Triple major in psychology and philosophy...

So you can examine/interpret in further detail what you're thinking about?...

Hmm.... there's a guy at a bus station downtown somewhere who can probably do the same thing.

Bachelors in political science and applying to law schools at the moment...

Was history education, but darn school picked every class until graduation for me.

SO, changed that to math education, so I can take some other fun classes on the side. Plus, job demand is higher and supply is lower.

Powderpuff majors. At least you minored in something legitimate.

And you're going to be what, Theatre? Shit, that makes you a powderpuff.

What do you mean?

Since you're a relative youngin', I figured you haven't been to college yet, and thus was wondering what you were looking into once you got there

You answered it, pretty much

Working towards a Bachelors of Science in Biblical Languages (ancient Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic).

May pursue a Masters in Biblical Archaeology (languages intensive) and move on to doctorate work in that area.

What could you do for a living with that degree? Just wondering.

The easiest would be teach, but that's not what I'm planning to do. I'd like to go overseas and work in archaeology, particularly in ancient near eastern history. Do translation work, and also do some work towards the historicity of the Bible.

There's always missions work as a possibility too. Living among tribal groups and developing a written language based on their oral language with them.

Traveling, in any event, is preferable to staying in the States and teaching.

Go math majors, whoo!

Just one caveat I have for potential math majors: Theoretical math (which you'll venture into after calculus) is a whole 'nother world from applicitave math.

Political Science/History Ed. right now.

What am I gonna do? Hell, I dunno.

Thanks for setting me straight. I'll be sure to let the USAF know that my six-figure salary is entirely inappropriate.

Yeowch

But I thought you worked for Congress, Marney

Or was it one of the Cabinet dep'ts?

Set me straight here, please
