"The well-publicized death of Eddie Guerrero brought the issue of pro wrestling's intensive lifestyle to the forefront. While it was always a background concern for wrestlers and insiders, it suddenly became a major talking point.

According to PWTorch.com, Guerrero's death horrified one top WWE wrestler's wife to the point that she asked him to quit the business. Confident that he would not be a casualty of the business, however, he refused to fulfill that request.

Supposedly, that concern is not limited to the wife and wrestler in question. A number of family members, particularly spouses, are worried about the toll the industry might take on WWE performers."

Hmmm...my guess is either Rebecca Hickenbottom or Stephanie McMahon

This isn't even juicy gossip, if it were along the lines of "WWE Superstar's wife will leave him if he doesn't quit the company" then it would be better.

And the person is Nancy Benoit.

I doubt it's Stephanie, since she's probably had some of Paul's vitamins, herself.

Maybe, it's Benoit. Unless he cheated on Nancy.

You'd think Nancy Sullivan would have been around wrestling long enough to know the health risks and dangers associated with it, no?

I am not saying it's not her, but it sounds more of a naive person getting shook by a death and wising up, rather than someone who has been in and close to the business for over 15 years.

Yeah. Stephanie McMahon would ask her husband to quit the business.

:bonk:

I guess that's just wishful thinking on my part :P

Yeah, it's probably Benoit's wife. Benoit told her everything would be okay and then proceeded to take two suicide bumps on his neck and head. I'm sure that allayed her fears about painkillers and whatnot.

The only wrestling wife I could buy is Rey, and even then, Rey isn't stubborn enough to wrestle without the support of his family, nor does he think he's invincible when his best friend died.
