With Vince McMahon back at TV after recovering from his injury, the backstage area at Raw on Monday was less relaxed and more intense than previous weeks.

 

Almost everyone internally was pleased with Mondays Raw show, which was wrestling focused. Morale overall is high, with many thinking that business is finally beginning to rise, with an excellent PPV buyrate for WrestleMania, a sold out, high grossing European tour and steady TV ratings.

 

Over 3000 mourners attended Chris Candido's funeral yesterday. His wife, Tammy Sytch, is said to be bearing up well. I have heard that Tammy Sytch is looking to try out for WWE somewhere down the line.

 

Lita is set to turn heel on Kane, perhaps as early as next week and align with real life lover Edge on TV.

 

Trish Stratus is off TV and the road for the forseeable future due to a severe back injury. I am unsure if she requires surgery or if it is merely a case of rest and physiotherapy.

 

As a part of the draft, which is set to take place sometime towads the end of this month, Christian is heading to Smackdown and Kurt Angle is heading to Raw.

The Christian jump is too predictable. I'd prefer they switch the world champions and bring Cena on Raw instead.

I disagree. I assume each show gets 5 picks. All throughout Raw, Christian should have segments where he's hoping he gets picked. Cameras should show him crossing his fingers, maybe even praying. He should be the last person picked, after panicking all throughout the show.

I think she might be able to help the new divas with their acting/promo work. She was pretty good at what she did back in the day, and while I don't think she's in any shape to go in front of the TV cameras she could certainly help out behind them. If nothing else, it might get Vince some much needed good will after the whole Hardy situation and releasing guys while they were still rehabbing.

Christian's move might be predictable but it's GOT to happen at this point, otherwise they've been dicking around having Christian trash John Cena with no real payoff.

 

You know, oddly enough the Angle/Masters stuff might have promise. They could have Angle break out of the full nelson and take the $$, then the next week Masters could take the Angle challenge and somehow cheat his way to winning the medals. It's a fun way to pay off a couple of running angles.

That shirt is not new, and it does resemble the shocker, it stands for V1.

 

This could easily be made up. Just to get people riled up about the whole affair.

So, if Lita turns on Kane, that means most likely..

 

Instead of getting another kick ass Benoit/Kane match, we get another shitty-ass Edge/Kane match.

 

Unless they have both Kane and Edge go over Benoit and Michaels (HA!), I think that's what will happen.

And I'm Vince has left Angle 'stranded on the B show' for so long actually, so it wouldn't surprise me if they brought Angle to Raw. It makes little sense, but whatever. I'd rather Jericho trades to SD than HBK now anyway.

That's a shame if Angle goes to Raw. They've done a pretty good job with defining certain guys with their respective rosters and Angle is one of the guys (along with probably Eddie Guerrero, JBL, and Rey Mysterio) that you think of when you think Smackdown. He's also one of only a couple people left that has never left the original show they were drafted too, which is kind of neat. I think Kane is one of the only other major stars that has stayed with the same brand, plus a few other Heat/Velocity guys I guess.

Because WM and overseas tours being successful are SURE signs of a turn-around, and not, you know, pretty much GIVENS for years and years now.

There was talk earlier of bringing Angle to RAW so Batista would have someone to feud with.

And if Sytch comes back; she needs to be with Simon Dean. He can show some pics of her out of shape and say she's back to Body Dona shape thanks to the Simon System. Come on, it would be great.
