Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.

Recommended Posts

my boss comes up to me at work today and goes, "Hey you hear Vince McMahon died on RAW and the FBI are investigating, Pretty crazy shit, eh?" Me: "Uh dude, its a story line, they taped it Sunday." Boss: "Are you sure, WWE.com reported...." *HEAD EXPLODED*

See, this is exactly my point. Three people at work have asked me about the angle today alone, its an absolutly perfect angle, even tho it is the very definition of hot-shotting :)

It'll be the perfect angle if the follow up convinces the people who tune into Raw off of it to pay for a PPV or two. It's got people talking, which is step one. Step two is getting those people who wouldn't otherwise tune to tune in and stay tuned in, to see the next part of the angle. Step three is getting those viewers to pay for a PPV or something.

The better way for this to have happened was for Vince to get in the Limo and drive off and never be seen from again.

Missing Vince > Dead Vince

Imagine, WWE could plaster signs up

"HAVE YOU SEEN THIS BILLIONAIRE? IF SO CALL 1-888-FINDVKM"

WWF could hire a few guys to dress up as Vince and wander around the country..and provide "photo" ops of Vince for RAW..

Then they rip off the Foley lost in Cleveland angle with Vince living as a bum somewhere..

or turn this into the whole "Undertaker" sighting angle, saying people have seen Vince wondering around and saying he looks like a bum with tattered clothes

Oh boy, from WWE.com:

Lead investigator to address media Thursday

By Corey Clayton

Written: June 13, 2007

WWE.com received word that the lead federal investigator in the Mr. McMahon limousine-explosion case will release a statement Thursday to bring the media up to speed on the investigation and its progress.

Mr. McMahon is presumed dead after his limo exploded outside the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Monday night after Raw. McMahon was seen on live television entering the vehicle moments before the explosion consumed the car. No body has been recovered yet from the burned-out vehicle.

Investigators combed Mr. McMahon’s private office at WWE headquarters early Wednesday, searching for any clues or information that would aid in the case. They took many boxes of evidence from the building, as well as McMahon’s personal computer. The site of Monday’s explosion is still cordoned off by investigators as a crime scene.

McMahon exiting in the picture is awesome.

Brlliant! Didn't notice that at first...

But he appears uninjured so where are they going with this?

No, it's not brilliant - that's not Vince.

That's not Vince, but it would be funny if Vince is caught on camera backstage on Raw or Smackdown.

I cant remember what the production crew voice said that one time when they goofed up and showed a backstage camera too early but that would certainly be it.

I wonder who they picked out of OVW to play the lead agent? I'd say go with Cabana. Seriously, he could be perfect for it as the bumbling FBI agent.

If only Vince and the writers would put this much effort and time into OTHERS WRESTLERS angles and characters as well, it might be a little better to watch.

So one odd thing I noticed about the Limo was that it had no back window. When the camera showed a shot of the limo from the back, the top was just a solid white, no window at all. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the limo exploding, but it made me think something was gonig to happen just because I've never seen a limo without a back window.

Plus I'm thorwing Mean Gene's name into the hat for who did it. Are we going to take bets?

Is this possibly Mick Foley's storyline idea?

If this was Foley's idea, he would have done a 15 minute narrative while McMahon walked to the limo.

A part of me loves this idea

this is an AWESOME picture of a guy in a suit looking sternly at a stack of papers. I BELIEVE he is a federal guy!!

Elsewhere on the site it appears they canceled, i mean POSTPONED the supplemental draft until SUNDAY. Meaning they are so obsessed on working on the storyline that everyone outside and in wrestling fandom is ridiculing them for and will NOT draw money, that they dont have time for planning on the future of, what do you call them? oh yeah, the employees that people pay to see.

You sure know that their future is planned a long time before, they're just postponing announcing it. That "Vince is dead" angle is really in all the news, the draft would go by unspotted, except for the smarks. So, I find the postponing of the supplemental draft a smart move.

If they have Cena playing detective, perhaps he'll bring back BA Bumpy Knuckles to help him out?

One thing we do know...it wasn't Snitsky's fault.

"It`s me Austin, it was me all along Austin!~"

Actually I`m quite glad they`ll explore the “whodunit” angle. It should make for some interesting television if done correctly. My main suspects would have to be either Vince himself or Triple H.

i never got the its me austin line, austin already knew vince was the higher power, he saw his face the week before on raw.

anyhow kinda interesting angle here that I totally did not expect. but what if Vince really did die during this angle by natural causes. how would"they explain that on tv "well you know this vince blow up thing is a wrestling angle, but vince really did die today

Im surprised vince even knows about the sopranos since hes usually oblivious to current pop culture (ie Paul Birchills pirate gimmick). even though I have no real problem with the sopranos ending since my fav character (Paulie) survived.

Oh my God, go to WWE.com and watch the video of the "FEDERAL ADDRESS" really quick. It just moved this storyline in a totally different direction!

Anyway, the word going around is that Vince chewed Paul London a new ass because of that big goofy smile on his face during the final angle on RAW.
