I started watching the WWF in 1994, sometime after WrestleMania. The first wrestling show I ever watched was Royal Rumble 1994 on tape, then I watched the weekly squash shows and my parents taped Raw. Those tapes are long gone. I'm pretty sure that it was like this...

WWF Champ: Bret Hart

Intercontinental Champ: Razor Ramon

Tag Champs: The Headshrinkers

I started watching WCW around Fall Brawl '95.

Let's try to do this without help...uh, Hogan was World Champ. US Champ was...fuck, I don't know. I know Sting won it sometime during the year, and that Sasaki had it too. But I think Sasaki won it at World War '95, which I've seen before. I'll guess Sting. World Tag Champs were probably Harlem Heat. TV Champ was, um, Regal.

Now, let's check to see what they really were.

WCW Champ: Hogan. Duh.

US Champ: Sting...good guess.

Tag Champs: Harlem Heat or the American Males.

TV Champ: The Renegade.

Boy, the Renegade.

Didn't really get into NWA/WCW until 1991ish but even then I only had Worldwide to watch and that went opposite SuperStars much of the time. Losing battle for Turner in my parents' living room.

THis is going to be tough to remember, but here's my best shot:

WWF World - Ultimate Warrior (say what you will about Mr. Warrior, but he's what got me watching wrestling in the first place)

Intercontinental - Mr. Perfect

Tag Team Champs - Demolition (like Warrior, I enjoyed their characters a lot and watched WWF more because of them)

WCW World - Sting

Can't remember who else was a WCW Champion at the time. I only heard about WCW when a friend of mine at school told me if I liked the Ultimate Warrior, I would like Sting as well.

Judging by the WWF Champions at the time, I'd say the WCW Champions were Sting, either Luger or Hansen (Depending on the time of the year), Arn Anderson, and Doom.

HBK would have been the Euro Champion, and if Owen was the IC Champion (post Badd Blood), then either the Godwinns (who defeated the Headbangers at Badd Blood) or LOD were tag team champions, depending on what week you were watching.

January 1992

WWF

World:Ric Flair had just won the Rumble for the vacant title

IC:Roddy Piper

Tag:The Road Warriors

NWA/WCW

WCW:Sting. Five months later, I witnessed Vader just beat the holy piss out of my hero Sting and take the title.

There was no NWA champ until Chono beat Rick Rude for the vacant title in August 92'. Of course, I had no fucking clue who Masa Chono was since I was a little kid. Then I found out that Chono is Justice and Chono Is Rule, or something.

US Tag:Dick Slater and The Barbarian I don't remember this shit at ALL.

WCW Tag Titles: The Dangerous Alliance. The MVC didn't win the NWA belts till July because, well, there WERE no belts until July. That confused the hell out of me.

TV: Steve Austin was murking dudes with the Stun Gun

US:Rick Rude

I can't seem to recall the exact time I started watching wrestling, but it was shortly after Mania VII. This means, basically, I share Brett Wolverton's list. I think technically Flair was WCW champion when I started watching wrestling, but by the time I became aware of what WCW was Luger was. I was also going to bring up a vague memory of 6 man tag titles but Brett had that covered too.

I'm certain that Williams and Gordy would have been tag team champions at the time. Either that, or the TV title was on Steamboat/Scott Steiner/vacant and the Light Heavyweight Title was vacant. There were a ton of title changes around this time.

Sometime in '95. Great American Bash was most likely the show WCW was building to, so...

WCW

World: The Giant

US: Konnan

Cruiserweight: Dean Malenko

Tag: Sting and Luger (?)

WWF

WWE: Shawn Michaels

IC: Goldust

Tag: Smoking Gunns

I could be totally wrong, though.
