IIRC, There's a pretty good Steiners/Tatanka vs. Money Inc/Doink (2/3 Falls) match from All American aired the afternoon of KOTR 1993.

I would have had a heart attack if Orton would have ate a DDT.

Did anyone else dig the good ol Nikes keeping Jake's feet comfy?

It's all good. Thanks for the response. I'll probably pick up a used copy. My faith in good wrestling games for X-Box is withered at best.

It harkens back to the days when a good guy would come to the ring 1st, you knew he was toast.

^^^ Ouch, the IC Champ is last . . . even behind Christian.

Just to confirm/deny DVDSpree, just 4 guys in the ring at a time for a battle royal/Royal Rumble and no Survivor Series tag matches, right?

Benoit vs. Triple H on Raw tommorow night
MillenniumMan831 replied to iliketurtles's topic in The WWE Folder
Beh, Batista will open WM winning the World Title from HHH. HHH will then bully Christian into giving up his spot in the ladder match . . . HHH'll win that and challenge Batista for later in the night (the last match) so he can get his win and title back. Then at Backlash, HHH will defend against a mystery opponent . . . Alex Wright since he owes him a job from Starrcade 1994. What can I say, it's just one of those HHHatin days. -

Will the mics make those static noises when they hit the mat? -

I'm surprised Vince let JR kiss his ass w/ that tobacco breath. -
Well, they both appear to be from "The Dark Side" w/ undead appearances.

Word from Meltzer is the Undertaker is threatened by his gimmick I honestly don't know if that's sarcasm or not.

Wrestling Gold: Box Set Collection

Never change your avatar. I enjoy reading your posts in Gorilla's voice. It's highly unlikely that I'm gonna change it anytime soon. As for the feds, it's mostly the old territories like Memphis, Texas, Florida, ect. -
Wrestling Gold: Box Set Collection

Got mine at Walmart for $14.50 US. Haven't even scratched the surface of it of but I'm sure just hearing Cornette yack on for 10 hours is worth it. -
"You can't say that on Television!"
MillenniumMan831 replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Wrestling
You can't really hear it but at Halloween Havoc 1998 while Sting is recovering on the outside, they cut to Hart inside the ring just as he mouths "Fuck you" to some fan. -
Is this on the tape? Danny Bonaduce (Danny Partridge) beat Christopher Knight (Peter Brady). Why no, it's not. *Heads to Suncoast for an immediate refund.* Grrumph. How dare WCW hold down Brady in favor of that old fart.

Plus, not even the markiest mark gave The Big Show a hope in hell of winning anyway.

Yeah, once my master of Best of WWF Volume 9 snapped, I decided to make backup copies of most (if not all) of my commercial masters to avoid having this happen again . . . after about 2 months, I'm halfway through. Plus, it's nice being able to cram 3-8 videos on a 8hr tape.

Best/Worst songs for commencments/senior sendoffs/
MillenniumMan831 replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Music
Hmmmm, both my graduations just had the good ol Pomp and Circumstance blaring through the PA . . . made me want to do the thing in the ring and get funky like a monkey. Oh Yeah! Although Faith No More's "From Out of Nowhere" would be a kickin song for a commencement. -
Does sitcoms still/really have studio audiences?

Family Matters is also guilty of this. I can understand Urkel getting pops, but when Carl and Eddie were getting it, yeesh. The earliest I remember was Happy Days. Like the others, literally every single recurring character would get it, including Tom Bosley. There are many eerie similarities between Happy Days and Family Matters. Both spin offs. Both had supporting character take over the show. The father figures were similar (blustery, overweight, overwhelmed, etc). Both had a sibling inexplicably disappear. The appleause thing. There's more I can't remember, I haven't been reminded of this in a while. Urkel was to Laura what Chachi was to Joanie. -
^^^ Ironically, I popped in SprSt99 before I left the house this morning to make a backup copy of it.

A sentimental favorite of mine is Spring Stampede 1994. I know the ppv ends w/ an indecisive finish but it was such a fun show to watch. The Chicago crowd is hot for much of it. The opener was a nice little bonus match. The street fight was awe-inspiring at the time. My buddy and I marked for Muta regardless of a 8min headlock or whatever. Sting won the big gold belt. IIRC, Vader busted out a moonsault. The Bunkhouse Match was pretty hardcore at a time when my only exposure was syndicated WWF/WCW programming. And of course, the Main Event was great. My buddy and I went half and half on the ppv and we'd fight over how long one of us would get to keep the tape before letting the other one have it. Imagine my surprise when I go to Suncoast in the late 1990s and see Spring Stampede 1994 for $12ish. My jaw dropped and I bought it.

Because HHH knows the business or something like that.

Seinfeld - Kramer gets a job . . . where he makes no money. - Damn near every Costanza/Steinbrenner scene. - "What's that smell?" "I think it's the horse." - Kramer running alongside the landing airplane w/ Jerry spotting him out the window trying to figure out if he just saw what he think he did. - Kramer being carried out of his apt in a bodybag by some thugs right by Jerry who just mumbles, "Always up to something." There's about 1,000,000 more I can't think of right now.

Maybe if he shit in her mouth instead Does anyone else remember that old (circa 2002) fantasy booking someone posted here about an angle about crapping in various people's mouths? I believe it was to build for HHH-HBK at SSlam 2002 and it basically predicted the entire angle, only when HBK was injured by HHH he did not crap in HBK's mouth. I only remember this one line from it that still cracks me up every time I think of it. "Stephanie McMahon comes out and orders HHH to face HBK. HHH tries to speak but his mouth is full of crap, so he just starts crying as Smackdown ends." Sorry Slickster, didn't catch much of that post. I was busy staring at your avatar.
