  3. With the situation Eli's walking into I see him being a repeat of Patrick Ramsay last season, getting repeatedly killed thanks to getting shit-all protection, though showing signs of being something good whenever he's not laid out on his back with a swarm of defenders standing over him.
  4. The Wall completely no selling Hogan's Leg Drop on the last Nitro before the Bischoff/Russo reset in 2000. And Vince Russo, of all people, no selling a Sting baseball bat shot on some NWA:TNA show, i'm thinking the 1 year anniversary but i'm not certain.
  5. Unless i can't read box scores i think i might have pulled out the extremely narrow 0.07 point victory as i don't see L.J. Smith mentioned as doing anything. Looks like some luck has gone my way for once, with 4th to 12th all only seperated by one game every game is vital.
  6. A 6-1 win followed with a 5-2 victory, i'm happy enough with my team that i don't see myself having to make any moves to change things at all, at least until the inevitable Grant Hill injury anyway. Of course saying this Garnett and Allen will inevitably get hurt tomorrow and throw things out of wack once more since things can never go totally smooth.
  7. November 16th: PG- Rafer Alston SG- Corey Maggette SF- Andrei Kirilenko PF- Amare Stoudamire C- Brad Miller Coach- San Antonio Spurs In other news, fuck Yao Ming.
  8. The five movies will probably just have a different item lost over the fence each time. The movie industry already has rehashing ideas down to a science, but making FIVE sequels to a movie, all of which would be basically the same would be reaching new highs of uncreativity.
  9. Shit, that's about as close as you can get. I'm sure Smith will get the points needed for you to win, in all my leagues every time i'm in a close matchup i always end up losing this year so i'm sure this will end up another loss for me. If only stupid ass Buffalo didn't stop Dillon from scoring a TD or two.
  10. Safe to say the honeymoon period for Willis McGahee is over, he's been getting mauled pretty much every time he's touched the ball.
  11. And the Bills finally get on the board, the way their offence looks special teams is the only way they'll be scoring.
  12. Another INT for Bledsoe, he couldn't have thrown it any more to Bruschi if he tried. 9 TD's and 9 INT's for Cement Shoes on the season.
  13. And Bledsoe throws into double coverage for the interception to end the 1st quarter, closing in on having as many INT's as TD's for the season.
  14. Ol' Dirty Bastard - Raw Hide
  15. Hooray for actually being booked in a match, and stuff.
  16. Baron not playing hurts me, 94 between everyone else. November 14th Lineup: PG- Gilbert Arenas SG- Michael Redd SF- Carmelo Anthony PF- Dirk Nowitzki C- Shaquille O'Neal (i wouldn't use Shaq, but i remember him absolutely murdering the Bucks last season with 20+ points and rebounds and a bunch of everything else so i'm hoping he can do it again) Coach- Charlotte Bobcats (not playing, but i needed them to fit under the cap. Only time i'll probably ever choose them) Preliminary November 15th Lineup: PG- Jeff McInnis SG- LeBron James SF- Richard Jefferson PF- Troy Murphy C- Yao Ming Coach- Houston Rockets
  17. Zero thought given with these: 1. Carlos Beltran - Astros 2. Adrian Beltre - Dodgers 3. Brad Radke - Red Sox 4. Edgar Renteria - Cardinals 5. Pedro Martinez - Angels 6. Carlos Delgado - Blue Jays 7. Magglio Ordonez - Mets 8. Jason Varitek - Red Sox 9. Carl Pavano - Yankees 10. Richie Sexson - Mariners 11. J.D. Drew - Braves 12. Nomar Garciaparra - Cubs 13. Troy Glaus - Orioles 14. Armando Benitez - Indians 15. Odalis Perez - Dodgers 16. Troy Percival - Cubs 17. Matt Clement - Rangers 18. Orlando Cabrera - Angels 19. Jeff Kent - Yankees 20. Moises Alou - I'd say the Washington whatevers, but since i doubt they'll be spending anything i'll randomly pick the Giants And for bonus points, here are five players frequently mentioned in trade talks. Are they traded, and if so, where? 1. Sammy Sosa - Not traded 2. Randy Johnson - Not traded, until later in the season anyway. 3. Kevin Brown - Not traded 4. Charles Johnson - Athletics 5. Jose Guillen - I don't know... White Sox, maybe. And Roger doesn't retire. Or he retires and comes back again anyway.
  18. November 12th: PG- Baron Davis SG- Paul Pierce SF- Rashard Lewis PF- Elton Brand C- Emeka Okafor Coach- Memphis Grizzlies November 13th: PG- Baron Davis SG- LeBron James SF- Luol Deng PF- Tim Duncan C- Brad Miller Coach- Portland Trail Blazers
  19. Megadeth - Holy Wars... The Punishment Due
  20. Even with Johan Santana clearly being the best this past season i expected this one to be closer with Schilling getting at least some 1st place votes. Pleasantly surprised they all got it right, a rarity when it comes to awards voting.
  21. I'm just glad that the mind-numbing idiocy isn't coming from a Portland player for once. Of course now he'll probably end up traded to the Blazers or something since they seem to collect headcases, cancers and whining bitches, with Artest looking to have lost his mind he'd fit right in. Hopefully we get a press conference or something with Artest completely bemused as to why people are pissed at him for what he's doing to add to this.
  22. Acid Bath - Paegan Love Song
  23. 119 with everyone over 20 aside from Jarvis Hayes, and i get the coach wrong for the first time that i actually picked a team that was playing. November 11th: New Edited Lineup PG- Dwayne Wade SG- Tracy McGrady SF- Rasual Butler PF- Kevin Garnett C- Yao Ming Coach- Minnesota Timberwolves
  24. Woohoo, most places gained. Stryke: No-showing his way to the top!
  25. Yay for the Blazers in 14th, looking at today's performance that's the highest they'll be for a while.
