Fortunately, Sci-Fi is going to give us a Farscape miniseries sometime in the relative future, so maybe they can undo some of the fucking damage. It won't make up for "Tremors: The Series", but it's a goodwill gesture. Speaking of sci-fi shows: the finale of Babylon 5. I didn't really cry, but I did get emotional, because the show is really THAT damn good, and it ended marvelously. For anyone who's a hardcore fan of the series, there is no better finale than seeing JMS literally turn out the lights.

Just a reminder, for those ignorant of the subject or who haven't had any criminal law courses in undergrad / graduate / law school, "homicide" is NOT the same thing as "murder". "Homicide", in essence, merely means a death at the hands of another - it's a general term, and doesn't take into account such factors as justification. That fact will quickly get lost in the shuffle, I imagine.

I've seen the Ron Popeil infomercial for that damn rotisserie quite a few times. Why? Very simple - I like to eat, I like to eat animal flesh, and damn if some of that stuff he's cooking doesn't look damn good. Oh, and I actually have Matthew Lesko's autograph.

WOW, has she fallen. She was never on top of the world as an actress, I know, but man......going from having a national TV show to living in a halfway house in the space of two years is a pretty big drop. BTW, for those who care, the company line was that while Witchblade did okay in the ratings and had a pretty decent fanbase, TNT was sufficiently freaked by Yancy's addictions that they flat out cancelled the show.

I can't imagine this thing will ever make it past pilot. Which is not to say that should it ever make it to a regular season I wouldn't watch it - I would watch every goddamn episode and tape them for posterity. In theory, though, this COULD work - he's going to be playing a detective, which means it'll likely be more of him investigating crime scenes rather than chasing baddies (knowing Hollywood, they'll pair him up with either a) a hot young twentysomething police babe or b) a wise-cracking black guy to do all the action work for him). As long as they approach it with a sense of humor, than it could work.....maybe. They WOULD have something of a built in audience - and if they have frequent guest appearances by WWE stars..... My theory: the show gets developed, but if it makes it past pilot to regular production it gets shipped off to one of CBS / Viacom's smaller networks, i.e. UPN.

And we have a winner. That's the key thing to remember in regards to Orton v. HBK - it doesn't matter that it took five brass knuck shots for him to take out Shawn, it only matters that in the end he went over Shawn in a time when Michaels still goes over pretty much all of his opponents. In recent memory, there's only three people who have really gotten the best of Michaels in the past year or so - HHH, Orton, and possibly (if you can take the last RAW as any indication), Batista. What a surprise - one is HHH himself, the other two are his pet projects. I agree with a few of my peers about the Orton push being so unpopular with "smarks" because it's too forced. It's too much too soon for too little return. If he was the least bit over, if he had even a modest amount of heat, him going over the top faces might mean something, but instead he has little to no heat, and he still goes over them, with the result being him STILL being heatless and the faces now, in the short term at least, damaged for jobbing to him.

Awesome moment. I must say, when he stepped out and the troops started cheering, I marked out a bit. Regardless of whether you dislike (or hate, as some here do) Bush & the war, this was a great thing to do for the troops. I was shitting bricks, though, until I had heard he had already left and was going to return soon to the U.S.

I watch the stuff on Adult Swim, as I don't have the energy or the patience (or the money) to hunt down stuff outside of what I get for free on basic cable. FLCL is fantastic, though. BTW, is there any sort of resolution to Big O, for those who have seen all the episodes or read the manga? You KNOW Roger wants to fuck the robot.

I wouldn't be so pissed off if Lawler hasn't mentioned Booker's jail time EVERY FUCKING TIME he's commentated a Booker T match. I mean, he's been doing it for MONTHS now. And while I'm sure Booker T is strong enough to take it, that must have been an incredibly embarassing portion of his life, and Lawler brings it up week after week after week. You would think that someone like Lawler, who's had some pretty fucking serious dealings with the law himself, would be a bit more sympathetic.
