live will make me able to die a happy man. Tiger Army is backing them up. It's all about the punk rock.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 Mastodon!! is going to be with Slayer, too? Oh fuck you Killswitch Engage. You don't belong there. They'd better open. Now I'm going.

That's the most fun show ever conceived. Dying Fetus live is unparallelled violence, and GWAR is absolutely hilarious, messy, violent, and out of control. These venues are going to get fucked up. Guaranteed most fun show ever.
Dr. Zoidberg Posted September 5, 2004 Report Posted September 5, 2004 Ryan Adams at the Warfield on September 22nd. Me and RickyChosyu are HELLLLLLAAA goin. Not only that, but...yeah, I guess only that. EDIT: Just found out that when I go down to visit my girlfriend in San Diego, I am going to be subjected to 3 nights of screamo punk...yaaaaaaaay.
nl5xsk1 Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Right now, the only show I give two fucks about is Social MOTHERFDUCKING Distortion in Pittsburgh on October 19th. Seeing Mike Ness live will make me able to die a happy man. Tiger Army is backing them up. It's all about the punk rock. I've seen Social D a few times, and each show has been awesome. They're coming to Boston in October, so I'll be checking them out then. Plus, potentially the next night in Providence (I just like Lupo's too much to skip a show as kick-ass as Social D)
converge241 Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Posted September 9, 2004 "It's Slayer and Killswitch? Weak. Who else? Mastodon who were awesome when I saw them with Clutch.
