Your point fucking sucked. I was trying to be polite. You cannot rationalize him wearing that get up based on this feud. Nothing Hunter has done or said in the last month has made me think "he may show up dressed like a lunatic He said Cena wasn't good enough. He said that about everyone he's ever feuded with. He never dressed like that before. When Booker wasn't good enough and HHH was "The Game" did Hunter come out dressed like a fucking XBox? No. Because that would look stupid.

The throne, was fine. That fit perfectly into his character and he had a dramatic entrance last year with the rising stage, so that wasn't out of place. It was the costume that did him in, at least he had an excuse with the "King of Kings" thing...

Since when was Cena supposed to be a 1930's gangster?

It would be totally stupid if he would have come out dressed as an X-Box............

He'd look a lot more realistic if he was dressed up as a Playstation 2 instead

HHH did the job tonight to get out of doing it for RVD at ONS.

Did anyone else like the way they waited for both HHH and Cena to be in the ring before they did their introductions? It was like a boxing match and made it seem more important.

Considering that TNA and ROH do this all the time and WCW used to do it as well, it wasn't that special. Cena, dancing like ALI was equally moronic as the Gangster theme.

Are we gonna get a post-wm lottery draft again in a few weeks? If so, here's what i'd like to see

Moved to Raw:

JBL (with the US Title)

MNM (Melina can feud for the Women's title, and it doesn't make sense having 2 tag team champions being as that there's NO challengers on either show)

Undertaker (let him feud with Cena for a while)

Moved to Smackdown:

HBK (star power, and can feud with Mysterio))

Shelton Benjamin (with IC title)

Edge (Have him feud for the World title)

Kane (replaces Taker as the monster on smackdown)

HHH, Taker and JBL on the same show? That'd make for interesting reports.

Triple H kicked out of the F-U. The only other superstars to do this before are Brock Lesnar at Backlash 2003, Kurt Angle at No Mercy 2003, and Big Show at WrestleMania XX.

The WrestleMania 22 Event will be on DVD to be released on May 23, 2006.

Why did Rey come out and go back behind the "building" just to pose...and then he comes back out onto the ramp again with the peacock head-dress.

Yeah, btw...Cena and HHH were bad but Mysterio was worse.

Is it wrong to think the women's title match was the best of the night? Mickie fucking ruled in that one. Easily the best women's match WWE has ever put out and the only women's match I can think of that I would give ***+. Mickie is easily a top 3 character on Raw.

While there weren't any classic matches on this show, it did have some good moments. The burning table spot, the 20 foot elbow, and Rey winning the gold were all great. Plus there were some good spots in the MITB and 3-way match. Despite the horrible, horrible build for the show, it didn't turn out too badly. Probably goes down in the middle or lower middle of the pack in terms of ranking the WM's.

Oh, and wtf was up with those HHH/Cena entrances? That was just weird.

It just annoys me so much what this company does sometimes. They are so wrapped up in their own universe that they have no idea how real people operate. I was ashamed of wrestling when I saw Hunter in that thing. What in the FUCK did that accomplish other than give a little more ammo to people who want to shoot it down. Why in the hell does my love of wrestling have to be a fucking secret from everyone? I tried to take my friend to a show down here in DC, and he was excited. I thought "hey, maybe I can find someone in the real world that will share this passion with me" And then that fucking idiot Vince McMahon makes in the god damned motherfucking Kiss My Ass Club show, and I spent damn near a week trying to find a way to explain this to him. Luckily he dropped out, and you dont know how thankful I was.

And so now of course we have a fucking PIRATE. WHY? WHY THE FUCK IS THERE A MAN PLAYING A PIRATE ON MY TV? He's not supposed to be a joke, he's not insane, he's a motherfucking legitimate Pirate who decided wrestling in 2006 was the way to go about whatever the hell it is his goals were. This isn't the Boogeyman. The Boogeyman's gimmick is that he's off the wall batshit crazy. This is a perfectly sane and rational man who decided he was a pirate and we're supposed to accept and respect that. If I were watching Smackdown and someone came in and saw that, I'd be mortified.

