And 2 out of those 3 issues may weigh in Bush's favor. Iraq will be the focal point, of course, and that's where Bush will get the most heat. Will it be enough to oust him from office, though? It depends upon what the situation is a few months from now. The economy? As long as it continues to grow and recovery keeps happening, then a good portion of the sting will be taken out of this issue in regards to using it as a weapon against Bush. Medicare? The far right and the far left aren't happy with this bill, but - as many political commentators are saying today - this is a near-Clinton like performance by Bush as he's playing to the moderates on both sides of the political aisle.

I can't believe no one's mentioned the fact that Daniely Day-freakin'-Lewis is now rumored to have received the part of Rha's al-Ghul. This movie hasn't even gone into full production yet, but already I dub it: Best. Superhero. Movie. EVER.

Would you feel the same way if there was an Evil American gimmick? What do you mean? Like if in say, Stampede or AJPW they had an evil American gimmick? Yes, that would kick all sorts of ass, I'd love it. I'd love it too. I'd mark for the Evil American. He should come out to the ring to Bowie's "I'm Afraid of Americans." Tell me about it. Some people need to change their names to Sandy Vag.

Oh really touching man. Honoring him is one thing but Crash Died Three weeks ago. It's not emotional good to do something like that. Okay, then, let's have one of your best friends - who you've known for years and is like a brother to you - die suddenly, IN YOUR HOUSE, and let's see if you're "over it" in just a few short weeks.

I got into an argument with a friend over something like this. He thought the funniest thing in the world was that Darwin fish that people put on the back of their cars.....you know, the one that's a parody of the Jesus fish? But he got ENORMOUSLY pissed off that some enterprising Christian came up with a parody of the parody - a Jesus fish eating the Darwin fish. Do people not get parody or satire anymore?

Oh, I'm not that well educated in bad movies, I guess. I don't even know what Mad Max is but a movie that everyone says is very cheesy. Wha.....dude, you've never seen "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome"? ......what's WRONG with you? MASTA BLASTA RUN BARTERTOWN!!!!!!

Glad to see that "Elf" is going to go over the 100 million mark - I'm glad to see Will Ferrell earn some success. He deserves it more than Mike Myers does these days. "Master & Commander" did okay, I guess....I mean, it only lost what? A third of its audience? That's about normal, right? Of the new films, the only one I think is even remotely interesting is "The Missing", but it'll do shit at the box office.

Kurt Angle's neck worse than originally thought
Vyce replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
This just depresses me. -
Damn, I wish I had seen that, if for no other reason than to see Brokaw try and pronounce "Tawana Brawley". Seriously, though, these 9 (10? I lose count) need to just Thunderdome. 9/10 men / women enter, one candidate leaves.

I don't mind him so much. That's not to say I'm a fan of his, but he doesn't make me want to turn the channel like someone like Albert does. He's okay as a midcard heel. I will say this - even though he's severely limited in what he can do, he does work better in this "asshole" gimmick (is it REALLY a gimmick?) he's got.

I've missed the boat entirely on the Rhyno situation. Why is he so in the dog house? He had a match with Tajiri that was so bad, apparently, that Vince just walked out to the ring in the middle of the match, told them both to stop and hit the showers because he thought the match sucked. He placed the blame sqaurely on Rhyno's shoulders, and he has been in the dog house ever since. See, now I'm a bit confused, as I've heard conflicting reports about that match - some say it was just an awful match, others that the match was done that way on purpose to facilitate Vince coming out (basically, it was a work). Whatever the cause, goddamn the guy is in the shits now. Poor SOB has to job hard to Scotty 2 Hotty on Velocity.

Iron Giant does it for me. I don't anymore, but I did cry once towards the end of LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring - the whole scene where Sean Austin follows Frodo into the river. The "I made a promise, Mr. Frodo!" speech really got to me, because of the whole, you know, undying friendship thing. I can honestly say that I've NEVER cried or gotten emotional at the end of Field of Dreams. Probably because a) I hate baseball and b) I hate my father.

And he should care because.........?

Even if he isn't a kid toucher, Michael Jackson is one of the most disturbed human beings on the planet. What are we supposed to feel for him? Sympathy? The fucker admits to, at the least, sleeping in the same room as little boys. I don't know about you, but any grown man who spends that much time - intimate time, no less - with kids who a) ain't his own or b) aren't related to him, has something profoundly wrong with him.

I was all set to laugh at this and applaud you for your comedic talents until I realized you weren't really joking, were you.

Those are two perfect examples, actually. Especially Gellar. It's just sad how delicious she was first season as compared to the latter seasons. Shit - by the start of season seven, she was pretty much the least attractive woman on the cast.

I personally wouldn't watch this show for any reason other than threat of bodily harm, but my observation from the numerous commercials & promos I've seen: talk about the jailbait cuties all you want, but I personally think Kelly Rowan smokes ALL of them. Then again, I've been a Rowan fan for a loooooong time.

Okay, maybe one of you can help me out here. I haven't read any James Patterson books before. BUT I saw "Along Came A Spider" on TNT last night, and while I thought it was okay (I'm a Michael Wincott mark, so I watched the whole damn thing), I felt like I was missing a ton of stuff that was probably done a lot better in the book. So, anyone read the novel? Is it worth me picking up at the library?

Monsoon is not immune. Pretty much cause I, for one, wasn't that fond of him.

Because the characters and plots are better than anything Lucas is doing, or has done for several years.

I'm sorry to see Boomtown cancelled - as it truly was a great show - but I'm not surprised to see it go. Someone SHOULD cancel "Kid Notorious" - it's maybe the most godawful show I've seen in a decade, if not longer.

He did something that, according to his job, he's not supposed to do. However, it had a positive effect in the big picture. They will probably give him a virtual slap on the wrist due to the circumstances, and I'll agree with that. But that doesn't mean it was suddently alright for him to do. Extenuating circumstances. He was justified and downright morally and ethically right in his actions. Hell, I'd probably give the guy a pass even if he had chosen to kneecap the guy.

Bush v. Dean: The Sparring Begins.
Vyce replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
Is O'Reilly - oops, "Media Whore", forgot myself for a second - going to be right when he claims that this will be the "dirtiest" presidential election in recent memory? -
Is he knocking the bottom out of that? You WORK it, Dames!
