Ripper Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Coach is the most logical choice I guess, but I am putting in my vote for it being a returning Stephanie.
Cheech Tremendous Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I'm going to wager a guess that it was originally set up as a Jackass "stunt" to kickstart that angle going in to Summerslam, but I bet that's out the window now after seeing all the attention the angle is getting. They are going to milk this thing for all it's worth.
Taker666 Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I was just wondering. what if a WWE Superstar were to actually pass away in the middle of this angle. would they drop this whole storyline than? they would really have backed themselves into a corner.
Darth Vader Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Vince should just walk out on Raw next week wearing his classic blue jumpsuit with the WWF block logo on it sit down and start announcing the matches like the last ten years of his life never happened. And when people ask him about it have him just look confused.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I think it sucks that Vince McMahon's death delayed the supplemental draft. I could've done it for them, I'm not that emotionally scarred from what happened Monday night.
RepoMan Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Coach is the guy they set up to look like the obvious suspect, only to be innocent. I love whodunit angles. The pay off is a 90% chance to disapoint but the investigation is usually fun. This storyline might be stupid, but its going to be fun, don't hate.
Guest frostdude1 Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I think it will end up being Vince faking his own death and fooling everyone ... now when he comes back ? I dont know
Vern Gagne Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Vince should just walk out on Raw next week wearing his classic blue jumpsuit with the WWF block logo on it sit down and start announcing the matches like the last ten years of his life never happened. Hawk 34 Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 They were actually talking about this on the local sports radio show. Basically, it was 10 minutes of the host saying that pro wrestling was the lowest form of entertainment, ya know, the usual stuff. Then he was shown footage of it and he said he changed his mind and wants to see what happens next week.

I think Coach is about the least logicial person to have done it, if only because if they spend five/six months running a storyline to have the final conclusion be 'Coachman did it', the only appropriate reaction would be complete and utter silence, some sort of "slide whistle noise" and roll credits.
Atticus Chaos Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Anyone notice before Vince entered the limo he looked at the door hande and seemed scared for second or two? I think this fits in with the thoery that he faked his own death. Â Â You know, the McMahon's are going to have a tough time of it when Vince actually does die. Everyone will think it's an angle.

TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 It's gotta be Kane! It's GOT TO BE KANE!!!
The Niggardly King Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/mcmahoninvestigation  McMahon exiting in the picture is awesome.
Atticus Chaos Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 How exactly is the whodunnit angle going to lead to a match? (cause that is the point, after all) Â Â Shane versus his dad's killer? Â A returning Vince versus the guy who tried to kill him? Â WWE creative versus David Chase? Â Â Kayfabe wise, Vince was so disliked, who's going to step up and avenge his death? Heck, the culprit might even be the babyface in the situation.
The Niggardly King Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 You can have Lashley do it. In a sense, he could feel guilty for Vince's spiral into his manic depression in a sense. Â It could lead into making the new authority figure even look worse than Vince. Like if they were going to go with Shane, and once he got full control over the WWE, and have him say he did it. Â There are a lot of ways they could go with this.

There are a lot of ways they could go with this.  You could reveal HHH is Vince's son in law, so he has a reason to go after the killer.  Or, I suppose John Cena could come out and say that while he disliked Vince, he owes him for the oppertunities he got in wwe, so he feels he has to track down the culprit. That way Cena's at the centre of the storyline and you get him going around playing detective.
StrapFinlay Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/mcmahoninvestigation McMahon exiting in the picture is awesome.  Brlliant! Didn't notice that at first...  But he appears uninjured so where are they going with this?
Cheech Tremendous Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 The thought of real FBI agents searching through McMahon's personal files just cracks me up for some reason. Could you imagine? Â "Hey Bill, I don't understand what any of these file notes are supposed to mean. This one just says 'Tell Sabu to fuck Sabu.'"
Atticus Chaos Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Will the FBI guys become on screen characters?
Vanhalen Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 You guys are insane, this is one of the greatest angles of all time. NO ONE saw this coming, it was a perfect suprise, wwe.com have played this perfectly. Theyve had great timing with the Sopranos finish and HUUUUUGE amounts of mainstream coverage. It doesnt matter who did it, because by then the media will have moved on. I would bet $10 next mondays raw is at least a 4.5 rating.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I would bet $10 next mondays raw is at least a 4.5 rating. I'm daring someone to cash in on this ill-conceived wager.
AlaskanHero Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 You wanna know did it? Â Paul London. Â Think about it.
Twisted Intestine Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 When I watched it I thought it was fairly obvious Vince killed himself, and didn't think otherwise before coming on the net. Â He was acting crazy, He was going the wrong way to get to his limo(Having second thoughts?), He kept on looking at the two outside(People I assumed he hired to rig up the explosion), and he hesitated a few times before getting in. Â They set it up to make it look like he offed himself way more than they made it look like Coach did it.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 One of the problems with this angle is where do you go from here? You just had the boss get blown up. How can you possibly follow this? There's no denying it's a spectacular and attention-grabbing angle, but it's so spectacular that anything after this is going to seem tame in comparison, no matter how well executed.
Atticus Chaos Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Do you think the writing team even know who did it yet?
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Do you think the writing team even know who did it yet? No.
Cheech Tremendous Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Do you think the writing team even know who did it yet? Absolutely not. I would still argue that it was meant to setup the Jackass angle, but now that's out the window while they attempt to milk the mainstream attention it for all its worth. Â By the way, they have to get at least 0.5 ratings bump next week. Right?
Bruiser_Brody_ Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 my boss comes up to me at work today and goes, "Hey you hear Vince McMahon died on RAW and the FBI are investigating, Pretty crazy shit, eh?" Me: "Uh dude, its a story line, they taped it Sunday." Boss: "Are you sure, WWE.com reported...." *HEAD EXPLODED*