And now, on top of all this, the two biggest stars in the company (In theory) are showing up in utterly absurd costumes from some high school play. I don't ask them to go all the way mainstream. But would it really hurt them to not make fools of themselves and all their fans. Does Hunter really need to be dressed like that? Any wrestling fan knows he's the king of kings or whatever, and they don't need that...thing to explain it. Any casual thinks he's now the biggest loser dork they've ever seen. And I completely don't understand what the hell was going on with Cena. He's in Chicago, so he's no longer Vanilla Ice, he's Al Capone? WHY? I know it's Wrestlemania and you want to do it up. Debut new tights. Debut a ring robe, new pyro, come to the ring differently, anything but what these two did tonight.

Ya know...they showed Cena and HHH backstage- warming up for the match...just regular attire. They looked intense, ready to go kick some ass...then by the time of the match- they were dressed like Barbarians and Mobsters. That's just...a bizarre transition.

I don't know. Because it was absurd. That's the best I can do. Its the stupidest thing they can think of. Its really bad, but its nowhere near as bad as the other two. Mysterio wore some whacky head dress in Mexico, so at least there's some sort of precedent for it. I couldn't even begin to guess why Cena was a gangster. At least with Rey I'm going to assume its some kind of heritage thing or tribute or whatever the hell it was.

And demand that he never wear it again.

Good. I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw the awesomeness in that match. Even with the weak finish it was still a good match. The split pull/stiff kick combo by Trish was nice. And all of Trish's other contrived spots were worked into the match in a reasonable and appropriate way.

Mickie brought the awesome with that dragon screw like thing over the top rope. And who could forget the camel toe clutch? Plus the look afterwards was priceless.

Jesus some of you are thick.

Cena is OVER. He's getting huge reactions and people either want to see him win or lose. A large portion of the WWE audience is TIRED of HHH. You make money when people care about a wrestler, not when they're indifferent. If Cena's hated enough to turn HHH face, you don't rush a heel turn because you have no choice, you give him something that will keep the focus on him(a title) and do a smart turn over a month or so.

WWE isn't hellbent on keeping Cena a face, they're hellbent on keeping him a face until they're ready to turn him. If they fuck up the turn, bitch then, don't bitch because they don't let the audience define characters for them.

For all the bitching about them hotshotting and playing to the crowd over doing the right thing, you'd think someone would of picked up on this.

Wouldn't a feathered head dress be the same thing as tribal gear? I dunno- I went on a cruise recently and when we got off the ship in Mexico a couple of warrior dudes wearing a lot of feathers were there to pose for pictures with us.

I re-heeeeelly do not understand why people, despite ALL the pros and cons, have not all collectively shighed a big sigh of relief that HHH did not win.

I am done with HHH having any big title. Completely done. All Cena would have to do to win people over is become a full-on tweener; he can be salvaged. HHH has not changed since 1999.

Someone said it a few days ago... even Taken changed himself for a while and has evolved..

Didn't Rey wear that exact same thing at that recent Mexico show?

I can't believe some people would bitch about him wearing that, considering that type of thing is a part of that culture. It was his big night, so it made sense for him to wear it tonight, just like it made sense for him to wear it at the big Mexico show.

Wearing something like that in Mexico, fits because...well it's in Mexico. He just looks silly, a 5'5 guy wearing a feathered head-dress with a black leather mask will always look silly.

Watch the Shows much? Palmer Canon hired the Boogeyman off another canceled UPN show, he's playing a role. Burchhill was also told he had to become a Pirate by Canon. The gimmick is he's an out of touch Exec.

It looks really silly with the mask, most people at home aren't aware of the Mexico show, and its not like they've made his culture such an integral part of the story that it makes sense.

Still, at least there's some element of it works, so its eons better than the other two

It works in Mexico because it's part that culture, his culture. Tonight was his big night, for the first time he had a shot to win the world title, and he won it. It only made sense for this to be that one time where he comes out in full garb like that. It doesn't matter if people at home are in the know about it anyway, it was his moment, and he did it for himself and his culture.

Not to mention that anyone who can't get the concept must be a fucking moron. Did any single one of you not instantly understand that he was doing that because of his culture?

It was along the lines of what Joe did at that TNA show last year.
