Guest *KNK* Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 It would explain why his character wont be on TV for a while. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> RE: HHH - what is the legit reason for that, anyway? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Creative feels he is over exposed right now. seriously. they are right for a change.
AndrewTS Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 "visioned not having to go to the hospital after being hurt by a 'future' WWE superstar who may look good but have the wrestling ability of a dead walrus. " Who injured Spike?
Guest nokia Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Meltzer says Hiroko is gone (not that there was any question), and he expects BROOOOCK to sign his deal tommorrow
dubq Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 "visioned not having to go to the hospital after being hurt by a 'future' WWE superstar who may look good but have the wrestling ability of a dead walrus. " Who injured Spike? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> IIRC, La Resistance did when they did their double chokeslam thinger over the top rope and onto a table...
pochorenella Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 La Resistance did. They tried to powerbomb him from the ring thru a table outside and they missed. Spike landed with his neck hitting the table. Edit: vivisecti beat me to it.
Epic Reine Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 You think Brock will come back in time for Summerslam?
SuperJerk Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 This was probably posted but anyway: WWE has decided not to proceed with any renegotiations with Bubba and D-Von Dudley. We wish both Bubba and D-Von the best in all future endeavors. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds like they asked for too much $$$.
UZI Suicide Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Wow, I'm kind of shocked by that. Are they just totally throwing the tag team division in the trash or what? Even if the Dudleyz are a bit stale, they're still the biggest name in the tag division.
Exslade ZX Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Wow, I'm kind of shocked by that. Are they just totally throwing the tag team division in the trash or what? Even if the Dudleyz are a bit stale, they're still the biggest name in the tag division. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But evidently the Dudz wanted to much money..Who knows, maybe the WWE wanted to keep them? No matter how much talent you have, or how popular you are, you ask for too much money and you're probaly getting canned in some form another (ie: T.O.)
CBright7831 Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 So I guess Marty won't be returning after all. Oh well, that makes his two appearances ideal and worthwhile.
Enigma Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Recap: -- Marc Loyd -- Mark Jindrak -- Maven -- Shannon Moore -- Akio -- Gangrel -- Billy Kidman -- Spike Dudley -- Mordecai -- The Dudley Boys -- Kenzo Suzuki -- Matt Morgan -- Charlie Haas -- Jackie Gayda -- Marty Jannetty -- Dawn Marie -- Joy Giovanni Add Joy Giovanni to the list. WWE.Com just did
Exslade ZX Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Joy Giovanni's gone too. Meh. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like you said..meh, she hadnt been seen in a while. She's been on G4TV for the last month or two anyways.
Downhome Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Release all of the "divas" that have been signed most recently.
ChrisMWaters Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Joy Giovanni's gone too. Meh. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What's that...the third or fourth of the non-winning Diva Search girls no longer employed? And yet, the only one I miss was the one that was with JBL's cabinet.
jwpeer Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 ...I love getting a monster.com ad on the wwe releases page. That's brutal. I know it's random, but I thought it was funny.

I like Forums Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 God. I feel so terrible for all these people losing they're jobs. It seems like every few hours somebody is getting called up and told they don't have a job anymore. I guess it just hits home because I was recently fired from my own job.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Like someone said earlier, this feels like an NFL or NBA draft... 15 minutes later... With the 17th release, the WWE selects... JOY GIOVANNI! *Giovanni sits at the table crying*
Just John Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Like someone said earlier, this feels like an NFL or NBA draft... 15 minutes later... With the 17th release, the WWE selects... JOY GIOVANNI! *Giovanni sits at the table crying* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ha! Well, back on page 4 I said I hope the other Dudleys get released, though I might be the only who wanted them gone. I really don't feel bad about any of the releases, and most of them I'm really happy about. Either they're getting rid of total deadweight or giving workrate guys (Akio, Haas) a chance to shine elsewhere. And if it's to make room for Lesnar, so be it. I'd rather watch a Lesnar match than Dudleys, or Matt Morgan match.

Jobber of the Week Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 I really don't feel bad about any of the releases, and most of them I'm really happy about. Either they're getting rid of total deadweight or giving workrate guys (Akio, Haas) a chance to shine elsewhere. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I doubt Janetty will be able to do as well anywhere else. That's the one that really pisses me off. Not only because Rockers matches would have been a much-needed shot in the arm to the tag division AND because it would give Shawn something new to do again, but also because Marty stopped taking Indy bookings past a certain date for this thing and now that he's working on his last appointments they dropped him.

It seems like every few hours somebody is getting called up and told they don't have a job anymore. I guess it just hits home because I was recently fired from my own job. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The fact that they have a side pannel for it on the main page with "More Superstars Released" with cut out graphics like it's a match up screen kind of disturbs me...
Slayer Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Pretty soon the only one left will be Ted Knight
SuperJerk Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Okay, that was reference to the last episode of "Mary Tyler Moore", wasn't it? God, we're old. Like someone said earlier, this feels like an NFL or NBA draft... 15 minutes later... With the 17th release, the WWE selects... JOY GIOVANNI! *Giovanni sits at the table crying* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was awesome.
Just John Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Wasn't Marty in jail for something? Public image might be WWE's reason to get rid of him.
Dangerous A Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 What should we call this whole matter? The WWE July Release Massacre?
SuperJerk Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Nobody said anything about my theory earlier, so I'm going to say it again... Do you think this is the real reason everyone got the week off?
