Hunter's Torn Quad Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 I have no idea why Flair would kiss the ass of the guy who, for all intents and purposes, is running the show. None at all.
SuperJerk Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 There are three possibilities: 1. Job security. 2. He actually likes Triple H. 3. Some combination of the two.
2GOLD Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 Cause he's old, his wrestling days should be behind him and he is slowly becoming the new JJ Dillion. HHH is the top heel, Flair quite frankly should only be in a manager-part-time wrestler role with the company and he doesn't work as a face manager. Hunter is cocky, he's arrogant and that is exactly what a young Flair was. It might be the only thing that makes an ounce of sense in the WWE.
Youth N Asia Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 This whole things sucks, Evolution is done with, let Ric do something on his own. He's one of the most over faces on the show, and the fans just don't want to boo the guy.
Slayer Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 Trips wishes he had 10% of Flair's personality, charisma and heat
King Cucaracha Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 I think Flair really believes HHH is a great wrestler. Whever he'd hype him so much if HHH didn't have so many connections, who knows.
chaosrage Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 Because he's the greatest wrestler of all time. Haven't you been paying attention? Edit: Good a time to ask as any. Does anybody still have that pic of Flair bowing to Orton? I loved that pic and need a new background.
Guest Brian Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 Is there any record of Flair blowing all his money he made headlining? Bad investments? Because that's what it looks like.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 Ric Flair doesn't need the money. It's simply a case of him knowing what to do in order to keep favor.
bobobrazil1984 Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 i skimmed through some of Flair's book, and the impression I got was that he came out of WCW feeling very... shall we say... not great about his place in the business (in such a way that we wouldn't really comprehend, since as far as we're concerned, flair is one of the greatest), and the McMahons and HHH i guess really helped pull him out of that funk, and that's where a bond got formed. or something like that. it really wasn't that compelling a read so i stopped reading.
Mole Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 I think Flair really believes HHH is a great wrestler. Whever he'd hype him so much if HHH didn't have so many connections, who knows. Well Trips can bring it still, but only when he wants to.
AndrewTS Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 Flair is a whore, just like Foley. Except his tits aren't as firm anymore.
razazteca Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 HHH gives Flair a case of beer before every show?
Shanghai Kid Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 Why can't they just be good friends? Why does everything have to be about alterior motives?
2GOLD Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 HHH gives Flair a case of beer before every show? And whiskey And Tequila And Bloody Mary's And some vod Ric Flair is officially the drunk uncle of RAW.
AndrewTS Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 Because he's the greatest wrestler of all time. Haven't you been paying attention? Edit: Good a time to ask as any. slimm44 Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 Because he is partially retired but still wants his camera time...To let people know he is still around...To turn on HHH for a Wrestlemania 22 match after HHH wins it for the 16th time...I'll edit this if I think of anything else
MarvinisaLunatic Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 He's in awe of the performance HHH gave last night on the Bernie Mac Show? PS - HHH should stay out of the kitchen..he looks stupid with an apron on. I could kick his ass in an Iron Chef Battle.
Matt Young Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 Haha... I was watching the Simpsons last night and that came on afterwards. I was like, "What the fuck is HHH doing on there?" I had no idea he was going to appear.
Youth N Asia Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 I'm almost expecting HHH to start giving him the Eddie/Chavo treatment from WCW. I'm just waiting for HHH to give Ric the "HHH is my favorite wrestler" t-shirt...and then for Ric to "whooo!" and shill HHH some more.
CBright7831 Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 I don't know, but it really pisses me off.
Twisted Intestine Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 It really makes me happy. WOOOOO!
jester Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 Because he's the greatest wrestler of all time. Haven't you been paying attention? Edit: Good a time to ask as any. "Jesuth Christh. WOOOOO!"

If they were ever going to turn Flair face and let him face off one on one against Triple H in his last match.. that would be a wicked ass way to build up to it.

Promoter Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 Maybe it has to do with Trips being the son in-law of his boss Maybe it has to do with Trips telling him he was too old and he should retire a few years ago on radio
