  1. I just popped in to add that Rue totally smoked every other fucking diva involved in that mess.
  2. Yes, she is rather batchtastic.
  3. A little of both, actually.
  4. You left out a small detail. It's "hit the pedigree, wait a FULL MINUTE, then pin them"

    The Darkness

I know several people who absolutely HATE them. I mean, there's LOATHING there. Apparently, some people get offended because Darkness has gained success doing schtick.
  6. Some of grew up in a dystopia and liked it, Mr. Fucking High & Mighty.
  7. For one of my Administration of Justice classes in undergrad, the professor - who was an ex-cop - used to have us watch Cops every week, then he would go through the program and point out all of the examples of how police officers should NOT act.

    A Good point

Perhaps you're in the know here, Mike - is ANYTHING going to be done regarding the allegations against the Dems? Are they going to be investigated at all?
  9. I'm happy in a sad way. I never expected them to respect Benoit or give him any clean shot at the belt. And now I feel vindicated that my fears are becoming reality. Though it leaves a hollow feeling in my stomach.

    The Grammy's

I'm with the Man in Blak. I'm sorry, but Johnny Cash did more for music than Warren Zevon EVER did. Where's the love & respect?
  11. Well, I hadn't. Until now. Most. Adorable. Thing. EVER.

    Incubus

Brandon is a pretty man. A very, very pretty man. He's not all soft & doelike, like, say, Elijah Wood, but pretty nonetheless. Like a girl.
  13. As much as I love Batman, this could turn very bad if they decide to go a more Teen Titans route with this.
  14. Michaels of past eras, maybe not. MAYBE not. Michaels of today? Yes. Angle is better, in just about every way.
  15. It's easy. Just get mugged / burglarized a couple times. I suppose part of my snide dismissal of the anti-gun movement stems from living in the D.C. area. D.C. has some pretty strong anti-gun laws......and a lot of good it's done us. We had a rather "nice" little school shooting just the other day.
  16. What the fuck are you even talking about? First off, as Marney stated, the "War on Drugs" has bipartisan support, because NO ONE wants to appear soft on drugs. Second, the number of individuals actually in jail for pot is ridiculously small, especially compared to those incarcerated for harder drugs like coke or heroin. And the ones who are in jail for pot are the ones who were either caught trafficking or had VERY large amounts in their possession - not a dime bag, but POUNDS of the stuff. Most marijuana arrests get plead out (or thrown out) and the perps wind up with either a stay in rehab or with probation. I don't know what point you're trying to proof. Most people don't give two shits about pot. I know police officers who look the other way most of the time, so long as the individual isn't doing other crazy shit (i.e. disturbing the peace, etc.) at the time.
  17. I'd have liked to see that match, but frankly, Stevie & Vic beating on Test to the point where his ass has to be saved by REFEREES was worth it. Best was the goofy look on Test's face as he was leaving.
  18. I've known someone killed by a handgun. I've known someone who's killed themselves with a handgun. Guess what? I'm still pro-2nd amendment, and a member of the NRA. Studies show that private gun ownage DECREASES the crime rate. They've shown that consistently for years now. I suggest reading material from a man named Gary Kleck, who has published some interesting material on the subject (and just to hedge off any criticism of the man before you know who he is - he's a card-carrying member of the ACLU, so he's no conservative lemming). I don't have the numbers in front of me, but the number of crimes prevented by guns is statistically higher than the number of fatalities (of all sorts - criminal, suicidal, or accidental) caused by them. I'm sorry to burst your little "GUNS EVIL!!!" bubble.
  19. You, my friend, are a fucktard. Seriously. People constantly tout how many men have died in Iraq as though we are supposed to say "Jesus, people are dying! We have to get out of there!" Understand, moron, that more people would have died had Saddam been left in power compared to when we went in. 500 Deaths? I mourn them for their sacrifice, but I understand why that sacrifice was made: for the direct welfare of 25,000,000 people and countless other millions indirectly who could have been hurt by Saddam had he tried another invasion (His army was still the best in the Middle East outside of Israel). You idiots use them as a simple statistic to try and further your already weak argument of non-intervention. More died in a single hour on Omaha Beach, dying for the freedom of others who couldn't defend themselves. Would you throw away their achievement and say that they died in vain for a war we never needed to get involved in (Japan and Germany never intended to invade the US). How 'bout telling the 1,000,000 families abroad (Outside of Iraq) that lost their loved ones that the lives of 500 servicemen was simply a price too high to take out someone who took the lives of their fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, and uncles. I loathe people like you. Marney's JS Mill quote really applies here. It truly does. Right. This is my problem with Kerry. I find his actions terribly disingenuous.
  20. It has been held again and again and again, ad nauseum, that minors under the age of consent - and it varies from state to state, but NONE, obviously, would go so low as eight years old - are not capable of giving informed consent to sexual activity. Psychologists are with the courts on this. I don't care if she says she enjoyed it - an eight year old girl is not fully capable of fully understanding what sex (or in this case, pregnancy) fully is or understand that they were victimized. Arguing otherwise gives credence and credibility to the beliefs of perverts like those found in NAMBLA.
  21. This just goes into my growing file of how Bush is, in many ways, the Republican version of Bill Clinton. As for Kerry......hasn't he publically stated that he regretted every being in the Vietnam War? How the fuck do you say something like and STILL go out and trot out your service record and get a pass for doing so?
  22. Thank you. Some schmuck posts a SECONDHAND story ("Yeah, I have this friend who met Eddie G and sez he was an asshole! I'm SHOCKED and DISHEARTENED by that.") and some people here are almost taking it as the gospel. A) "Testimonial" stories like this should ALWAYS be taken with a grain of salt, and B) We have absolutely no reason to believe the validity of this story in particular. Feel free to continue your instant speculation that he's back on drugs / booze, though.
  23. Someone apparently isn't bright enough to understand sarcasm.
  24. Pregnant at EIGHT?!?! Is that even possible? And Frigid, the guy's clearly guilty of statutory rape, but apparently they knocked the charges down to get him to cop to the plea. I agree with Naibus. Put him in the general pop, and social darwinism will handle the problem well enough.
  25. Even if that's not true, I really, really want it to be. Oh, and as for Kerry - he should enjoy this "mainstream" label that he's placed on himself, because once his voting record gets introduced to the American public, that illusion is going to be shattered very quickly.
