Guest champchavez Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 In no particular order: 1. The Midnight Express: 'The Chase' by Giorgio Morder (from the fantastic movie 'Midnight Express'-which I recommend to everyone) ps kudos to Acid and Kashmere for recycling this. 2. Hollywood Hogan: 'Voodoo Child' by Jimi Hendrix 3. The Road Warriors: 'Iron Man' by Black Sabbath 4. Ric Flair: 'Also Sprach Zarathustra' (Richard Strauss) 5. Demolition: 'Demolition Theme (I don't know the real name of this one-anyone have the piledriver album?)' by Derringer 6. Randy Savage: It escapes me the name of that track. I know it. Dammit! Something like... dammit I forget. 7. RVD: 'Walk' by Pantera 8. Justin Credible: 'Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck' by Prong (the original, fuck that cover version) 9. Cactus Jack: 'Born to be Wild' by Steppenwolf (not that fucking terrible Cult version) 10. Mr. Perfect: I don't know what the name is of that beautiful peice of music. oh there's a million more!!! What was that song titled, by the otherwise awful Alan Parsons Project that Steamboat used to come out to in the Fed. The CHicago Bulls used to come out to it too! THey still might for all I know. 'Intergalactic' by the Beasties was really good. ONe of my faves in the past couple years was Spanky with Jurassic 5's 'Quality COntrol'
Boner Kawanger Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 Mr. Perfect's theme was called "Exodus", a most fitting name for entrance music.
Guest Bottled Black Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 6. Randy Savage: It escapes me the name of that track. I know it. Dammit! Something like... dammit I forget. I believe it's Pomp and Circumstance. And I don't know why but I used to love the British Bulldogs music.
deancoles Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 1.Slick 2.Vader wcw 3.Ric Flair 4.Powers of Pain wwf 5.Fabulous Rougeau Brothers 6.Hulk Hogan 'Real American' 7.Demolition 8.Virgil 9.Ted Dibiase 10.Jake Roberts(the one from late 91-92) I'm also a mark for the Texas Tornado theme and the Brutus Beefcake theme.
WrestlingDeacon Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 "Jive Soul Bro" is actually a pretty killer track. Great groove underneath it. I've always liked Jimmy Snuka's theme too and of newer stuff I dig Angle's "Medal" which was also used for the Patriot. And call me crazy, but I love, LOVE, Eyes of Righteousness that Brother D-Von came out to. Great faux gospel sound and a bit different from the genric rock crap that everyone else has these days.
HarleyQuinn Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 #1: DX "Degeneration X" - Connecticut Yankee #2: Raven "Come Out and Play" - Offspring(I just fucking love this one) #3: Ric Flair "Also Sprach Zarathustra" - Richard Strauss #4: Hardy Boyz "Loaded" - Zack Tempest #5: Tommy Dreamer "Man In A Box" - Alice in Chains #6: Goldust Whatever the name is, I think it's fabulous #7: Jake Roberts his dark one, might be his face one IIRC #8: Diamond Dallas Page "Just High Five" - Jimmy Hart #9: Ted Dibiase "Million Dollar Man" #10: Legion of Doom "Oh, What A Rush" - WWF Productions
deancoles Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 Does your jake Roberts theme have him saying "trust me" in it? if not it's his face theme.

Thanks.

Thanks. Family Man off the WCW Slam Jam Album? That thing was a hunk of shit as was all the songs on there. Man Called Sting is tolerable and probably the best theme he ever had.
Sonic Reducer Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 1. Ted DiBiase 2. All others. Sorry, but nothing tops DiBiase's. My band's even done a cover of it.
DMann2003 Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 You know what theme I miss? Edge's first one ("You think you know me"), that was cool.

DCMaximo Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 6. Randy Savage: It escapes me the name of that track. I know it. Dammit! Something like... dammit I forget. Hey, how come no-one assumed this was "What Up Mach?" from the album WCW Mayhem??? Was it really so obvious that it was his WWF theme? Actually, "What Up Mach?" sucked, my mistake. 1. Mark Henry- Sexual Chocolate 2. Backseat Boyz- the one they use in CZW 3. Buff Bagwell- Buff Daddy 4. Christian- the rock-opera one he debuted after the Edge split 5. Simon Diamond- Simon Says 6. Sting- that Metallica song he used (Seek and Destroy?) 7. Raven- WCW theme 8. Sid- WWF circa 1997 9. Ted DiBiase- WWF theme 10. Hulk Hogan- Real American

Guest ToddRoyal Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 The complete lack of all respect for the various themes of, and sung by, Jacques Rougeau, sickens me. That is all.
DangerousDamon Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 3.) Chris Benoit (WCW Theme) Which one? The Rage Against the MAchine sounding song or the porn music song?

lomasmoney Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 Best music ever is from when taker and big show were a team..... that entrance video is so fucking funny it fits the song perfectly
WrestlingDeacon Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 1. The Fabulous Rougeaus (All American Boys) - Just such a great heat getter straight off the blocks You know what always drew insane heat right off the blocks every time. Nikolai Volkoff singing the Russian National Anthem. That's a great intro theme and gimmick that pissed people off back in the day.
