Guest tony manero Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 "The well-publicized death of Eddie Guerrero brought the issue of pro wrestling's intensive lifestyle to the forefront. While it was always a background concern for wrestlers and insiders, it suddenly became a major talking point. According to PWTorch.com, Guerrero's death horrified one top WWE wrestler's wife to the point that she asked him to quit the business. Confident that he would not be a casualty of the business, however, he refused to fulfill that request. Supposedly, that concern is not limited to the wife and wrestler in question. A number of family members, particularly spouses, are worried about the toll the industry might take on WWE performers." Hmmm...my guess is either Rebecca Hickenbottom or Stephanie McMahon
Epic Reine Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 This isn't even juicy gossip, if it were along the lines of "WWE Superstar's wife will leave him if he doesn't quit the company" then it would be better. And the person is Nancy Benoit.
Guest Leelee Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 I doubt it's Stephanie, since she's probably had some of Paul's vitamins, herself. Maybe, it's Benoit. Unless he cheated on Nancy.
LaParkaYourCar Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Is Cena married? I hope it was Cena's wife and she keeps pushing the issue until he quits. Kidding of course.
SuperJerk Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Hmmm...my guess is either Rebecca Hickenbottom or Stephanie McMahon Yeah. Stephanie McMahon would ask her husband to quit the business.
The Mandarin Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Pat Patterson. Someone's gotta save Sylvan.
Kahran Ramsus Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 I immediately thought of Benoit too. Rey, maybe?
RavishingRickRudo Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 You'd think Nancy Sullivan would have been around wrestling long enough to know the health risks and dangers associated with it, no? I am not saying it's not her, but it sounds more of a naive person getting shook by a death and wising up, rather than someone who has been in and close to the business for over 15 years.
Guest tony manero Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Hmmm...my guess is either Rebecca Hickenbottom or Stephanie McMahon Yeah. Stephanie McMahon would ask her husband to quit the business. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I guess that's just wishful thinking on my part Yeah, it's probably Benoit's wife. Benoit told her everything would be okay and then proceeded to take two suicide bumps on his neck and head. I'm sure that allayed her fears about painkillers and whatnot.
Angle-plex Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Angle's wife is who came to mind first (she was pissed when he kept getting busted open by RVD in 2002). He and Benoit would be most logical.
Dobbs 3K Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Sounds like it was a slow news day at the Torch, so they made something up that has no way of being proven of disproven.
Dewe Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Nah, it was probably one of Randall's ring rats.
The Niggardly King Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Pimptista <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Spaceman Spiff Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Dawn Marie <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heh.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Sara Undertaker.. I bet she goes crazy everytime she sees him burn or explode or get burried alive..
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Mrs. Boogeyman. Really, this shit is pointless. edit: The guessing, that is. Wait for a solid confirmation.
SuperJerk Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Mrs. Kennedy....... Kennedy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lock the thread. No comment's gonna top that one.
Vyce Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 I immediately thought of Benoit too. Rey, maybe? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd figure it for Rey's wife. They were close to the Guerreros, so Eddie's death, I could see it having that sort of reaction on her.
Fökai Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 The only wrestling wife I could buy is Rey, and even then, Rey isn't stubborn enough to wrestle without the support of his family, nor does he think he's invincible when his best friend died.
Jericho2000Mark Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Yeah, I can see Rey taking ridiculous amounts of painkillers and roids like Eddie.
Foshi Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Mrs. Tajiri in a scheming plot to have him stay home and drive her around.
randomguy Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 I'm guessing it's Trish Status's common-law wife, Verna. Next week in the Torch: Word is that an upper-rung WWE wrestler's cat has gone missing!
