Rendclaw Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 Part 1 and Part 2 of the greatest cage match ever. No flips, no INNOVATION~, and no bullshit - just two grown men who look like grown men beating the shit out of each other because they fucking hate each other's guts. Watch this one. This only reinforces that Magnum was the fucking MAN back then, and how tragic that his career was cut short. He could have gone down as one of the best if his career had gone to its natural conclusion.

Thanks for that. Bret Hart was fucking God that night.

He could have gone down as one of the best if his career had gone to its natural conclusion. I liked how the announcers kept quiet for large portions of the match and let the action speak for itself. No reason for "a punch by Tully, a punch by Magnum, there's a kick, there's a punch" like it would be nowadays, plus talking about other matches and angles during it too.
Dobbs 3K Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Yeah. I think guys like Lawler and Ross need to shut the hell up once in a while, but that's not how Vince wants it.
Hank Kingsley Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 Booker T and Goldust at the Movies One of my favorite RAW segments ever.
Vampiro69 Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 Yesterday I just sent that link to a friend of mine to watch. I think this is the segment that finally got Booker T over with the WWE crowd.
Aero Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 I don't think it's been posted yet, but one of the best WWF music videos... History of the WWF: "Lonely Road of Faith"

Both Magnum and Tully sold it that night.
Guest Oblivious Heel Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 Too many of these people are dead.
Art Sandusky Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnOhm5iK0-o&search=WWF I don't know if anyone posted this, but I found it interesting. Marvel at a tag division with serious depth. Note how the team that's most over with the crowd is unceremoniously eliminated by way of a dumb mistake. Oh, Vince!
Art Sandusky Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 Wrestler Vs Fan What a moron. Chris Hero, I mean.
The Metal Maniac Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 Yeah, it must take balls of steel to punch someone in the face knowing that security is going to hold them back so they can't hit you.
buffybeast Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 Booker T and Goldust at the Movies One of my favorite RAW segments ever. This was gold!
