NoCalMike Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Well, back in the day we had 2 episodes a night, and they would vary in what era they would show. Then about 2 years ago they went down to one episode a night and they only seemed to show episodes made in the last year or two. Well NOW they started playing a second episode and it was the one where Bart cheated on the test and was placed in the school for gifted. This was the second of the two episodes and the first ep was the one where Marge lifted weights after living in fear after being mugged. So it looks like they are going from OPPOSITE directions now......oh joy~!
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Mine lately has been all episodes that are available on DVD. Dunno, might just be a coincidence, but maybe it's a quality issue.
Tawren Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 5:00 (usually) on CBC 7:00 on A Channel and Fox 10:00 on Comedy
Guest El Satanico Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 5 PM - 6 PM every weekday on Fox The episodes come from random seasons as far as I know. Personally, other than when the voices were different, I can't tell the difference between seasons.
Placebo Effect Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 6:00 and 7:00 weekdays. Sadly, the 11:00 showing just got replaced by fucking Malcolm in the Middle.
treble Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 The ones on 5 at CBC seem to be on to the newer ones (the one today was from last season, I think). It's on Omni1 and my Fox affiliate at 6 and they seem to be on older episodes. The same Fox affiliate shows it again at 7, and I think they're still on some older ones. It's on at 9 on Comedy and I think the episodes on them are pretty recent. It's on Omni1 again at either 10 or 11, but I'm not sure where those ones are at. I like watching the ones that Global shows on the weekend, since they aren't cut like the syndicated ones.
slimm44 Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Here in Tampa it comes on UPN at 5,6 and 11. As for episode playing. Mostly they stay in order, but they definitely show three different episodes per day.
GreatWhiteNope Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 FOX affiliate - newer episodes WB affiliate - older episodes CBC - newer episodes
The Czech Republic Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Fox Chicago has been all over the place, but recently, more recent episodes. We get it at 5, 6, and 10, and I really hope we don't lose a slot to something like Malcolm in the Middle. Bart Simpson > Bob Barron
The Niggardly King Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 FOX Seems like they're a few years back at 6, then a much older one, or a recent one at 7:30
MrRant Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 FOX: 6-7 (season order) CBC - Seems to be in order of whatever season it is.
BlackFlagg Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 for awhile it was at 6 and 6:30, then it went to one epsiode at 7:30, now that put a second one on at 6:30 with the 7:30 being an older one and the 6:30 more recent
DerangedHermit Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Fox 5 NY airs it at 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM, then one at 11:30 PM....they've been showing Season 4 lately
Si82 Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Here in the UK we seem to be getting newer episodes at the moment on Sky One every night.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 5-6 on Fox, they seem to just go in order now but they were showing almost all newer episodes for several years until they started showing older stuff last year. I also have satellite so I also get the Simpsons at 6:30-7:30 and 11:30 from New York and 9:00, 10:00 and 2:00 from LA. Those are all in seasons 2-5 right now I believe.
Alro Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 In Louisville, the UPN affiliate shows one episode at 7pm. Lately the episodes have spanned from 1999 to 2002, though some from season 7 have popped up here and there.
the max Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Only in the 4-430 slot on Fox. It's from all over. One afternoon it'll be an episode from season 2, the next day from season 11.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 They normally show Seasons 10-present episodes on my syndication. RARELY anything from season 4-9. Definitely not my favorite seasons (10-15) so I don't care to watch all the time.
dubq Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 5:00 (usually) on CBC 7:00 on A Channel and Fox 10:00 on Comedy Add to that, 6PM on OMNI1 [if you're in Toronto].
Guest T®ITEC Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 5PM, 6PM, and 10PM (MST) on Fox . They seem to cycle through the entire run of the show, and each timeslot is on a different cycle. And, of course, they always play the versions that have the heaviest syndication cuts...
The Czech Republic Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 They normally show Seasons 10-present episodes on my syndication. RARELY anything from season 4-9. Definitely not my favorite seasons (10-15) so I don't care to watch all the time. Why is it I've seen "Homer The Food Critic" line once every two weeks, but I never see the monorail? Damn shame. The Simpsons needs to wrap it up, because each new season means lower chances of seeing the classics in syndication.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 I hate that too. I've seen the Grifting episode probably 20 times in the last year and a ton of the pointless guest star episodes but I went around 5 years without seeing the Michael Jackson and Softball episodes from season 3.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 FOX 6pm - 7pm The newer and older shows vary.....they play both.....but it's usually newer ones.
River City Rocker Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 In Evansville, Indiana, we don't have Simpsons reruns. They used to air at eleven on our low-power UPN affiliate, which converted over from a Pax station last year. Several months ago, reruns of Taxi replaced The Simpsons without any warning, and no station's picked up the rights since. -Ben
Karnage Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 Once at 5:00 on CBC. Again at 6:00 on the Washington State FOX affiliate/Local station called Channel M. (Simulcast) Again at 7:00 on the Washington State FOX affiliate. Again at 9:00 on the Comedy Network. Again at 10:00 on Channel M. Again at 11:00 on the FOX affiliate. (Rerun of earlier episode) AGAIN at 12:00am on Comedy Network. (Rerun of earlier Comedy episode) They seem to be only showing the later episodes like the food critic episode recently. I haven't seen any of the classics in a while now. Oh yeah, and Global will usually have an 2 episode block of Simpsons at 5 or 8 on weekends. Plus, Comedy has the show at 9:00 and 12:00 on weekends.
MooreMark Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 5pm - CBC 6pm - OMNI 9-9:30(not sure) - Cartoon Network 9-9:30 (not sure) - Comedy Network 10pm - OMNI 11pm - Comedy or Cartoon Network. I think almost all of them are in or around season 6-7-8.
Brett Favre Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 FOX: At 6:30 PM, and 7:00 PM. Also at 11:30 PM. (New York City)
Cheex Incarnate Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 It used to be that at 5, Fox would show Simpsons then King of the Hill. Immediately after that at 6, UPN would show Simpsons then King of the Hill. But UPN just now stopped their simpsons airage, replacing it with Moesha....mo-fucking-eesha. -Cheex
Eclipse Posted September 16, 2004 Report Posted September 16, 2004 FOX: At 6:30 PM, and 7:00 PM. Also at 11:30 PM. (New York City) Same goes for me....
