I'm loving the Drawn Together episode, from the late 90's WWF stock music, to the Princess's rubber tat covers, the King, the Casino tribute, the "retarded counter", everything.

South Park sucked. End gave a chuckle. No music for the promotional credit was great.

Captain Hero is awesome.

I've been saying that for a while. If anyone on this show deserves a spin-off, it's him.

It seems as if the majority of the Drawn Together episodes for this season are focusing primarily on Captain Hero, Foxy, and Spanky. Those ARE their best character.

I wonder how Isaac Hayes feels about this. He's a Scientologist.

I just died a little inside.

Yeah, I hate hearing about people I respect who are part of that crap. It was like a daggar to my heart when I heard Jason Lee was a big scientologist.

Now it's my turn to die a little inside.

Aw, man, That just pisses me off.

Can't we save Jason Lee?  If anyone is worthy of being made to change their ways for the good of mankind, it's him.

The only way to save people from Scientology is to make even the average person believe (rightfully so) that it's a cult based on idiotic ideas. It has to be ruthlessly ridiculed even when it's casually mentioned--in short, it can't be tolerated. But even that may not work.

How many episodes in Season 9 have had a "I learned something today" ending? I think that's what is missing from the new episodes. They're adventures for the sake of adventure rather than adventures with political opinion behind it.

There were a couple good bits throughout it, but nothing memorable.

Man, the realistic Cartman scares the shit out of me.

Those realistic pictures have got me thinking what a live-action South Park would be like.

the bit about Clyde's dad coming into his room naked to beat him up was great, as was the dead whale on the moon

Shouldn't the whale have exploded on entering into space due to the lack of pressure or whatever? It would have made a better sight gag.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

Randy Marsh is God.

Amen.

Great Drawn Together too (Last one till January). Loved the subtitled Godzilla.

I guess I'm the only one who didn't like it. It just seems like they're really bitter about AA. I mean yeah, the probalbly can't tell between a real alcoholic and person who just did something stupid when they're drunk, and if your not religious it sucks for you. Alcoholism might not be like cancer, but their is a genetic pre-disposition for it in some cases. Virgin Mary sub-plot went no where. I think there's enough things messed up about Catholicism or any religion in general to rip on that you a ass bleeding Virgin Mary is just being lazy.

12 step program

http://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org/defaul...id=44&pageid=34

1. We admitted we were powerless over alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.

8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

South Park wasn't hilarious last night but there were a few funny parts and I thought the message was great, especially because they didn't just go with "you have the power to stop drinking". Good stuff.

"Yes and I also know what a cult is.... I was the leader of one for a little while...."

My favorite southpark ever, my dad's been in NA(narcotics anonymous) for like 15-16 years and we always argue about it. They managed to sum up my feelings on the matter and induce pants shitting laughter. a++

Plus, the "chicks bleeding out of their vagina is no miracle" part, fucking gold.

I just haven't enjoyed this past season. The main thing that irritates me (this will make me sound like a fanboy) is that the animation has gotten so good. IMO, part of the charm of this show was the shitty animation of the first few seasons. They need to incorporate some of the older characters back into the show, instead of just having several new characters show up each week that we never see again (just for the sake of a quick laugh). The Mayor, Officer Barbrady, Jimmy, Timmy, Tweak, Craig, etc. have all been neglected for the majority of this season and the previous one.

Very, very true on both points.

I liked the message the episode got across. The fact people say things like alcoholsim, depression, drugs, and other things are considered dieases is bullshit to me as well. I think everyone has their own will power to stop drinking so much, stop being so damn depressed, and stop doing drugs as a whole. Well some drugs, not all drugs because of some of the side effects they give you, but still. I liked the episode.
