JN News Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 I know this might be in the wrong forum, and you can feel free to move it, if you want. But, since this forum is about music, I figured, why not make a topic like this to remember Eddie? Here are a couple of song that I would listen to to remind me of Eddie. "I Will Remember You" by Amy Grant "My Immortal" by Evenessence What would you listen to to remember Eddie?
JN News Posted November 15, 2005 Author Report Posted November 15, 2005 you're being serious? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes. I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone. I'm just asking what song will make you think of Eddie.

CanadianGuitarist Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Hurt - Johnny Cash. Yeah, it's fairly obvious. As for the part of (insert topic here) that will remind you of Guerrero, it's more over-done and silly than offensive.
Guest clockworkraven Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 That mexican rap. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> La Raza?
Styles Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 "Latino Heat" from WWF The Music, Vol. 5. When I hear this song I usually think of Eddie.
Steviekick Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 "The Ballad of Eddie Guerrero" by Stormtroopers of Death <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Seconded.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 Speaking of Cage, I can't remember if I read it here or not, but he's about 2 years into a piece that's meant to last six centuries. Some church in scotland (I think) is playing it. They've got friars hanging sandbags from levers on a pipe organ. It's something like one note every nine months.
The Czech Republic Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 I've started the next step of Zappa obsession, in which I start listening to his influences. I'm familiar with Stravinsky; Cage and Varese will be fun.
The Czech Republic Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 Another of Cage's works, Organ² / ASLSP, is currently being performed near the German township of Halberstadt; in an imaginative and controversial interpretation of Cage's directions for the piece to be played "As SLow aS Possible", the performance, being done on a specially-constructed autonomous organ built into the old church of St. Burchardi, is scheduled to take a total of 639 years after having been started at midnight on September 5, 2001. So yeah, cool. I really liked "Music For Amplified Toy Pianos," as well as what I've heard from Sonatas and Interludes so far.
Sideburnious Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 "Hip to be square" - Huey Lewis & the News (when thinking of the fans)
Toshiaki Koala Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 For some reason, I used to think of Eddie whenever I heard "Wrong 'Em Boyo" by the Clash. Probably all the stuff about cheating and stealing and whatnot. Is there a "Positions that make you think of Eddie Guerrero" in the LS&D folder? EDIT: Jesus fuck, there actually is. Well, not really. But sort of.
