Gert T 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2008 A lot of people only remember the fat, lazy Vin Baker, not the "could someday be another Karl Malone" Vin Baker. We'll have to wait another 10 years though to see if he can sire multiple professional athletes.

TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2008 Dunking Dutchman meet...THUNDER DAN!!! Dan Majerle, G/F - 2 time all defensive 2nd team - 3 time all-star - 2 time NBA single season 3pt leader - in his prime averaged 17/5/4/2 I need a 3 point shooter off the bench and Majerle's one of the best ever. He is also a solid defender continuing my theme of drafting good two way players. He can come off the bench when I need 3 point shooting or when I need energy with his dunking ability. A line-up of Allen and Majerle on the floor at the same time will be a deadly combination.
Gert T 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2008 Good pick with Thunder Dan. wasn't looking at him here, but thought about him next. I had been avoiding picks like this, but what the hell, the credentials are strong, and the more I look, the happier I am he's on my team. With my 11th round pick I select: Paul Arizin/G-F/Philadelphia Warriors 10 Time All-Star 3 time All-NBA Missed 2 years......serving as a Marine in the Korean War. MFer 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2008 I believe Arizin's the last of the original 50 Greatest to go off the board. Great value pick but I'm not sure how he'll be received by the voters...going WAY back with Arizin.

Jorge Gorgeous 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2008 I wanted to add another center who could do a little of everything, including one thing very well. C - Elmore Smith Career leader in Basketball Reference's Defensive Rating, ahead of Ben Wallace, Tim Duncan, etcetera. 5th all time in career blocks... in 9 seasons. 17 blocks in a game. In his prime he was pouring in 17 points and grabbing 15 boards per game. In one season, he averaged 4.9 blocks per game. Insane. Great defense off the bench. Gert T 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2008 Just giving this a bump. If KOAB continues to be AWOL, are we just going to keep by-passing him and then filling in his roster at the end?
MFer 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2008 From my understanding, he should be able to make his 9th-10th picks anytime now. Didn't someone PM him?

Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2008 Fuck the 12 hour rule, he's already missed two picks for 2 rounds already and has yet to make up those picks. Just let me pick now so I can get it over with.

Broward83 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2008 alright, since KOAB is before me.. can I just make my pick like EHME did or do I need to wait on KOAB?

Broward83 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2008 Well, with what seems to be my last pick..I realized I wanted another clutch shooting guard. I've got what I feel to be a clutch guy in Horry and well, I figured I'd pair him up with another clutch shooter. He's a good pick I feel for the last round and I think I've got the right team around him to keep his attitude in check. So, with my final pick I choose the man that Spike Lee feared during the 94 finals: Vernon Maxwell aka Mad Max -- Shooting Guard
